We waited a while to send our dogs back here for grooming, I know, we were burned in the past…read more(twice), but the store is five minutes away, so we gave them one more chance for convenience's sake. We had booked their appointment weeks ago. They sent text confirmations, and emails asking that we give them plenty of notice if we have to cancel. I certainly understand that. They called YESTERDAY to make sure we'd be there (yes, we will). So today, 35 minutes before our appointment time, I was told their appointment was CANCELED BY THEM because of lack of groomers (one called in sick). I asked if another groomer could take them, no, they were booked. Can they revise the schedule a bit? No, they didn't "feel comfortable" doing that (unless I just wanted just baths - no, I can do that at home). Can they accommodate us in any way at all??? NO, they kept repeating that a groomer was out. This was from a so-called MANAGER, BTW. I accept some responsibility for this for being naive enough to think they'd offer better service (maybe they improved?), but no they have not. I honestly don't understand how they stay in business. Well, maybe it's the exorbitantly high prices they charge on products. I wish I could give zero stars. To be treated this way repeatedly is unacceptable.

I'm always surprised on each visit; it's like I'm finding a new little nook or cranny that holds something cool for Frecklesberg McWolfington to destroy with them big dog teeth in his little dog mouth. Check out their shopper program, too, there are giveaways and sponsored items at a discount, things like that. I mean, really, what are ya waiting for? No pet? He does my 12 yr old standard poodle perfectly after a long list of awful groomers. He also does my 1 1/2 yr old Pomsky . I sat by the phone waiting for for is call to say he couldn't do it. Tommy dealt with any issues and he has been back without problems. Both dogs look beautiful after grooming. Highly recommend this Petsmart for all ur needs. Covington is good for supplies. Staff knowledgeable. I have not used their groomer .
