They hygienist held my hand as The Dentist made the procedure as painless as he could. He made sure to give me adequate anathesia barely felt a thing other then pressure from the teeth being pulled. I do not have dental insurance. He took an X-ray and said I have an infection above where I had root canal 2 years ago and that I needed to go to my endodontist. I was charged $189. My endodontist had a CT image capture done and kept looking at the image saying he did not see any sign of an infection and didn't know why I was referred that and what he could even do as a next step. He stated the pain was most likely from a sinus issue. The total cost was $330 for the visit. I returned to T&P and explained what happened to Dr. Lou. He said the endodontist cost seemed high and dismissed his initial diagnosis saying that it was good we ruled out an infection as a cause for the pain!? He looked at my chipped tooth and said it needed a crown. He pitched his office's dental plan and walked out. He was very unconcerned that I had paid over $500 and had really nothing to show for it. Personally, if I unnecessarily caused someone to spend over $500 I would stand up and offer some help for restitution like reimbursing my initial $189 fee, offer to discount work on the crown, or something. Standing behind one's work, IMHO, tells a lot about a person's integrity and wouldn't trust any doctor or business that doesn't possess it.

His office staff is just as bad, because after checking with my dental insurance the next day, I called the office and asked to have the overcharge rectified by crediting my credit card. Instead, the office employee kept stalling and did not return my calls. Even after I tried to reach Dr. Zilker to have him resolve the mater, he never returned my calls. Moreover, this office runs a scam about billing for missing an office appointment that I did not make! For instance, his office sent me a $60.00 fraudulent bill. If you contact the professional certification agency in Harrisburg, you'll be told that the monitoring agency does not get involved in billing disputes. So, Zilker uses this ploy to dishonestly increase his income. Steer clear of this dentist!

She was annoyed that I was choking on the enormous device that she put in my small mouth. She begrudgingly gave me a smaller device. She blamed me for it falling out though I clearly followed her directive. The x-rays were extremely painful & there were a countless amount of them. I thought it would never end. The hygienist seemed very nice but she did not clean my teeth which are in dire need of cleaning. The dentist was cold. She said I had an abscessed tooth & described some remedies. Her advice was moot because she is not in my network. She prescribed Amoxicillin & Ibuprofen, 800 mg. The latter is known for stomach bleeding. I took one & was nauseated all day. I threw them out.
