Most of the time you will have to hit the self checkout lines (because they don't have any cashiers working). This can be especially annoying when one of them is down and one is card only. You will be at the mercy of how quickly the rest of the customers can check out. Of course, when I went around noon on a Wednesday, most of the people using the self checkout have probably never used a computer. The 'register monitor' just kind of stood in the middle of the floor, refusing to assist in any way.
