This review is a bit lengthy, but I genuinely love this office environment and hope this review can attract more awesome tenants that can join in the future. First off, the customer service I have received at this location is the best I've ever experienced (in comparison to other large organizations that lease out their work space). The transition from the logistics of forming a leasing contract, to the actual move-in date was quick, smooth, and efficient. The property manager (Mike) was kind, attentive, and offered me a more than reasonable leasing agreement for my business. When I actually moved into my office, the Community Manager and Community Associate actually helped me moved my furniture and wall art into my new office. They were kind, patient, and very supportive of my move.The Community Manager offered me customer service support (greeting my patients, bringing them to my office, offering coffee and beverages, helping me with printer and office logistics). I generally don't have to ask for support for anything because the customer service team here is attentive and actively looks for ways to help tenants! That's quality servant leadership right there. Second, let's dive into the office amenities. Unlimited coffee, printing and fax capabilities, vending machine, full kitchen (with dishwasher), a spacious nicely decorated waiting area with a nice window view and multiple seating arrangements for patients, administrative and customer service support for my patients. It really is a top-tier quality office environment. Finally, let's get into the suite space/work environment. I love the eclecticism of the suite space as a whole. It's designed for both introverts and extroverts and covers all the bases in terms of social preferences. The community area is spacious and can easily host up to 6 socially distant people. It's intentionally designed to foster a social/warm-friendly environment, with couch chairs in a circular formation. There are also separate desks and tables in the community area that tenants can use to get work done, if they want a temporary change of scenery to get work done. The private offices are also reasonably positioned in hallways leading away from the community area, so you can get an eclectic blend of communal gatherings and quiet. private space for getting work done all day. Here are the pros and cons as I see them: Pros: -Easy/no hassle. A lot of these short-term/flex office programs (and I've probably used a dozen around the world for various small business needs) are a pain in the butt. They have hidden charges, nickel-and-dime you for little things, and are often difficult to join and harder to quit. OSI was very simple to join. Some paperwork was required, but nothing unexpected, and I have successfully used the address as my business address for 5 years without any real problems. -Location. If you're actually in DC, the location is hard to beat. (I now have a permanent office at a "fancier" building on Pennsylvania Avenue, but I still prefer to keep the K Street address and it's not a chore to hop up there once a week or two to grab mail.) -Conference rooms. There are two conference rooms and a dozen or more day offices that are easy to reserve. -Communication. Unlike some of the national/global companies, where you can call up and get a random person answering the phone, this is a small single-floor operation with the same folks running it, so you know who you're talking to. Cons: -Style. I will say that the management has put a lot into making the place nicer and more aesthetically appealing, but it's not a fancy-looking place. This is great for solo lawyers or therapists, but if you have a lot of high-value client contact, you probably won't wow anyone if this is your sole/permanent office. It feels like a doctor's office, not a white shoe law firm (whereas my other building, where I started with virtual only and I now have a full office, "feels" fancier and more impressive). -Lots of clients. This isn't a bad thing, and obviously you want the security of knowing that OSI isn't going to go bankrupt, but when I used to use the conference rooms here, there were some days when everything would be booked up or when it was generally crowded. Some of the clients also had "unexpected" business guests -- I think there were at least a couple of temp agencies with offices there, but then all of their temp workers would come to pick up paychecks, etc., and fill up the shared waiting area. Not sure that this still happens, but it was one of the factors that motivated me to seek a more permanent office in a nicer building. Overall an excellent place to do business and get started. Lots of folks use the space. A surprising number of Supreme Court amicus briefs will have some lawyer or other with "1629 K St NW, Ste 300" as the listed address, and I chuckle every time I see it.

Their current space is in the Westfield Wheaton South building right outside of Wheaton mall. A small office that sits on the top level with desks for 4 and a large table for anyone who wants to come for co working space. The internet is fast and reliable. Shala is the founder and works in an office right next door. Tiffany, Ryan, Michael, and Christy are the wonderful co-workers that fill the desks in this petite space. They are all friendly, ambitious, and courteous young professionals that respect the fact that you are there to work, but also the fact that you are there for good company. In March Creative Colony moves to the World Building in Silver Spring where they will host a larger space for professionals like myself. Custom phone booths are being built for private phone calls. Office space will be rented at different levels based on need. Conference space will be available as well. All too nurture young creative collaboration. I can't wait to see the new space and continue to utilize this niche service that the young professionals are finding more and more useful.
