Overall we are very happy that we went with Advanced Pools.. Before choosing them we got 4 pool quotes from different companies. The quote we got from Advanced was hands down the best price (by thousands of dollars). Mike is very straight forward and honest with costs, and expectations. Biggest advice I can give to anybody thinking about putting in a pool (regardless of which company you choose) is have realistic expectations. Realize that Advanced Pools is probably putting in 30 to 40 pools all at the same time, and they are utilizing sub-contractors for a lot of the work. What does that mean? This project will take a lot of time. Parts of your backyard will look like a construction zone. They will tear up sprinkler systems, etc. It's all just part of the process. Also, because they are using sub-contractors, often times there might be small miscommunications between the sub-contractor and Advanced Pools. As an example - the tile grout put in our pool was originally the wrong color (we wanted grey grout, and they put white grout in instead). One thing I really enjoyed about Advanced Pools is that Bailey always answered the phone (or called back if you left a message), and they remedied any issues almost immediately. In that specific example, the tile company was out here with in two days to fix it. That's a huge benefit of going with Advanced Pools. Pros - Advanced Pools always answered any questions or addressed any concerns we had. Also, the pool and spa look fantastic! Overall we are extremely happy with how it turned out, and couldn't have done this with any other company for the same price. Cons (Why 4 stars vice 5) - Multiple minor miscommunications that needed our attention. Like I said though, those miscommunications were immediately remedied once they were pointed out to Advanced Pools. read more

Our family decided we wanted a pool and spa, so we got some quotes from different companies. Advanced Pools gave us a great price compared to other companies. Mike was very professional and drew a design we were happy with and utilized the space in our yard perfectly. They very quickly began the process, literally 2 days after we signed a contract they were in our yard preparing to dig. The staff was very considerate and friendly throughout the process. They also cleaned up after themselves every day (no trash, swept dirt off the sidewalk in front of the house). Anytime we had any questions, we called Baylee and she readily answered any question, and if she did not know, she would promptly call us back. From start to completion, it took about 8 weeks to complete our pool, which is pretty standard for a big project like this. Unlike other companies, Advance offers 2 months of pool service with the pool, which is so helpful!! This was perfect when our filter was clogged due to some debris that came loose. The company came out and figured out the problem the same day! The only challenge we ran into, was there were some very minor damages that occurred during construction (a small hole on the stucco on our home, and some tiles in the spillway were damaged in the pool when the decking was poured) and it did take several weeks of calling to get it repaired. Due to the delay in getting that repaired, I was given an additional month of pool service to help make things right again. The repairs were done very well, and we are VERY happy with our new backyard. We LOVE our decking, pool, and spa! Thank you Advanced Pools! We are ecstatic with our finished product! read more

My pool building experience was as good as can be expected for construction projects (it's messy and loud). The project started Feb 18 and pool was filled May 9th. The weather and my own backyard sprinkler malfunctions created a few delays with the project, but one phone call to Baylee and the scheduled contractors were rescheduled with no problem. The customer service with the company blew my mind, all the sub-contractors and employees with Advanced Pools were polite, informative and professional. Baylee (Advanced Pools front office) specifically went above and beyond throughout the project. Even now 3 months after pool was completed, she calls right back to answer my questions. As of today, I don't have any problems with the pool to report. The concrete work is beautiful, (this work is Advanced Pools, not a sub-contracted company). The day before the concrete was to be poured, the concrete guys show up to grade and discuss the project. At this time, Robert, the concrete contact, advised me the irrigation box lids that were to be set in the concrete for future landscape pots; were not going to be flush. The edge of the lid was angled and the concrete was not going to be flush around the top. We discussed options and he picked up the lids and brought them the next day for the pour. They billed me for the other lids. I have them doing the monthly service and they are always here Wednesday. The service doesn't take long, but then it's a new pool and it shouldn't have any time consuming problems. I forgot to leave the gate unlocked. I called and they came the next day to service with no problem. read more

Built a nice pool but I would not recommend this company for service . While Brian may be a nice guy his employees need to learn phone edict. If you leave a message on the recorder during business hours it takes a few days to get back to you. Our first pool service guy was great for 2 years but when he left the new person was not as detailed as he was. Our pool turned green in the middle of May with beautiful weather. He said it was out of chlorine. Then We asked if had changed the filters in a while and said he would do it next time. I made him pull filters out that day because pool being green in May was not right. Filters were filthy. Thought it was because of chlorine level being low. He said it just needed more salt and that sometimes in the cooler weather it has a hard time producing salt. We have called the office several times over the years and who ever answers the phone never tells Bryan that we have concerns or either he didn't care either. Pop ups are not working because they never clean them. I finally had a company come out to see why the chorine levels are so high and found out the filter again is clogged up and not cleaning correctly. Also found out that there is a filter, a port value and pressure gage that needs to be monitored that has never be attended to in the last 31/2 years. This is why pool has not been circulating and cleaning to its best. Zero stars. read more

Our experience with Advanced pools has been great. Mike was easy to work with I never felt pressured into making a decision he allowed us the time we needed to make our decision. The pool was finished on time without any major problems, not to mention for a GREAT PRICE and exactly how we wanted it. He never tried to upsale or change our minds about what we wanted. Mary has been amazing at keeping things on track and returning calls promptly despite the many calls she gets in a day. Paul was very patient in training us with our new equipment and his schedule was flexible to meet our needs. Pool service has been amazing. The only negative experience I had during this process was actually beyond Advanced pools control was knowing exactly when someone would be coming over to work on the pool, (Mary did the best she could about notifying us) we have dogs so that's why it was important to know otherwise we am beyond pleased with the service we received from all of the staff at advanced pools. read more

We have not had them build a pool for us (Thank God!) But our neighbors did. They asked if they could take our fence down so they could get into our neighbors back yard and said it would only be for 24 hours and then they would put everything back. After taking our fence down and tearing up our lawn and plants with their back hoe nothing was put back the way it was. They tacked our fence up which stayed that way for 2 weeks. When they did come out they wanted to replace our fence without using any concrete in the post holes. My husband stopped them and told them to put cement in the post holes. After another week they came out with cement leaving broken pickets in our fence, no new lawn and no new plants. My husband has repeatedly tried to call and left several messages with no response from them. I would personally NEVER refer this company or hire them for any reason. It has been a month and our neighbors pool is still just a dirt hole. read more

We are very happy that we decided to build a pool and spa with Advanced Pools. The process was very easy and fast! By the time other pool companies got back in communication with us, we were already digging and in motion with Advanced Pools. From the first time meeting with Mike, we felt comfortable due to his honesty and promptness. He stood in the middle of our backyard and mapped out a pool design after listening to what we wanted. Emily also kept us informed of the process and was available for any questions that we have had. From dig to fill, the process was about 2 months! We are very happy and excited to spend quality time in our amazing backyard and pool/spa! Thank you Advanced Pools! read more

We are very pleased with the outcome of our new pool. It was a smooth and fast process and was completed in a timely manner. They started on 12/5/18 and was completed on 03/29/19. We've received a lot of good feedback from family and friends, in regards to the great job that they have done and how it turned out beautifully. We are extremely satisfied with all the hard work, dedication, and commitment that Advanced Pools has put forth in making our dream come true. It will bring many memorable and exciting memories to our family. We would highly recommend their service to our friends and family. Thank You once again, Advanced Pools. read more

Advanced Pool did a great job! This was our first pool and we couldn't be happier. Mike made recommendations based on our budget and built a beautiful pool and deck. Advanced gave us the best price and the finishing product was just what we asked for. My overall experience with Advanced was very positive. keep in mind that this is "construction" and it can be a messy process. Don't be misled by small complaints by some people who don't understand this. In the end, Advanced will give you the best price, great work, and you will be left with an awesome looking pool. I highly recommend them. read more

We Love our Pool! Thanks Advanced Pools. From the initial design & budget meeting we had with Mike thru final inspection, Advanced Pools was great to work with. Each phase/team did great work, were very efficient with their time on-site and the end result made us very happy. Bailey did a great job relaying information to and from the team(s) and rescheduling things as needed, due to rain delays. I highly recommend Advanced Pools if you want a nice, custom and affordable pool! read more

We are very happy with the completion of our backyard. Our pool and concrete was completed in 7 weeks. It is construction, so it does get messy.
