Customer service sucks. Went to buy a cat tree for our crew. Could not get anyone to help us.

Dog Academy

I was looking online for in-person training for my puppy, came across several I wanted to check…read moreout. Dog Academy called back immediately with high pressure sales tactics and I signed up for the lifetime service at $1795. The trainer canceled the first session an hour before and it's been difficult to reschedule. I decided to cancel the service after reading numerous bad reviews on BBB. When I called and used the #5 prompt I was on hold for 15 min. I hung up called back using the #2 prompt to schedule more training. It was answered on the first ring. I told them I wanted to cancel, was put on hold and transferred. Waited a few minutes until a representative answered. Of course they tried to talk me into keeping the training, I said no and was told it had to be escalated and I would hear back in 24 hours. We shall see, they took my money instantly but my refund is not instant.

Definitely feels like I got scammed for their lifetime training service. To start, they said they…read morehad hundreds of trainers in my area but once I signed up, there was only 2. I was tols the trainers would work around my schedule, also false. They give you times & days they can show. I have a very specific thing I'd like my dog trained out of ( not the normal stuff you'd see in most dogs) and was told that wouldn't be an issue, but since having them, the trainer just doesn't seem to be that advanced. She is a nice lady and all but not the training I was looking for. Their prices are what mainly get you, for $1400/life compared to $2000+ for a course seems worth it, but it isn't. They only give 1hr sessions twice a week but your the one mainly doing all the work. I was under the impression (as they made it seem) that they would work solely with the dog, become aware of the issue and correct it and then slowly give you the lead on correcting it, 100% NOT the case. My dog had become extremely attached to my ex-girlfriend while we were together, and even after 1yr later, he has completely shutdown on going for walks and some other activities. Things he was never scared of before, scare him now. The trainer they have assigned to me is taking an approach like a normal case of fear but almost nothing is working. The worst part is that you can't cancel & get a refund. If you try to cancel, they switch your lifetime over to individual pricing and charge you per session, which is like $200ea making it far more costly then just keeping the lifetime service. The trainer should be able to come get your dog and be them 2 without you to learn the difficulty of what is happeningz figure out a solution, begin to train them out of it and then proceed to teach you what they are doing. Instead the trainer has you do most of the stuff but in my case, is not 100% what is going on. My dog use to be extremely confident in anything and loved walks no matter what, but now the sllightest popping noise to rain, he doesn't want to walk. I brought up its broken heart syndrome but they & other trainers I've spoken to don't believe it is. He is most of the time confident in going to the dog park but thats about it. I've tried all the normal things on my own but nothing goes through to walking. I'm at a loss on both quality of life with my dog and money from paying dog academy. I have 2 other dogs that do NOT show this behavior what so ever and they are also loosing quality of life by not being able to go on walks because my 1 just shuts down. I seriously need help

Last year during Christmas travels Blondie stayed and got sick from anxiety and they cared for her and treated her and when we returned she was happy and healthy and she is always happy to see us, but runs back to the staff for love before she leaves. She has been in multiple times for baths and nail trimming and always comes back pretty and primmed. Highly recommended!

Extremely Disappointed - Do Better for the Animals!…read more I'm heartbroken and furious about the treatment my dogs received at Pet Suites in Covington. I paid for day play for three days, and they didn't receive it. Malibu was supposed to be given medication in capsule form--he needed two every 12 hours--but only one was missing from the bottle when I picked them up. That's completely unacceptable. Even worse, when I brought them home, their urine was extremely dark and acidic, a clear sign they were not properly hydrated. It's horrifying to think they were left with little to no water in their kennels. I was told that Finn, my German Shepherd, was "vocal." He's a dog--of course he needs engagement and playtime, especially since I paid extra for that very thing. It's beyond frustrating to think he was ignored or punished for simply being a dog. What's most upsetting is the lack of professionalism. Everyone I spoke to seemed young, untrained, and completely overwhelmed. It's obvious the business is being run by people who either aren't qualified or simply don't care. My pets are family, and they deserve to be treated as such--not neglected and mistreated. Please, if you're considering this place--do your homework. Check the cameras, ask questions (and pay attention to how inconsistent the answers are), and trust your gut. My babies can't speak, so I'm speaking up for them. No animal should go through what they went through. Also not to mention they kept stating they were "short staffed" which is why every dog got let out but my two. DO NOT DO IT!! I wish I could not leave a rating or give an option to shut it down. I posted on Nextdoor my experience and oh MY did people have some things to say about them. Next up is getting ahold of city hall and corporate.

Erin is just absolutely great with all animals- big or small. She gives each and every one of them the love and attention they need and deserve. And as an animal lover, I couldn't be happier with her services. Now, Peace of Mind Pet Sitting is the first place I recommend to friends and family whenever they ask about a good quality pet sitter.

Peace of Mind is bonded and insured. Ms. Creel is the proprietor and a Registered Veterinary Technician. She offers a couple of levels of service, visiting the house as needed or even sleeping over to care for pets. Ms. Creel met us at the house. She provide references and proof of insurance. We worked through a checklist of the dog's needs and habits. She then spent time with the dog. We agreed on a twice a day schedule to visit the house which included a substantial walk every evening. She also agreed to pick up the newspaper, mail and water a few plants. While we were away, Ms. Creel took great care of our shedding monster. She texted us regularly with updates, and left a running series of notes on how the day went. We have used Ms. Creel 3X in the past year and hope to continue using her. It is about twice the cost of boarding the dog which is well worth the peace of mind (no pun intended). I strongly recommend Peace of Mind and Ms. Creel. The level of care your baby will receive is unmatched. If you are looking for the best board certified veterinary surgeon in Louisiana, look no further, you've found the right place. My dog had a TPLO performed about 6 weeks ago at Resurge and he's now going to rehab with them. He is doing fantastic. **Just a word of caution: If you're considering surgery at a teaching hospital (like LSU), be aware that in most cases, your pet will be operated on by a resident rather than a board-certified veterinary surgeon. While hands-on experience is essential for training, I personally would not feel comfortable with my pet being used as a learning case. Despite being a teaching facility, the cost is often higher than at private specialty practices.**

My primary vet here in Mississippi recommended Dr.Ladato to me and I have been blown away with how amazing me and my fur baby were treated. I would drive the hour and 45 minutes any day. After the procedure comet stayed on the ICU for two days and each day they called me and updated me and sent me pictures. I text them and they're always so quick to respond to my questions. They reassure my worries, and they're always so friendly. Not to mention they have military discount which took 400 dollars off of the procedure. You can truly tell they care about the animals. I recommend Resurge a million times over.
