They were great getting to the 95% mark, but made it very difficult to get to that 100% completion point.

My ability to pay online was terminated over an issue with my roommate's account. I was never notified that it was terminated and when I logged in to pay rent, surprise I can no longer pay online. Instead of being helpful and fixing the issue like she had the ability to do, my property manager threatened me with late fees if I did not drop off a certified check with only several hours notice. She was also extremely unresponsive to maintenance requests. I was told that wires coming down in the yard and tearing siding off the house was "beyond a normal maintenance request" and I would need to get the problem fixed myself. If the roof fell in would that be beyond a normal request and on me to fix?! Oh and she also tried to schedule the walk through several days before my move out date and before I had the place professionally cleaned. I got her to change the date but it didn't really matter because she charged me for having the place cleaned again anyways! Oh well, at this point I was already so over Silver River and their ridiculous antics. I am so relieved to be moved out of their property and into a rental where I am actually communicated with and treated with respect. I would not recommend moving into any of their properties under any circumstances, they do not have the tenant's best interest in mind, clearly they are just trying to make a buck for the property owners.

However, when I arrived to the unit with my son and his friend to celebrate his 12th birthday weekend, I was shocked that the unit they put me in was NOT the same unit. The unit that I was placed in was significantly smaller in the living spaces and only had 1 bathroom instead of 2 in the original listing. When I contacted the owner, the response was essentially "Oh yeah, there was an issue with the other unit, enjoy this one instead." Despite the back and forth we'd been having earlier, they never once indicated any issues with the unit I had booked and they never actually updated or modified my booking to reflect the lower price or reality. The unit that I did stay in still shows up on Airbnb as 'never booked' but based on the dirtiness, I find that hard to believe and it makes me wonder if there is a scam at play. They gave me $98.99 refund --after I made a stink--which did not even cover the cost differential between the two listed locations and certainly did not compensate or make up for their blatant dishonesty. I would be VERY CAUTIOUS before renting any unit from this host/owner.

They are more interested in taking money than making sure there is a good tenant- landlord match. They didn't properly handle repairs. They didn't follow my instructions or requests. They weren't fair or reasonable. They bully everyone. Will blame you or the tenant for things they're responsible for. They just want to collect your money and not do any work. They are deceptive in their practices. And they are vindictive and petty.
