In no time at all Danny diagnosed the problem and fixed it. My pryor pool service did not add DE to the filter and the filters were clogged and at risk of being ruined. I called my Pryor service to complain (Ceballos) and they were very rude to me. They tried to blame me or Danny for the issues that I was having. Although the issues were apparent when they were servicing my pool. I will not consider them if I need service. Owning a pool is an investment. And having the right pool service is important in maintaining that investment. It is well worth it to have Clear Solutions for my pool. I have been using this service for about a year now. I fired them this week. They apparently didn't flush out the filters on my pool and left the water level too low. There is calcium buildup on the gunnite and rust. New pool service says it's poor quality service. I never get reports from the service and I don't think they backflushed the filter system (that I paid for). I do not recommend them. read more

Ok, let me get straight to it: Hallelujah! Darling Hubby and I inherited our former pool guy when we bought our house here in Visalia. I had told DH, I'm not moving to the Valley unless we have a pool. Though his eyeballs went $!$, he indulged me. For about ten years, we wasted $$$$ paying the guy who had been servicing this pool for years before we got there. I figured the two or three different kinds of vacuum crawlers we paid for just couldn't climb the steps to get the dirt there; I thought perhaps our equipment was just old and out of date and that's why it ran so annoyingly loud; I knew the original owner's landscaping plan, putting queen palm trees and all the husks and nuts they shed, right over the pool, wasn't the wisest. But what do I know about pools? Pool Guy was the expert. When it literally turned green to the point that the city visited us and wondered if we were farming mosquitos in our pool, I could at least assure them that we had spoken with our Pool Guy and we were going to have it re-plastered. And we did. And things improved a bit, for a while, though still the crawler wasn't getting the steps, or would stop dead (constantly!) and often the water looked kind of cloudy, and still the filter seemed to need frequent cleaning, and ran loudly and leaked a lot. And for YEARS (I can't believe how long I tolerated this!), for years, I dealt with the insanity-inducing itch, especially on my hands and arms, caused by swimming in our pool. Pool Guy just scratched his head and dumped more chemicals into it and cleaned the filter again. I made up reasons why it happened: I'm getting older, my skin is changing, it can't tolerate pool chemicals anymore, they use different chemicals today than when I was a kid, it's reaction to medicines I take, it's reaction between the pool chemicals and the intense sunlight, chemicals and pool care must be regulated now and I'm just SOL. But I loved swimming, and I tried everything I could to ameliorate the itch. I used anti-itch ointments, moisturizing creams, exzema and psoriasis creams, I got anti-itch pills from my doctor, I used "swimmers soap," I tried creams applied before going into the pool, sprays applied after leaving the pool, showering and scrubbing down after swimming; I even wore giant, latex kitchen gloves while swimming, tightly rubber-banded around my wrists (you can't swim very long like this, before your hands start to feel numb from lack of blood). Early this spring, I looked at my beautiful pool and found myself dreading swim season. And I finally had enough. I looked at reviews on Yelp and called Danny to come look at our pool. He looked at the dirt on the pool floor, on the steps, and tsk-tsked. He ran the filter, opened this and jiggled that, and tsk-tsked. He knelt by the pool, and with one dunk of his little chemical evaluation kit, he knew right away why my skin was a mess: "Your pool water has turned acid." ACID, people. I was swimming in ACID for years. Danny said there was really no chance of restoring the water to skin-friendly. He recommended emptying the old water and refilling the pool. He wanted to, yes, clean the filter. He said our current crawler wasn't hopeless, it just needed some repairs and maintenance. We hired Danny, and we spent a few bucks following all of his recommendations. For another couple of months I watched our pool restored to sparkling blue and beautiful. Even the steps are consistently dirt-free. I now open my kitchen door for the cool morning air, unbothered anymore by the filter, the same old filter, which now runs quietly and efficiently. These results were wonderful, but the real test would be getting in the water myself: what would happen to my skin? Well, with the water finally warm enough, I swam three separate times before posting this review. I didn't use any creams or sprays, before or after swimming. I didn't rush to the shower and wash down with swimmers soap. I sure as heck didn't rubber band huge yellow kitchen gloves over my hands. And...NO ITCH! No itch! No itch! I'm free! I can enjoy swimming again! I can love my pool again! As far as I'm concerned, Danny is a miracle worker. As long as we have a pool, Danny is definitely our Pool Guy. Thank you, Danny! read more

Danny recently started caring for my pool after I noticed the previous provider was slacking in their responsibilities. It wasn't clear to me how bad the previous provider was until I noticed how amazing my pool began to look after about a month of Danny caring for it. He fixed my pool sweep, reset all of the timers and even got into my pool to fix the light that was loose. By far the best pool service I have ever received! He schedule with me the very next day and cancelled on me 2 days in a row he said he serviced my area on Friday's .I tried to confirm he would be and he said he had a full schedule .
