They failed to give proper 30-day notice, and we are still waiting for a refund after moving out. Whoever owns this truly doesn't understand the storage market in Lucas, TX. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Way better family-owned operations nearby.

Last weekend, there was an ice storm, and places were shut down for days. I couldn't remove my…read morebelongings from the facility. I moved them out today, the 6th, and they won't prorate the month. This seems a bit unfair. I have been with them for 5 years or more, enduring numerous price hikes. I was told that if I had called and informed them I was leaving, they would have prorated it. What's the difference? That was never said to me in the beginning. I appreciate the convenience of the place, but some of the staff in the past have been extremely rude. Not today, but I think the prorating policy is so wrong. It's the first week of the month, and things were closed most of the time due to the weather. It was just disappointing!

Large and great RV storage lot with lots of covered and uncovered space…read more Good-sized spaces with a LOT of room in front of each, so VERY easy to back in. They sell propane, and have a good dump station with a hose, and also have a free tire air pump. The security is much better than many lots, with an 8' solid fence all around, and a passcode required to get thru the gates -- in and out. (There are a few of the outdoor spaces that are muddy in a rainy time, but 95% of them are high and dry. I asked to change spaces due to mud, and the onsite staff was very helpful.)

A month ago I had gone up there with my mom (who at the time just had a knee operation and could hardly walk) to get the key to the lock they had put on our storage so we could replace it with our own. My mom stayed in the truck while I went into the office to ask for the key and Miss Kim gave me the rudest attitude when I stated that I had come inside for my mother who can barely walk to get the key but she didn't want to hear it she yelled at me that my mom had to come inside. And then just this past Sunday my mother, sister, fiancé, and I all go to empty out her unit (to move her to a MUCH MUCH BETTER ONE), but we had to call and get another lock taken off our unit and Miss Kim was there AGAIN. My mom had called 30min prior to being there and told her that she was going to be there a few mins before 5pm and Kim told her that she was NOT going to stay 1 minute past 5pm because she had things to do after work. When my fiancé and I arrived at 5:07pm she was still there! And my mom had left to go get water for us around 6:30-7pm she was still there!!My mother has been a customer for 11 years and has put up with an outrageous rent increase and rude employees. Do better cubesmart.

If you're looking for a dedicated wine storage facility, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My…read moreexperience was disappointing from the start. The monthly pricing seemed to change every couple of months, and the locker sizes are awkward and not particularly well suited for storing wine. Access is another major issue. Getting in and out of the facility is cumbersome, especially when you're carrying multiple bottles or cases of wine. Overall, the wine storage area feels like an afterthought rather than something that was intentionally designed and properly managed for wine collectors. The tasting room was also disappointing. While you're shown a tasting room, members apparently don't have access to actually use it, and the overall setup is strange and not very inviting. For a facility specifically offering wine storage, I expected much better attention to the practical needs of wine collectors.

We rented 2 storage rooms here. One for 2 years and a second one for 3 years. The positive is that…read moreit is very clean. And seems very secure with gated entry and cameras inside every hallway. The reason got that 3 star is that they increased our rent every few months. It got to the point where rent was more expensive than my first mortgage! If you need very short term storage, this place is fine because they give you a cheap teaser rent rate to start. Then they start jacking up the price every chance they get! I just think there are less expensive better value storage places with the same level of security and cleanliness. We left when they gave us yet another price increase notice!

It is so refreshing when you encounter an employee who is competent, knowledgeable & actually cares…read moreabout YOU, the customer. Angela, who Is a lead trainer, & I believe a manager (if she isn't, she SHOULD be) is one of those employees. Angela sorted through a crazy mix-up with our storage spaces, created by a different employee at a different location. She reached out to us with many phone calls, keeping us informed about her efforts to make a stressful situation right for us. Angela took matters into her hands, because she whole-heartedly wanted our situation to be corrected, and for us to be treated fairly. We are incredibly thankful for Angela's determination, experience & knowledge. I have no doubt that without her, our tangled situation would not have been resolved. We recently sold our home and rented some storage units for our household items until our new home is ready. However, the elevator in the building was not working. This is a TERRIBLE situation for our movers who needed to unload a huge truck of our stuff into our spaces. We decided to transfer our spaces - one to a different location nearby - (Angela's location) with a working elevator. From there, everything got scrambled. But from the moment we met & spoke with Angela about everything it was clear that she was thoroughly frustrated that this happened to us...& she was going to get it straightened out. It took a few days- but SHE DID IT!! Diligent, kind, knowledgeable, experienced & smart! This is Angela! I highly recommend her & her location & team. You can be confident that you will be treated well! Thank you for all you did for us Angela! You are a Shining Star Public Storage Employee...they are LUCKY to have you!! 5 star experience with Angela!
