Please steer clear of this agency. The recruiters are very unprofessional. Engage at your own risk. They promise you things and then ghost you. lol. Unreal. In a time when ppl are looking for Work they will fail you. read more

Well, I was really excited with these guys to begin with. The guy on the phone that called me back was really nice and it seemed like they had a great job offer for me. So we set up an interview and I actually had to reschedule other task going on that may have led to a job. I got there bright and early, even 15 minutes early to fill out all the paper work. The guy wasn't there! He booked me while he had off site meetings..... So after waiting 45 minutes the staff finally tells me this and that he won't be in. Fine, you guys have like 12 other agents running in and out of the front lobby, let another one take me. Like that really hot girl! No they won't! I have to come back in an hour or two and no one else can help me. What the shit is that!!!! I have other interviews to attend to. So I left after wasting like an hour filling everything out and getting helped by no one. 2 stars. read more

Now let me start off saying, I worked with Aerotek as a contractor years ago, and it was a great experience. Ahh but so much has changed. To start of my not so lovely experience, was my unresponsive recruiter. 1st, THEY FOUND ME on moster.com, I did not go looking for them. Wednesday he called me asking if I would be interested in a job "job title here" I said why not. Thursday afternoon I had the interview. I was told they wanted me to start Monday. Awesome. So I waited. And waited. And waited. No word from the headhunter, even left a couple messages. Finally after a week, I get ahold of his co-worker, and he tells me I got the job and they want me to start the next Monday. Where was MY recruiter you may ask? Well he decided to go on vacation the day of my interview and be gone a week! Didn't tell me, or the hiring company. Finally I start this job, he was supposed to meet me at 8, he shows up at 9 for me to fill out the paperwork. Except all he has is the "sign here" paperwork, not the paperwork to back it up. You know the stuff "sign here saying you received yadda yadda" well I never received the "yadda yadda". So I refused to sign, and he had the gall to be mad at me? 1 week later I finally received that paperwork. Few months later.... Still working here, I refer my friend for a job here, and the main company said that he would have to go through Aerotek, but they want him Monday. Thursday evening we call aerotek and set it up. Friday the same #$%^&* headhunter calls the boss and tried to put his own person in the position, because he loses the markup since we found him, and I get a "bonus" if he lasts 90 days. Didn't seem to care that we didn't want his guy. He didn't tell me that, but went to my boss. My boss was even upset. Now he tells me after 4 months of working here, that the Holiday pay and PTO I was supposed to get, I don't because I am hourly not salary? WTF? I warn all who are looking for work, find a better place to go through. And if you have no other options, make sure you get every last benefit in writing, and negotiate it all. And make sure you don't back down. read more

One lady from Aerotek called me in the afternoon and asked me if I am looking for a new job opportunity. I kindly asked her what kind of position am I being introduced and she didn't reply. She moved onto her next questions by asking me specific detail of job experiences I had in the past. I answered all of her questions kindly while my mind was frustrated with her that she has lack of communication skills which it make me started to think if she has business degree from college. The next thing she asked me was "if I ever worked for third party candidates." I didn't understood what she meant by third party because of her explanation is poor. I asked her kindly if she could be specific on the question and her behavior changed by telling me on the phone, I am not qualify for the position. As Aerotek shows, most of recruiters who works for the company doesn't have any knowledge based on any kind of positions. I'm a bit concerned if Aerotek can continue to practice job hunting while most of recruiters and account managers are are not aware of the field, what their clients are seeking to hire qualified candidates, and I find recruiters have lack of knowledge in the business field. I'm assuming they are outcast from professional business and they are not professional as they seem. I would rather find a job for myself by finding hiring ads on Craigslist or other career opportunity website. I can't trust the temp agencies who have same knowledge like Homer Simpson. read more

Was contacted by a very eager beaver junior recruiter about an exciting Project Management position for which I am perfectly qualified. I asked some basic questions about the contract, the pay, the term, reimbursable expenses, etc. He said he was stepping into a meeting and would call me back that afternoon with some answers. He did not call me back that afternoon. When he did call me back the next day, lamely apologizing, he was insisting on interviewing me in person. Before agreeing to a time consuming meeting, I again asked him for more details about the contract. Again he said he would speak to his "handler" and call me back. He did not call be back, instead cowardly sending a lame boiler plate email about their policy of not discussing any details prior to interview. Every other recruiter will. My reluctance to meet was also based on two prior experiences in Aerotek interviews that left me feeling like a anonymous number. The people in the office were very sophomoric, generally rude, and superficial. This eager beaver junior recruiter fits right in with this profile. Why would so many people take so much time to give them bad reviews here? Judging from all the long, single star reviews here, their hiring model, as well as their manners are clearly in question. After several encounters with their representatives, I have found them to be naïve, rude and very unprofessional. Attention employers: As a Project Manager who spends half my time vetting, hiring and managing subcontractors, Aerotek is not a recruiter I would hire, nor do would I ever want to work for them. Ignore their calls. Huge waste of time. read more

I am going to save you some time by starting with "DO NOT USE AEROTEK." My recruiters name was Sam, he was horrible. Not only does he not respond to messages he gave me incorrect information. I understand his job is to "sell" the position but misleading or even lying is no excuse. I usually never talk down or bad mouth people over the internet but this is an exception. Take the time and research what YOU really want to do for a living. If you leave it up to a recruiter or at least this recruiter they will place you nowhere rewarding. First off he told me an incorrect salary. He was off by nearly $20,000. After my first interview he never contacted me to inform me that the employer wanted a second interview. At the second interview i was informed that even the company could not properly get a hold of Sam. Long story short, DO NOT USE AEROTEK. read more

UPDATE:: Well this branch has moved up a notch into stalking!! Tonight at 7pm PST I get a call from someone with their caller ID blocked. This leads up to a voice mail also shown as "unknown". Getting curious I play the voice message with a friend of mine in the same room. Oddly enough the message begins, "Hi Raye this is Diana C...". It seems Aerotek has now allowed their employees to use applicants contact information for private purposes!! Not only did she try to call me but after the call I get a private message on Yelp from the same Aerotek staffer... its very scary that a staffing representative would stalk an applicant not only by phone w/blocking their contact number but also via a social media site as well. Her private message was as follows: " Hi Raye, Diana C. sent you a message on Yelp: Subject: RE: Aerotek Review "Raye, There was a lot more to your application/resume as to why I was unable to be a resource for you. You talked very poorly of each of your past employers. Also, I was not critiquing you, but providing you with interview tips so that you would get the job if you were to interview." " Now keep in mind as I mention in my original review of this branch the person in question did not at any time say my comments of my previous employers was negative or poor she actually insisted I consider the job and contact her back!!! Keeping in mind this is not the first time going through a temp agency! Anyone with common sense does not speak poorly of their former employers. You look for the good even as slim as it maybe... but you do not lie about why you left your former jobs either. In my interview with Diana the most 'poor' comments I made was comments on lack of job growth. But, as she said all my jobs.. she seems to conveniently neglect my praise for my co-workers, the teamwork, the time I took training others and the praises I had for my leadership abilities. Alot of stuff she managed to forget in way of making excuses for something that never happened in real life when we met. It seems odd they are trying to state one thing but in an interview did the opposite... Still I grow more concerned if they allow employees to use applicants private contact info for personal use... how far does this step into the realm or stalking or just plan harassment? Is my address safe.. am I safe... should I change my phone number... should I get the police involved? This is very nerve wracking as it was all done privately by one person... Sorry if this has some grammatical and sentence errors but I was pretty shaken up over this! I'm going to contact law enforcement tomorrow to see what my rights are for my personal safety. read more

There's so much good things I have to say about this employment agency! For starters, they have such great staff! My recruiter was Cassandra Ulloa, and she helped me find a contractor position with Genentech (So. San Francisco). (She also works really fast to find you position that you're fit for). And after 6 months of working at Genentech, They offered me a FTE regular position with them! Cassandra was so helpful with the initial interview stage, and even helped prepare me by doing a mock interview (which helped alot - since Genentech actually asked the same questions surprisingly lol). My point-of-contact during my Contractor employment period was Lindsey Deering & Dericka Pradt. They were both so extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and ALWAYS available whenever I had a question. I could always call them or email them, and they always got back to me same-day. Very good attention to clients. Regarding the process of working through Aerotek, it is very easy hiring process, and they offer medical benefits + dental & vision as well. They also have online statements for your tax stubs and W2, which is convenient. Also, they offer HSA, which I really liked. They are so awesome! If I ever look for a new job again, I'll definitely be coming back to Aerotek for assistance. :) read more

Got referred into the company by a mutual friend and was handed off to a recruiter on a Friday. Scheduled an appointment for the following Monday in the morning. I arrived 10 minutes early, which was fine, but I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment before I personally asked the front desk where my recruiter was; she returned saying that he was in a "short morning meeting." I waited another 10 minutes (note: 40 minutes after my appointment time) before I was told that my recruiter was gone and would not be returning for a couple hours. I met up with an alternate who knew nothing about me and didn't even have my resume on hand (I had an extra copy that we used). The alternate did apologize for the wait and that my recruiter was rushed out this morning, but the front desk could have given me a heads up when I checked in, or my recruiter could have written a quick reply to our email correspondence about his situation. I'm hoping that this rough beginning will smooth itself out. * Update: Besides the meeting described above, NO ONE followed up with me afterwards regarding potential employment. I ended up finding a job on my own which made my time investment into this company a complete waste. Absolutely terrible customer service and I would never recommend Aerotek to anyone wanting help with employment. read more

This was my second time dealing with Aerotek, the first time, I turned them down. Wish I had done so the second time. They were able to find me a Data Entry job with Tesla Motors (See upcoming review for THAT nightmare) despite me having worked there previously. According to one of the recruiters, who's name I will omit as it serves no purpose to name anyone here, I was somehow still eligible to work for Tesla, despite leaving, when I thought I had to wait 6 months. The waiting period was.. meh. They didn't even know that I didn't have my orientation, due to a lack of communication between recruiters. The real nightmare came after I was laid off by Tesla in under 4 hours - simply because I worked there before...? Despite me figuring out the way the role worked and applying myself to it rapidly - I have a background in data entry and analysis. I called my recruiter, and was told she would give me a call back. This was.. Wednesday of 3 weeks ago? I'm still waiting for anyone to get in touch with me at this office. I called EVERYONE there to see what was going on. They responded to emails just fine (with generic 'here is your pay' bs emails) but they didn't bother to return my call. At first, I held no blame to them. They made a mistake, and shyte happens. I blame them for not taking any responsibility for their actions when I made it clear that I was more than forgiving. Without getting too personal about it, they completely screwed up my last month in California. It would have been nice to have had made enough to handle my last responsibilities before going into the military. It would also be nice to be a rich man. But that isn't the way the world works, is it. read more

AeroTek I was without pay for 2 months and no support from my recruiter. It was contract job in SSF. Only her telling me she was sorry and they would not give me any type of assistance until X days lapsed and she would then send me a new check. Hence why it took two months for my first paycheck. To put this into context I didn't get my paycheck until two months later and 4 paychecks lapsed from that time. I was without two months pay. This is expected of SSF, Alameda, and Arizona offices. Do yourself a favor and try Robert Half or Kelly services. You might actually get a job. It wasn't until I left these recruiters I got a FTE position. Today: I still get calls from after I have continued to request that they delete my information. Only for them to call back every 90 days and request again that they remove my information. Seedy recruiters, sketchy phone calls, and unwanted aggresive advances. read more

I replied to ad on Careerbuilder.com and got a call back from a recruiter at Aerotex. I went in for an interview that afternoon and the recruiter sounded that I would be a great fit and that she was going to talk with the company that held the position. She said to resend my resume and that she was hoping to set up a phone interview between the company and me the next afternoon. I never heard back from her and it's been nearly 2 weeks since my initial conversation. read more

We Iraqis been working through Aerotek in Sugar Bowl factory in Hayward, CA for a while now. We lost a lot of the money we made through hard work and being in time anytime lost it to Aerotek. we are new in the United States and Aerotik used us and took from our salaries bigger share than they should. Refugees come the United States for refuge not to be used again as they were used before in their home countries. Shame on you Aerotek for taking advantage of strangers yet to be part of this great country. We just recently learned how to ride a bus in this country and the only way we know is the way to work for people like you who makes us regretting leaving our F??k country. read more

This agency although they try to conduct themselves very professionally, is very poorly administratively managed. I submit time cards to them for our contract employees, and yet they still pay them incorrectly. You try to "fix" the errors, and it takes months if it even gets resolved. I feel sorry for the employees who work under them, knowing that they might not be getting paid for the hours that they actually worked. I have been an administrative professional for over 13 years; and for those who truly care that employees are paid right - save yourself the trouble and do not work with this agency. Cutting our company ties with this agency; has been one of the best things I've did. read more

My recruiter was very fast with finding me a job. He is a great recruiter actually. He checks on me often and even sends me positions to tell my friends and family about. The problem I'm having is with payroll. They forgot to register my pay card TWO WEEKS in a row. and now my check is lost! and they cannot cancel my check they have to call corporate. and even it is approved I have to wait 10 business days to receive a new check all because their job was not done right from the beginning. Worst staffing agency I have ever dealt with! Pushy, unprofessional and downright rude. All they care about is getting their kick back at any cost. I have never dealt with such an arrogant person in my life. Please tell your headhunters that we are not 5 year olds and do not need to called and "told" to be professional and how to conduct ourselves in an interview. The god complex of the person I dealt with was over the top! I had even respectfully declined working with him after he spouted off and wanted proof of why I could not make an interview at the time he had scheduled. I was hounded by calls and emails for two days after the fact and felt like I was being stalked by a disgruntled ex! Stay far away from this place!!! read more

Addeline is the most unprofessional person in this place if you are looking for work ask for a different recruiter. I got hired for a job doing sanitation at Columbus salami it took her 2 weeks to even get back to me with a start date I had to repiditly call her and ask what was going on . Not to mention she wrote my phone number down wrong the first few times I gave it to her . After finally starting the job she dident inform me that I would have to undergo a physical so after working for a week I was told by the employer I could not come back until I got one mind you addeline did not tell me this once again I had to do the footwork and call and ask her about this . After doing the physical she told me she would get back to me later that evening on when I could start work again that was 3 weeks ago still have not heard from her I've left her message after message I am going to HR next so addy if you see this expect that as well! read more

I called this place on Monday and they told me to show up the next morning for a walk in interview. I showed up, filled out some paperwork, and then waited to talk to someone. The recruiter I dealt with was polite and professional. The only thing that irked me the recruiter appeared to have made up his mind on what types of jobs I could do. This was confirmed near the end of the interview when this person mentioned a few jobs that didn't even match my skill set. Other than that, this person seemed to be honest and sincere in what he was telling me. I guess I'll wait and see what happens when I attempt to do a followup call next week. read more

I was very hesitant with staffing companies. I worked with a couple agencies in socal and had terrible experiences. When I moved to the bay area, a friend of mine had recommended aerotek. I was very skeptical at first and initially said no. A couple months later one of the recruiters dianna, had found my profile on linkedin and reached out to me. When I spoke with her, i was very very hesitant about going in to an interview with her, but the position she talked about sounded interesting. I met with her and i have to say, it was THE BEST decision that i have made. dianna listened to exactly what i wanted and helped me get a job at NETFLIXX!!!! she edited my resume for me, gave me interview tips, basically SPOON FED me the job. i am now 3 weeks into my assignment and she still checks in with me and has taken me out to lunch. my current position is a contract to hire but if i was out of work, i would definitely work with her again read more
