Where to begin!?! Let's start with the lack of professionalism just trying to communicate with the…read more"Owner " Leslie. He doesn't respond to Calls /Text / DMs when trying to communicate and verify details regarding contracting and the venue. We were hosting an event for my partners 40th Birthday on Saturday 6/3/2023.. Per the contract we were able to access the space 1 hour prior to the event. We got to the space. The space has no working air conditioning, the space was so filthy, and the bathrooms were not in working order. Leslie blames it on a water main break in the area. THERE WAS NOT A WATER MAIN BREAK IN THE AREA!!!! Just based of how disgusting the venue was I wanted to cancel the event, but we had 100 friends and family members coming from out of town and would not be able to find a venue within the hour to hold that many people. We booked the 2nd floor. There are no windows that open. The space was so hot, in Leslie's attempts clean he poured fabuloso all over the floor and plugins in the walls and lit candles not one window opens to air the space out. The floors had mouse or rat droppings, trash, food and bugs everywhere. My family and i swept , picked up trash from prior events , moved furniture ourselves in order to get the venue in semi decent shape to welcome our family. We had to go to Walmart and purchase many fans in order to have circulating air in the room . Upon requesting the air to be turned on Leslie's constant response was he was going to call maintenance There was no maintenance and no air. The Bathrooms- Per Leslie they were not working due to a water main break which was a lie. He proceeds to tell us he will have a bathroom attendant to pour water in the toilet after each guest uses it. This is disgusting but at this point we don't have too many options He brings in gallons of water to the bathroom. WE NEVER HAD A BATHROOM ATTENDANT. Please whatever you do avoid this business at all costs. The pictures on the website and social media are very deceiving. Ther customer service is nonexistent. My next stop is the Better business bureau. He can't keep doing this to people.

First time was in 2022 summer time, there was no AC working and we were told it will be fixed by the time our party was starting that something "blew" during an earlier function, well, our evening party started and ended and ther was still no AC. 2023 was a different story, we spoke, and he stated that all was well, as a matter of fact he fixed things etc so, we booked it again..and it was a NIGHTMARE! The AC issue was even worse, by the time we were setting up we saw nothing but fruit fly infestation, we went to buy what we could use to atleast clean the area, and by the food set up area was trash from days/earlier functions hidden in the back, rotten stuff smeeling and Mice running around. I was disgusetd ufortunately too late to cancel, we bought multiple fans to use for our event (Owner had no decency to even purchase fans). He was there going in and out without a solution. I was let down by this establishment and i vowed NEVER to use him again even if it was free.

There was constant noise from people chatting and coming and going w/ the lobby desk and elevators next door. You're better off at Panera Bread across the street with faster wi-fi. The Internet guest log-in lagged so slowly that I thought it was broken. After it got going, it got faster. There aren't proper height desks in the room either. They're very low to the ground and you have to hunch at your laptop to type. There's also construction next to the building that makes it hard to navigate to and through the building. (Some of the construction was also in the lobby.) I honestly wasn't sure if it was still open in Covid times. Overall, bad working experience. The only good thing was being around new people, but it made me concerned when two of them chatted about recovering from being sick. Uh, ok, let me not touch anything either.

I also like the kitchen area that provides a casual working space if you ever get cooped up in your office. For meetings, there are a few conference rooms of various sizes available. I don't always plan ahead and when I'm in a bind they always find a space for us to have meetings. The space has all the amenities you will need as a small business owner. It's got a nice waiting area and someone to greet your guests, a nice laser printer and a convenient location. Shout out to manager Sarah, who keeps the place running smoothly always. I highly recommend this shared workspace.

Working from home is great but there are times when "home" distractions get in the way. Whether it is, children, taking the dog out, putting another load in the laundry, answering the phone, outside noise and distractions, etc. You need a place where there is peace and quiet and sometimes other professional like-minded people to bounce ideas off of. Dream Village is your own personal "office" when you need it. A place you can utilize as an office without actually dressing up and going to your office. For a monthly fee you have access to WiFi, printer/copier, a conference room with a huge white board & TV, a kitchen with a Keurig & TV, the Vibe room which is a more private intimate-setting meeting room with a white board, a privacy phone room, gender neutral bathroom, and more, all in one place!!! As you can see by the pictures, Dream Village is modern, cozy and hooked up for business work. Excellent for people who are self-employed like myself. Large companies sometimes use "shared office space" for their off site meetings as well. It's open 24/7, so pick the hours YOU want to work. www.dreamvillage.com
