ZERO STARS....Patel & Dudhat started a snail mail marketing campaign that is non-stop and harassing. I never asked for information, but monthly mailers are being stuffed into my mailbox. Its been going on for over a year now. I have contacted them more than 3 times and asked/told them to stop and to leave me alone. But the endless mailers keep coming. They obviously do not CARE AT ALL about people, or the mailers would have stopped at the first request. It is also mystifying that they actually believe that bombarding people with marketing will endear people so much that they will become a patient. There is no way I would ever let them take care of my teeth with their attitude they have towrds people's right to privacy. read more

Dr. Patel he is a great person and the personal are very competitive also bilingual. The place is very clean and I love the decoration. It is a peaceful environment. I stopped in here because my insurance lists them as a PPO. They said they had to check something about [...whether I was covered?], and they would contact me when they got their answers. That was a couple months ago, and I haven't heard back. Guess they don't need any more patients. I Can't really rate this place, because I haven't gotten any care from them, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt of a couple stars, based on the reviews of others. read more

Dr Patel purchased this practice in early 2020. My first appointment with him was to fix a broken crown. That went very well. I like the people he's hired - they are friendly and competent. Dr Patel had to pull a tooth that cracked at gum level, completed the bone graft & implant. Its very comfortable and secure. The reviews prior to 2020 are for the prior practice. read more

I wanted to like Oral Dynamics, but things never really went well. It started with a need to get a crown. I was impatient for the appointment times that my existing dentist had, so I tired Oral Dynamics on a recommendation from a friend. I had cracked a tooth right off below the gum line, and needed it fixed. Fast. Visit 1 - I was impressed at the speed in which I was able to get an appointment for a consultation and immediate start to the crown that was required! So far so good and was impressed. Days later though, I had a feeling that the temporary crown was not fit very well, but I figured this would just be a short period of time so i tried to deal with it. After about a week, it was uncomfortable to floss it, and because it didn't fit well it captured food and bacteria and actually made my mouth stink. First time I have ever experienced this (I had one previous crown). Visit 2 - The crown placement. Initially the appointment was going well but then somehow we popped out an existing filling while in the process of setting the crown. This seemed odd, but at the time I didn't pay much attention. These things happen right? The whole appointment wasn't terrible - but wasn't remarkable either. Fast Forward a year later - in a routine cleaning, the hygienist called out the crown as being suspect! One year later and we think that we need to revisit the crown? Well, that is unsettling. Especially since I have always been a little annoyed with this crown and this kind of confirms my aprehensions. Turns out I need a filling right behind the crown, so lets have a look shall we..... but I am a little uneasy about more work being done. I asked to get this all done sooner than later to ease my mind, which I think would be warranted given the situation. That really didn't happen.... The final straw - we do the filling and evaluate the crown at the same time. Turns out the crown is "ok, but we will watch it", but the filling seems off as I am getting up. I mention this, but the assistant says its normal because its a new filling and I am numb. I take her word for it because it makes sense. Three days later - it hurts..... A LOT!! My jaw even hurts now. I called, but I am out of state and because the office is also closed for vacation the only time I can be seen is weeks away. It intensifies and I end up in a readi-care for meds and antibiotics just in case its infection and then have to set an appointment with my original dentist to have it fixed. I didn't feel returning would have a good outcome. This appointment was a full two weeks later. Two weeks of pain where I cannot eat on one side of my mouth because the pain was so intense. Evaluation shows the filling was actually okay but high (shew! what a relief), but also the crown was high and allowed a little too much gap in between the teeth. The filling AND the crown heights were the 1-2 punch that contributed to the pain, and explained why I always was a little bothered by the crown anyway. Immediate relief after adjustment. Ahhhhh. So, all in all: (1) I have a crown that is now needed to be "watched" by the opinion of two dentists and (2) I paid more out of pocket for a filling (mind you Oral Dynamics pricing is rather high for their services) that also required a trip to the readi-care center ($$) and a follow up visit with x-rays to relieve my pain ($$$). In summary, this experience is almost surreal. I barely believe it happened, but the pain reminds me it did. I hate to leave such a review, but I feel i need to share this story. I made my apprehensions known several times throughout all these appointments and problems, and I don't feel it was addressed appropriately. In fact, it was only after I demanded a call from Dr. Roland that he called. I never retuned it, because I knew I wouldn't be returning, his office staff new my position, and finally I feel like if I were in his shoes and I knew my work was causing an individual discomfort, I would have at least made an effort to close the loop before it was demanded by the patient. Just for some reassurance. I hope there are many others that do not share my experience, but I feel i need to share mine such that future potential patients are informed if they start to go down the same path as myself. read more

While Dr. Rowland did an amazing job on my teeth, he was very rude to my family and I. He and his staff are not friendly.

Went to this guy for invisaline. The price was good. Paid up front for the total cost. Then after making payment I was told i needed a cleaning, their price $270.00, more than double my last dentist. Then I was told I needed x-rays, a couple of cavities fixed, and then there was another tooth that needed a root canal, ( he was not sure, if it was a cavity or something else.) Then he wanted to take some pictures for the before file. Whoa! Why all the up charges, why didn't you tell me this before I paid and agreed for the job? I ask for a total refund, this way of doing business was just underhanded, and unethical. The Lady who took the cash said they did my case a little backwards, do you think? They gave me back all but $270.00, which they said was for the before pics. Needless to say i went somewhere else for the invisalne. Paid a hair more, no other discoveries and was told that what OD did and wanted me to do was flat out wrong. If you want to overpay, and go to a guy who has trouble with diagnostics he is your man. And I will add He never smiled 1x when I was there. read more

I visited the office today for the preliminary work-up and found a totally delightful environment and a smiling, professional staff. I've been a patient for several years and have always noticed a constant changeover in staff - both up front and clinically. If they pride themselves on excellent customer service and being the "best in the valley", then maybe they should treat their staff with more respect. I've noticed from time to time the belittling the staff endures and honestly, I wouldn't want to be subjected to that day in and out either! It really is a shame because Dr Rowland does provide excellent dental care (which is why I'm still a patient) - but the attitude from management & feeling of the staff "walking on eggshells" is prevalent. read more

Arrived today to have my teeth cleaned. Prior visits, of which they had a record, I have elected to have nitrous oxide. They actually sold me a nose-funnel to bring back for return visits. Informed today that nitrous oxide was not available, in fact, it is illegal in PA without doctor supervision. Then notified me that they had scheduled x-rays and a doctor's exam, without my knowledge or consent, after I had confirmed in writing, I was only interested in having my teeth cleaned. Presumptuous firm, to say the least, in how they conduct business. Not customer-focused in the least. read more

Started off there with Dr. Rowland for an emergency. He was incredibly nice, patient, and helpful. After an insurance change only a newly hired dentist there accepted my insurance. I started getting work done only to have my participating doctor leave and no one to finish up work I had planned on getting done. This was very disappointing. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. As far as coming up with a treatment plan I felt this place was like a used car lot playing lets make a deal. I've never quite experienced this at other places and it was one of the areas I think the needed to work on besides excepting different insurances. On a good note they were all very nice and patient and even went as far as holding my hand through some difficult times. read more
