My previous review was removed by yelp. Should I send you my receipt?…read more TLTR: Bough a phone, returned a phone with in a week nothing wrong, was told I had to FAX my id to unknown phone number because I had been flagged for something. I can't remember what they called it. My review dissipated for some reason. Yelp I'll be happy to email you my receipt to clear doubts.

It's not like i had even WANTED an iPhone prior to this, quite the opposite in fact. What made me change my mind? The man who helped me, Cesar, basically sold me on the phone by finding a way to cut 40 dollars off my monthly bill while still keeping all the features i had before! You had to have a smart phone to qualify- up until this point none of my phones had been smarter than me- and being a mac user, it seemed like the logical choice! I was pretty impressed with the service because he called Telus twice for me to ask questions i had about my new plan features and what they included. It isn't a Telus store so i don't expect them to know all the ins and outs of every single detail of Telus' contracts, so i was happy that he actually called to ask instead of bullshitting an answer just to quickly sell me a phone. He also showed me a lot of handy features and showed me applications i could download to even further cut my bill down by making calls through a wireless router! I'm assuming they make most of their money by selling phones and getting a commission for signing people up with Telus, so they certainly had no qualms about showing me how to save a bunch on my month to month bill! Also, this is the first time my phone hasn't been screwed up after activation. I'm pretty sure I have a ranty Telus review on here somewhere because in the past it has taken me more than one visit to an actual Telus store to get my phone working properly! For the first time ever, I had no problems with my phone after it was activated when i came here!

When I was able to reach out to them (waited on hold on the phone and on the chat for over 6 hours ) Angelica from the chat customer service told me that the price they guaranteed does not include the rental fee and they can't change the price back to the original price they promise I will have for 2 years . I will change to Telus even if I have to pay a penalty . BE AWARE of those crooks , they using misleading tactics to get you to sign up

Every two years, I renew our ValuePlan to keep the discount. I don't mind being locked into a contract as I'm not one of those nutjobs who switches providers every 3 months because another company is giving away a 200 inch TV to new customers. A couple months ago Shaw launched their mobile network, which offers $0 talk and text plans to customers with an internet subscription. That was incredible to me as no other vendor provides this. I don't use my phone much but I do need to carry one for work, so it's nice to have this financial burden alleviated. The staff at this location are really nice and helped me set up the service with my own device. In fact, you can have up to 10 lines for $0 with each internet plan! So if I ever make a friend or fall in love, I can hook them up with a talk/text plan at no cost also.

I recently visited Vancouver with family and wanted to avoid the hassle and potential high costs…read morewith international plan with ATT so I decided to look into renting portable WIFI hotspots. Since I am a techie myself I researched many different companies offering this service. I ended up with WIFICube because it was the easiest to deal with in terms of being able to pick up and drop off directly at the Vancouver airport with a kiosk versus dealing with paying for shipping and waiting for the device to arrive at our residence prior to the trip and then mailing it back after the trip. The whole process was pretty painless, except for this. I purchased the Canada PLUS plan for unlimited data for 6 days. When I got the hotspot device from the airport, I noticed that it shows 10GB limit and was on ROGERS network. I figured maybe the limit is a soft limit, and once we have reached the 10GB it might throttle our speed down to a slower speed or something. I read the disclosure about data limits and no where did it indicate a CAP or limit for data usage, but 4 days into my trip we had hit 10GB/10GB and that's where the problem hit. The connection stopped working altogether. The hotspot itself still on and working, our devices still connect to it via WIFI, but the Internet connection from the hotspot to ROGERS stopped completely. I finally drove by a Starbucks so that I can email the WIFICube support about the problem. Never got a reply while we were still in Vancouver. That was a week ago, still not a peep from the company about my question to them why it was NOT UNLIMITED as advertised. Hence this bad review ... if you don't expect to hit the 10GB limit with the Unlimited Plan, it will be fine for you, but otherwise, prepare for the worst. Very disappointed about their false advertising.

I'll change the rating if they reply back and solve the problem. ------- Update: DAVID was able to come all the way to DT and help to reset the device! I really appreciate the help. I would suggest you guys to have some kind of instant message platform for customer service. Customers would get a much faster support. Thanks to David again!
