Ordered 5 scoops of DG3 on Saturday morning. Was told it would be delivered on Monday between 8:00 am and 12:00pm. Took the day off so I could be here when it was delivered. I called at 10:00 since it had not arrived yet, was told they would call me when its on the way. I called back again at 3:00pm, was told it would be delivered around 5:00pm which is the time they close. Driver called me at 4:15 pm and said he would be at my house in 45 minutes. When arriving to this place it's also connected to a nursery which makes it convenient for landscaping decisions. Having a copy of the layout available for grabs like a flyer shows where the rocks are on the lot/land makes it easy to pick out the right rock. Also on the paper is pricing on the back, it Allows for easy decision making. The customer service is excellent. Delivery is always on time and even most deliveries were made early with a courtesy call made in advance prior to delivery. The call alone makes this exceptional and professional service. This business is willing to work around schedules and will deliver in the rain. Any business out in the rain making deliveries is A+++ service. Staff are knowledgeable in many plants and are willing to guided you where they are available. All in all I will be shopping here for years to come. read more

This company due to its employees is less than 1 star. This yard is ran by a couple younger aged guys who could care less about quality and being on time. They will short you on a load, give you a dirty load, forget a delivery completelyor most of all just hang up on you over the phone if they you have some questions and they don't feel like answering them. They are cheap but that's because the material is local to them, if you want cheap this is it, but don't expect anything above crap product for that low price. Try White Water rock or Decorative Stone Solutions. They will take care of you unlike these amateurs. read more

Do not use this rock yard . Scoops are tiny and over priced. 5 " scoops" didn't come close to covering my small front yard when 6 scoops more than covered by much larger back yard and we bought from the rock yard that was in Apple Valley. read more

Lots of options in the desert for rock, dont choose these people. Every company gets their rock from the same quarries, so other than slight variations in color there is no difference. So the only thing to set a company like this apart from others is customer service. These people have never heard of it. I recently purchased 30 scoops of rock to be delivered, and with all the rain and snow I had a window of 2 days to get it delivered. I spoke with some young girl on the phone on a Thursday afternoon to check inventory and delivery dates, I was told we could have it the next day no worries. So I went in 2 days later on Saturday morning to pay and setup delivery. First off the young girl tried to sell me a different color than I asked because "she knew by the sample I brought that I was wrong" ok kid been doing this a long time dont think so. So anyways we get what I asked for and paid and she said we should be good for Monday I just need to check with the driver. The driver comes in and says nope sorry trucks full have to wait until Tuesday. I said ok I guess that's ok if i have to, just want to be delivered before it starts pouring rain Tuesday evening. They said no worries, so Tuesday comes around and I have to call a 2pm to find out where my delivery is. They said we never told you it would be early (yes you did) so I said it needs to be here before 3pm or I'm cancelling. Well guess what it made it here before 3pm. The only thing positive was the delivery driver who isn't affiliated with their company just delivers rock, his name was Cowboy and he was great! So in closing...lots of choices go somewhere they actually value your business!! read more

Great prices and nice staff. Ordered two scoops of sand for the base of an above groud pool we are putting up. We came in the morning to make the purchase and setup delivery. The sand was delivered the same day within about 3 to 4 hours from when we placed the order. In addition, the scoop sizes were more than generous. We will definitely be coming back again. read more

I would give this company less than one star if I could. The scoops of dirt are not the size they should be. The dirt was also full of huge rocks that had to be cleaned out after it was delivered. Probably cleaned one full scoop of rocks out of the already undersized 6 scoops we purchased. Then there was the personality of the staff. Wow. The man who made the delivery stepped out of his truck, and said "where do you want it?" After I showed him, he got back into the truck, dumped the dirt, and left. No words were exchanged.. Don't buy here!!!!! I purchased two scoops of rocks on a Wednesday and was told they would be delivered on Friday morning 10am. Got a phone call and said the truck broke down from the supplier and yada yada yada. I called back and said I was going to cancel and he said he could deliver them for sure by Tuesday morning for sure so I did not cancel. Angel rock and said would have had them delivered by Tuesday and for a little cheaper but he reassured me they would be there by Tuesday. I called Tuesday morning to make sure and I was told nope not till Wednesday. Then another call back and told they do not do deliveries on Wednesday. I called back to cancel and was told would "pull some strings for me". Yeah right Wednesday morning I call to see what time they were coming and was told he had to call the delivery guy and he'd call me back. Nope he didn't so I called him and he confirmed no later than 4. Nope 3:30 he called and said unfortunately not today. Took a day off work and waited all day so they finally let me cancel. Ordered 16 tons of sunset beige and 4 tons of white rock rock on Friday for delivery on Saturday. The order was delivered in four trips to Oak Hills. On time and as ordered. I did order enough to complete the job and I knew how much was needed to cover the area I measured. Those that complain they did not get enough rock .... well, please tell the rest of your story. I would not even recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. If you like a business who delivers on the wrong day, delivers the wrong color rock and who has horrible customer service than this is the place to go. To top it off they don't even ring the door bell when they are dropping off the rock and place the rock in the worst location. They placed the rock in the center of my drive way blocking in my vehicles, even though I gave specific instructions where to dump it. I even made a fool proof sign that said "dump here" and still they screwed up! When I contacted their staff, the owner basically told me oh well. Very polite, adjusted his schedule for me and placed the rock exactly where I asked for it. I also worked with Marissa in the office. She is extremely professional and customer driven.
