I asked this company for help with my yard. Vincent and Min recommended a general clean up before we talked about any design ideas. Miguel and Noe did the job in 2 days. Vincent came by several times to check the progress after giving Miguel thorough instructions. I'm still finding areas Miguel cleaned that I never expected! My yard looks beautiful but I'll still pursue any landscaping ideas Vincent and Min may have. I have used ALD for over twenty years for landscape maintenance and have been very satisfied over that time. Recently they were one of three companies to provide proposals to install plants, rework and repair irrigation and add / rework hardscapes to correct drainage issues and develop planting beds. Darryl was the designer from ALD I met with to review our requirements and issues that needed attention. He listened, asked questions and in two weeks developed a proposal and came to the house to review it with me. Their bid wasn't the least expensive but was the most thorough and provided solutions to all the issues we discussed. In retrospect, it was the least expensive if you considered the revised bids I would have been provided from others to add the work their proposals did not include. It was a very pleasant experience working with Darryl and his crew from beginning to the end. His choices of plants and his grouping and layout are an enhancement to our property. I was also very appreciative that he kept me informed and updated as to what they would be doing and when so there were no surprises. Great customer focus. I will preface this by saying I have worked with tons of landscape companies over the years and this by far was the BEST experience ever!! It all started with Tiffany Wallace, who is the estimator/project administrator. From the moment I called, she was completely responsive to my needs. 4 days before the work was scheduled, I added on more stuff - a lot more stuff for them to do. Tiffany said "NO PROBLEM, we can get it all done on the same day". Then the guys showed up on the day of work - EARLY!!! She was at my house to introduce me to the crew. They were so PLEASANT!! Worked very quickly, and took very good care of my plants and lawn. They take a ton of pride in their work. At the end, the crew lead made sure to walk the entire yard to make sure I was pleased. THEN, he took pics, sent them to Tiffany, gave her a final report AND she called me after 5 on a Friday to get the report from me and make sure I was pleased. I am so very pleased with the quality of work and the amazing responsiveness and follow up that I received from Advance Landscape Designs. I felt they were also very competitive in their pricing. We have used Vincent and his team for many projects over the years (tree removal, install concrete deck and 2nd driveway). This year we had to cut down 5x 30 year old trees in our backyard. They were very close to the power lines and our home service line. They did an incredible job. They are very skilled and work with the utmost integrity. My experience with Vincent was professional, prompt, and full of creativity. I had several estimates from different landscaping companies, but my experience with Vincent outshined the rest by milestones. Save yourself time and stress and just go with Advance Landscapes and Design. These guys are so experienced and that's SO IMPORTANT with landscaping. I learned the hard way by hiring the cheapest landscaper, and I can't count the amount of issues and stress I've encountered. Do not make the same mistake I did. The difference in price is WORTH IT. If I could go back in time I would. Vincent is extremely knowledgeable in all things landscape, he thinks through things from beginning to end, and he's got a wonderful artistic eye. I can't stress the importance of hiring someone who thinks through each part of the project. My experience with Vincent really was wonderful, he spent a lot of time ideating on different possible options to fit my budget while keeping water flow, stability, lawn care, durability, and beauty of the landscaping in mind. I've worked with advance landscape designs on several occasions and my experience has been great so far. I've worked with two of their sales representatives and in both instances they've managed to give me exactly what I needed in terms of my front bedding and backyard renovations. Most recently I have had the need to minimize my backyard grass since this drought has managed to kill most of my lawn. I have a pretty big backyard and I decided to go with a zeroscape and advance managed to give me a fair deal on it. Backyard is now mostly bedding and stoned walkways. Which works great for us here. Their crew was out here from sunrise to sunset which showed me that they were eager to get the job done. If I ever need another job done on my lawn I will be returning to them first. read more

We hired Advance Landscape Designs in 2011 to install a sprinkler system and lay down new sod in our front yard. Vincent was pleasant to deal with and overall it was initially a positive experience. However, after installation we experienced some issues with one of the PVC pipes they ran through the backyard - it was not buried deep enough and it came up to ground surface on it's own. Our system was fairly new at that point and still under warranty so they came to try and fix it. Well, it happened a second time so they came out again and supposedly fixed it. Cut to 3 years later, and not only has the same pipe come up again in the same area, it also started coming up in another area of the backyard as well. We called them to come have a look (which they did) but we were told our system was no longer under warranty. Vincent explained that the new area of pipe being exposed was due to tree roots uplifting it, which is fine, but it also would have been nice for the professionals to anticipate problems such as this prior to installation and perhaps finding an alternate route for the pipe rather than hoping it would hold until our system was out of warranty. We're not talking 10 years after installation here, we are talking less than 4. For them to absolve themselves of the responsibility of fixing at least the initial pipe which was never installed correctly in the first place, and that they supposedly fixed twice while under warranty, is their prerogative as a business, but I consider it to be poor business practice. I absolutely understand that a sprinkler system requires upkeep, and maintenance checks to keep it working smoothly but this issue goes beyond simple upkeep - it comes down to poor installation. On top of everything else, we just had a couple of leaks pop up in the front yard - after calling a tech that we trust out to have a look, he informed us that we should have had different sprinkler heads installed in certain areas of our heavily sloped yard and that we were bound to run into trouble with the heads that were installed in the lower areas of our yard. Bottom line - yes, they are pleasant and professional but after our experience I feel they cut corners and just hope the system and whatever patches they put in place will hold until they are out of warranty. Not the type of service I would recommend to a friend. read more

This is a fantastic landscape business. They work with the homeowner and do an excellent job. They are efficient and complete the work in a timely manner. Vincent provides detailed estimates so the homeowner knows exactly the work and cost. We will be hiring them for full-time maintenance in the spring. Great work! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I called for service on a leaky sprinkler head on a system they installed and was told that they could not get me in for 11 days, but I scheduled it anyway. I got a call back 15 minutes later letting my know they had a cancellation and could be there in 5 days between 8 and 9 am, so I took off work for that morning and waited for them. When they were no show's, they insisted that I was not scheduled for that morning, but offered to squeeze me in in the afternoon. I am seriously disappointed in their lack of professionalism and ability to follow through. read more
