Well, let me start with for some reason Adapt health didn't get my messages for around 2-3 weeks ..somehow it was dropped. But when I did reach someone they rectified it and got equipment out to me. Unfortunately , they told the driver the wrong equipment, but Tay Scott had my POC on his truck.Tay was so helpful and took care of my situation . Generally, I am not one to post negative comments about a service provider unless it is really bad. If you are in the Autin, TX area and using Hospice for a loved one, please try to make sure you do not work with a company called Aerocare for delivery, set up or pick up of equipment. They are terrible and the manager Ashley is as rude as they come. Last week they called wanting to pick up the equipment Hospice had provided because we had removed Dad from Hospice care. I was not made aware a pickup was occurring last week so I asked them to wait a few days until Friday, so I had time to order a bed for my Dad so he would have somewhere to sleep. On Friday, Aerocare was supposed to pick up the Hospice provided equipment. They supposedly called Dad's facility but did not ask for the person I directed them to for coordinating the pickup. So, they reached someone who was unaware of the situation and that was their excuse for not picking up the hospital bed, etc. on Friday. On Saturday, furniture delivery group shows up and cannot put Dad's new bed together because Aerocare has not picked up the Hospice equipment and there is not enough room to have two beds up in the apartment. Today, Aerocare calls me all upset because they have equipment out there no one is paying for, and I reminded Ashley they were supposed to pick it up on Friday. So, Ashley gets all rude and tells me she is done talking to me and she is done being nice about it. At that point, I told her to stop calling me then and work with Hospice to pick up the equipment and that I would make certain when we need Hospice again, we will not be working with their company. I also assured her I would be reaching out to her boss about the how the entire situation has been handled when she refused to provide me her manager's contact information, telling me she is the manager. These have to be the most inept and mistake prone folks I have ever dealt with. Their customer care (in my opinion) does not even rate a 1 out of 10. I have finally given up, paid a bill I didn't owe and wrote it off to a bad experience I will learn from. They bill improperly, don't credit payments correctly and when you try to talk with them, putting the language barrier aside, they don't really care. I can buy my supplies on Amazon, same exact products, for almost half of what they charge, even after insurance. Wish I had known that before, but now I do! If you do business with them, write down everything, keep good records and still be prepared for long hold times, and very poor customer service once someone actually picks up. If I could leave no stars I would. This goes out for the billing department. I've had my CPAP since 2023. And after one year of renting it is supposed to be paid for and yours. This is 2025 and they are still billing me for rental services. I was told that my insurance did not pay for some of the monthly rental fees in 24 and that's why I was getting billed in 25. I don't think so. Come to find out, they didn't even bill my insurance for some of the monthly rental so now they are trying to rebill and of course the timely filing is too late and they want to bill me. Why should I pay for your incompetence? The only thing I should be charge for is when I reorder supplies. Sooooo done with these people. And they better not think about reporting the unpaid bill to my credit. There will be consequences. read more

This week I had my second successful encounter with with one of their technicians, John. He delivered my portable oxygen concentrator to the hospital so I could go home. He went above and beyond by fully orienting us on this new equipment. When he asked if their was. anything else he could do,I told him about lthe part I needed to make the humidifier bottle on my large unit fully functional. I went from a 1-star to a 5-star because this issue is the CEO's lack of a reality check on how crappy his process is between automation, human interaction, and the poor people at the local office who have to deal with our frustration. The automated gatekeeper is corporate and it is horrific. My Dr. sent the prescription in July 5th and I finally was assisted on July 27th. The issue is that between Corp and Austin, I did not exist. After my 5th call, we started to roll. The corporate rep was awesome, she followed up perfectly and changed locations for me to visit. I ended up in Hutto and was greeted promptly by Anthony, who answered all my questions and worked through my C-PAP mask question etc. I walked out in the business and thoroughly enjoyed the appointment. They give you a date to pick up and drop off equipment, but not a time. Patient must wait at house ALL day. Three weeks ago they were supposed to pick up an overnight test and equipment, but never showed up. They came the next day causing me to waste a day. They are supposed to be here today for equipment. When???? I called this morning and they said they will call with a time. No call. There services are so poorly communicated and it feels like every task was the first time they ever tried it. read more

Went to pick up my CPAP machine and for training. Training was NOT good. Trainer never mentioned that the machine needs an SD card. So when I start the machine I get a message that I don't have one. No one available to help on the weekend so don't take training on a Friday. Spoke with someone nice today who said she would send me one. Then she went to set me up for supplies and wrong face mask was on my record. Also the trainer never showed me the correct way to put on my mask. He had difficulty fitting my mask so he called in a trainer who showed me the right way to put it on. Getting a CPAP machine is stressful enough without the above problems. Somone is coming out to help me with mask fitting on Wednesday. But either training is not sufficient or the trainer was not well prepared for this role. I asked to speak with a 'manager' but no call yet. Very disappointed with this experience. read more

I was very scared to get fitted for a cpap yesterday. Anthony was the tech and he seemed very knowledgeable about what type of mask to use for me and its comfort. It was wonderful to have a person who actually cared. I recommend Aerocare highly because of Anthony. read more

WORST Customer Service EVER!! Start to finish, no matter what you need, you aren't going to get it there! They can't be reached through the local supplier - just through a 1-800 number, which is in another country. On hold, hang ups, delays, people can't answer simple questions, etc. IF by a miracle, you ever get to talk to someone locally (in my case Hutto TX location), the customer service is not better. Long story, but I'm actually taking back and giving up my cpap machine for my sleep apnea largely because of this horrible, unprofessional, unacceptable customer service. Life's too short to continually have to deal with this aggravation. I'd rather suffer from insomnia than deal with these people! read more

You'll have a 50/50 chance they'll even call you back. They never did what they promised and always had some excuse which was untrue. They honestly don't care about their customers at all. I am a new Aero-Care customer. I have a serious case of sleep apnea, I need Aero Care to supply me with my ResMed Air Curve 10 BIPAP machine and the necessary face masks, air-cushions, air-hoses, air-filters and head straps needed to hold my face mask in place. With the availability of these ResMed supplies, I experience less than 1 apnea episode per hour. However, without these necessary supplies, I experience over 40 apnea episodes per hour. My problem with Aero-care is... I have called Aero-Care a 1/2 dozen times. Each time a machine answers the phone and I must then wait 30 to 45 minutes to get a human on the phone to assist me with my equipment order. Once that a Aero agent answers the phone, I find the Aero-Care agent to be very helpful and courteous. But to keep my business Aero-Care is going to have to answer their phone and deal with my questions more efficiently. On handling their business, I rate Aero-Care with a "9" On answering and handling their telephone calls, I rate Aero-Care a "zero and one half". This communication deficiency (score) can be fixed if only Aero-Care would put more effort (labor) into answering customers calls within two (2) minuets. How about, if Aero-Care would just collect a customers telephone number and promise to call them back within fifteen (15) minuets. So far, NOT impressed. Their goal is to provide "exceptional customer service" as stated on their voicemail. If they deal with all potential and current customers the way they have dealt with me, they will be out of business soon. They never return calls and won't communicate with insurance (or customer) if "something is missing". Once it got fixed, rep didn't work the order. It sat on her desk until I called back. My health plan approved the DME after Thanksgiving for my husband and Aerocare ordered the specialized equipment. It's on backorder. No idea when it will come in. I call again after the Christmas break on Wed Jan 2. Bed is in but held it because they said they needed additional approval.??? Ummm you ordered it so you MUST have had approval prior. Right? Their rep just didn't get it. Approval. Order. Deliver. Not that difficult. Rep said she has OTHER customers. Really? That's how you do business? I called my insurance company and get it straightened out. I'm approved. Nothing else needed as I suspected. They call Aerocare Friday morning. I don't hear from either party. I call again today to insurance, Mon Jan 7 and they call the company while I'm on hold. Aerocare has given the special order bed to someone else even though my insurance company cleared it on Friday. Gave the bed away. In less than 48 hours. My husband is in pain because he has to sleep most of the time in his chair bc the hospital bed we currently have isn't the right kind. Unacceptable. Unprofessional. Unforgivable. I've been trying to get this specialized bed since his discharge on Nov 12. UPDATE: 1/8 I received a call yesterday at 5p from the rep stating she was sorry and calling to their sister locations to find a bed. She was to call me with an update before lunch. Nada. My social worker had to contact a supervisor at the company. Bed is supposedly ordered again with a 5-10 business day delivery. Again. We shall see. Stay away from this company! read more

We were in a pickle as my husbands CPAP machine just stopped working. We called our current provider & I could go on & on about the horrible service but NOT at Aerocare. We called them and made an appt for the next morning. We arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff and explained your problem. Ashly immediately gave us the info we needed and told us she would get us a loaner machine if we could get our prescription from our doctor. We returned later in the day and were given the new machine. She explained the machine and assured us she would get all the info needed from our insurance to get the machine we wanted. She put our minds totally at ease. This is the type of customer service we wanted... I highly recommend this office to anyone. read more

I have been trying to re-order CPAP supplies for my husband since January and nothing has arrived yet. I have been calling every 2 or 3 weeks and I'm always given a different answer. Last week I called and they said we should have it by the middle of this week. I called today and they said that his order was cancelled in the middle of February. If I could give 0 stars I would...worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I am at the end of my rope with AreoCare. I have been rescheduled 4 times now for my CPAP machine that was ordered by my neurologist back in August of 2022. Every time I am scheduled Areocare calls 15 minutes before they close the day before my appointment to reschedule. Today I had a appointment for 2PM, upon arrival I was told that I was not on the schedule, then I was told they tried to call me to reschedule for a 4th time, which they did not. Then I was told the machine had been on back order for months then told that they had the machine but it was taken by another store. I have rescheduled my neurology appointment now 2 times because of the horrible customer service your company provides. Not to mention moving work commitments around for each scheduled appointment and time off work for this appointment. 3 months later and no CPAP machine still. Your chances of dying from your condition first before you actually get your machine are better odds. I will be calling my neurologist today to advise of this horrible service and request that he sends me and all other patients of his to any other company but this one. read more

Last night strap to CPAP broke and had no back-up. Went to Hutto Aero Care and got replacement parts. For a back-up they solved the issue but went the extra mile to get me what I needed and kept it within the insurance coverage. Loved their attitude! read more

There are frustrations with aging, and caregiving, and their responses to my inquiries were clear, concise, professional, service-oriented and empathetic.
