But one day I saw an informative video about special lenses for people like me on the Collierville Vision Center social media page. I had no idea lenses for headaches existed! Dr. Walley was so kind and helpful and let me try several trial lenses to find which ones worked best for me. After I decided on which lenses I liked most, I got to pick whatever frames I wanted, and here I am now wearing the most incredible pair of glasses I've ever had. These lenses have been life-changing for me. Unlike regular sunglasses, I can wear these inside and at night without things being too dark. In fact, I forget I'm wearing them! We were in a hurry and this place was the fastest exam I could find for her. I went in completely blind and honestly thought I was going to another place. The staff was nice, the Doctor seemed to know what he was doing. We got her exam all done and then on to the designer frame hustle. Ended up being $305 for a pair of glasses and the exam. Billed insurance a good bit more. It is what it is I guess. I was in a hurry. She likes the glasses. I am just too used to Costco I guess. I could have gotten two Gucci frames for that amount. I have been going to Adanced Eyecare for a number of years. The service I have received there has always been outstanding and proficient. My optometrist, Dr. Medley is to be commended for her mastery and expertise of both assessment as well as diagnostic skills. For my eye sight today that I so much appreciate is a direct result of her training and competence in both these areas. Exceptional eye care here. We have seen Dr. Koester for 19 years. She diagnosed and referred my youngest to an eye specialist when she observed possible blood spots on her retina. She was correct and proper intervention undertaken preventing blindness. She also diagnosed my hubby's shingles, that began as lesions around his eye. She was very aggressive in making sure his vision was protected. The whole family has received eye care here and experienced great professionalism and welcoming by front desk staff, who are also highly trained professionals in eye care and eye glass metrics for eyeware. We've slso used Dr. Medley in the absence of Dr. Koester. Again, great knowledge and skills! You're in good hands with this Advanced Eyecare & Optical location. I highly recommend. read more

I was given a comprehensive eye exam by Dr Koester on 09/14/2013. I explained to Dr Koester that the last two exams I had with Memphis area eye Physicians were not good and I had spent hundreds of dollars on glasses that I could not use. Dr Koester assured me that would not be the case this time. Dr Koester was very personable and asked all the appropriate questions about my eye care concerns. As a result, on 09/21/2013, I received a call from Advance Eye care that my glasses were ready and I could come in for a fitting anytime. I went to the office and the fitting took less than five minutes as my prescription was right on the money and needed no adjustments. They added $9.99 shipping charge , completely disregarding my request to pick up contacts in their office . They didn't want me to come back and question contacts price I guess . Now I am going out of town to see my MIL for the Mother's Day and my very pricey contacts will be out in hot weather entire weekend . Terrible experience with overpriced contacts , poor customer service and now worrying about receiving possible defective contacts because I am not sure can my neighbor pick them up from the hot mailbox.
