We talked to a few local dealers and only got more confused and intimidated. Then a friend suggested Andrew at Galaxy. He was our dream come true. He came to the house, looked at the space, listened to our wants, then advised us on some options in plain and simple language. We made our choices, and he quickly and efficiently installed the system. We got exactly what we asked for, and it's marvelous, for less money than we expected to pay. Andrew gave us simple instructions on how to use the system and assured us that we would need refresher courses and he was happy to provide them. All in all, a perfectly satisfying experience. I needed in-wall cable running. They said, no problem, and made me an appointment. The night before the appointment their "tech" calls confirming what type of service I needed then says they quoted me the wrong price and he can't work for that. The tech, Alex, says "after I buy the cable I'd have to install it for free." Wow, I had no idea Ethernet cable was $225 for 50 feet! So, this tech person cancels my appointment. A week later, when I take a break from unpacking boxes, I call Hello Tech again and ask what happened to my appointment. Their customer service rep says I cancelled the appointment, which is absolutely NOT TRUE. She books me another appointment and the next morning I get a text message saying I cancelled it. I just called this company again about my appointment for today and they say, I cancelled it. Either this company enjoys gaslighting people, or it is a total scam to get your credit card number then not perform any work. Beware and watch your card for charges.

After furnishing the room with a comfortable futon, I figured that we should upgrade the 42 inch tv that currently resided in the room to something a bit bigger (so American of me). While at Best Buy waiting to pick up a new tv, I began looking at tv stands; however, most of the stands were bulky and would conflict with the minimalist approach that I was aiming for. I immediately started watching YouTube videos on how to install a TV wall mount, and came to the conclusion that it was a job that my wife and I could take on. However, when the mount arrived at our home via Amazon, we realized that we much rather prefer to have a professional install it. I immediately did a Yelp search for "tv mounters" and the results led me to Alive Entertainments owned and operated by a gentleman named Francisco. Francisco not only had perfect reviews (and the photos to showcase his work), but also had a really cool bio about his journey working with electronics (ironically I had a similar upbringing in relation to installing car audio systems in my youth). I gave Francisco a call and was able to secure a same day appointment. Leading up to the set appointment time, Francisco did a great job of communicating his status. Francisco arrived at 1:23 pm and finished the installation at 2:10 pm, which was extremely quick. It probably would have been quicker had I not bothered Francisco with questions pertaining to the installation. I'm using the word bothered; however, Francisco did not seem bothered at all to patiently answer my questions. By the attention to detail that Francisco applied to the installation, it's pretty obvious that Francisco is knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I'm looking forward to playing video games and using our spare room for at-home workouts on those days when I cannot make it to the gym. They had appointments available as soon as the next day which was unlike other companies we reached out to, and they were also the most affordable. They even gave us a call when they were on the way, and arrived right on time for our scheduled appointment. They were also polite and removed their shoes, and wore masks and abided by social distancing guidelines. We purchased a mount ourselves for them to use for mounting our TV on the wall. They explained everything thoroughly, and I could even hear Francisco explaining to his son each step along the way, as it seemed he was training him. It really showed how much he knew about what he was doing! Once the tv was mounted, Francisco m explained to us how to use the mount, and how to uninstall it if we ever needed to put up a new TV. I was impressed with their punctuality and their level of knowledge. Usually these kind of service appointments don't occur right on time. They were in and out, in less than one hour. If we ever have any entertainment needs in the future, I will be calling up Francisco again, no questions asked!

Got a call from Terry on July 15, 2020, stating that he was on vacation and we talked about him picking up the antenna for credit. I asked him to let me know when I can expect him to stop by. On July 21, 2020, I sent Terry another e-mail stating that the last time we talked was on July 15, 2020. Again we talked about him picking up the antenna for credit and wanted to know when to expect him. On July 26, 2020, we sent Terry another e-mail asking him why he is avoiding my e-mails. As of July 30, 2020, I have gotten no response from Terry's TV.
