It was Sunday and I was going back home to the Bay. Suddenly my tire got flat (first time in the past 8 years) so I had to tow the car and spend a night in Redding since no shops were working at the time I got to the city. Monday morning I called a bunch of shops and was told over and over that they can only get me a tire the next morning. I called Mike as well and was told the same but somehow they actually found a tire and called me back. So in a couple of hours, I towed my car to Mike's and was greeted with a family-like atmosphere like they've been working on every car of my family starting from great parents. In just a half-hour the car was fixed, checked, and good to go. I had a bittersweet moment when leaving the shop and hitting the road on my way home. I will definitely drop by next time I pass by Redding just to say hi. Overall, If you ever have any issues with a car and happen to be near Redding, this is the place to go. This is one of the rare Auto Shops when mechanics actually look deep into the issue and try to fix it instead of simply suggesting to swap a part. They really CARE. Thank you, Mike! Cheers!

Jeremy, the Manager, stopped everything he was doing and provided us with a quick diagnosis and our options. The car had not been serviced in a while And it needed a new transmission. Expensive but the fact that Jeremy took immediate care of our needs and provided options plus we felt so comfortable with the way he handled it. The rest of the staff were very friendly and super helpful. It's a bummer that our car broke down but I am thankful for repair shops like Perry's who are honest and handle their business with integrity and care for the people that get stranded in the middle of no where while traveling on vacation. Let me share you my story…read more We were on a road trip from the SF Bay Area to Seattle and back. That's about 2000 miles (probably more including the side trips). Needless to say, I had our diesel BMW X5 checked before leaving the Bay Area. When we got to Redding, CA, the dreaded check engine light (CEL) came on. So, we were frantic not knowing what was wrong with our car. Also, we had no idea what shop to go to. Can we find somebody knowledgeable and with the right equipment to work on a diesel X5? Can we find somebody honest enough who'll tell us exactly what's wrong and not charge us an arm and a leg? The universe must have been on our side because we found Steven, the manager (or owner) of Angelo's Classic Import. With Steven, all our fears were gone. They have a very updated shop with all the equipment needed to diagnose our car's problems. We found a very honest person in Steven who charged us honestly. (Turned out the issue was minor and he charged us only $20!) How I wish his shop is in the Bay Area because I would drive the whole length of the Bay Area just to have the privilege of me becoming his client for life! This shop is awesome! Andy, the owner, was super kind and genuinely honest in helping me. I knew I needed a new battery and thought I needed my alternator looked at, but he assured me that it was just a battery issue. He took the time to explain the issue and made a few calls around to get a new battery delivered within 30 minutes. Check this place out if you want to work with an honest and efficient crew :)

I was unable to open my driver's door, kind of a problem I finally said maybe I need to take it to the Chico Tesla service center, Tory at AutoWorks agreed saying they were frustrated. Tory agreed to fully refund me my money, now two weeks later they are gosting me. I am super disappointed in their unprofessional behavior. I have been very understanding and patient inspite of having to bring my car in 6 times and leave it and make transportation arrangements. AutoWork advertises they are proficient in working on Tesla's, I would strongly disagree with that. Tesla in Chico was able to make the repair, it was not the door handle that was the problem.
