A complete remodel with 2 retaining walls, new irrigation, sod, zero-scaping, a flagstone patio, hot tub, rebuilt deck, pergola, kitchenette, bar top, and electrical. Andy did an excellent job managing the project, paying attention to detail, and staying as close to schedule as possible. He gave us sufficient time after the job was complete to test the final product, make fixes, etc., before taking full payment. He went above and beyond to make sure to stay within budget and give us a beautiful final product. Before going with Andy we got quotes from 2 other landscapers. Rockview Landscaping's quote was in the middle. We didn't go with the cheapest option because Andy felt more trustworthy and willing to stay close to our vision. Additionally, the cheapest quote came from a larger national landscaping firm. It felt impersonal. We wanted to help a local business instead. The pictures speak for themselves. We included some before pictures as well so you can see how awful our backyard used to be, and how complete the remodel is. The slope in our backyard was very steep, making the lawn space completely unusable. The deck was rotting and painted over with an ugly green color. We cannot believe how much flat lawn space we have now, and the patio, hot tub, deck layout is beautiful and functional.

Told me it would take one day it took 5 days (weather was not an issue). Tore down 2 sides of fence and had a mess everywhere - even in the neighbor's yard (see pic - I was worried that someone would get hurt with the exposed nails.) And left the side open to neighbors for 2 days. Did not haul off all the old posts. Had asked them to use screws (multiple times and was assured they would) when putting the panels back on - they used a nail gun mostly and some of the panels are already falling off (it has been only a couple days). They finished after dark, so I stupidly was unable to inspect a final time. I emailed them and asked them to come back, but they are not responding.

Avoid Daniel Zamora at all costs (and look at the negative reviews for Tailored Pools to get a true sense of what you are dealing with when you engage with the Zamoras' businesses). The nightmare that is our experience with Daniel began over a year ago. Not only does our pool remain unfinished, our entire yard is completely unusable and in a state of disrepair. Necessary permits were not secured and requests for inspection reports ignored. We are now trying to undo the problems he created in this build. Despite collecting over 95% of the contract price, he abandoned the job leaving a significant amount of work undone. Specifically, they did not finish plastering, backfilling, electrical, plumbing, coping, decking, inspection, lighting, fencing or clean up. Here are just a few of the issues we experienced: (1) dishonesty; (2) no project management - random workers would come and go without any oversight and frequently without notice leaving us to try to muddle through instructions without plans or direction; (3) lack of responsiveness - as soon as the contract was signed and the first check in hand Daniel was difficult to get in touch with frequently leaving messages unanswered for days/weeks; (4) scheduling issues -- despite repeated promises they did not hit deadlines and constantly pushed back work, the excuses for which becoming increasingly far-fetched as time went on (5) deviation from design and missteps; and (6) lack of worker/subcontractor controls.

Jacob and his crew worked tirelessly to turf the…read moredog run in our backyard, and the results were truly exceptional and exceeded my loftiest expectations. Clean borders, no seams, smooth and level. With the staircase and multiple contours that they had to contend with, it wasn't a typical typical dog run, but they cut the turf perfectly to the complex area and the project came out extremely clean. They even installed a french drain at no extra cost when they realized it would be necessary to preserve the integrity of the turf. They nicked an irrigation pipe which was completely reasonable and expected, given the criss-crossing network of pipes, but they were quick to own up to it and repair it with no questions asked. This team is just starting out in Austin in an effort to expand beyond their Las Vegas home base, which explains the low (but positive) number of ratings. Give them a chance; I promise you won't be disappointed.

We hired US Turf to install artificial grass in our backyard. Unfortunately, the turf began…read moresinking, becoming uneven, and developing wrinkles. It feels like the base underneath has shifted, making parts of the lawn soft and unstable to walk on. We've been trying to get this warranty issue resolved for more than six months. We were asked to send photos, which we did, and we were repeatedly told that someone would come out to fix the problem. Unfortunately, despite countless follow-up messages over several months, no one ever showed up and the issue was never resolved. We even ran into Zac by chance in person, hoping that would finally move things forward. He apologized and told us he would send someone the following week. Based on his promise, I rearranged my schedule and changed my plans to make sure I would be available. Unfortunately, once again, no one came. There wasn't even a phone call, text message, or courtesy notice to let us know they weren't coming. After that, they simply stopped responding again. The most disappointing part wasn't the defect itself--problems can happen with any project. The real issue was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. When you pay for a professional installation, you expect the company to stand behind its work and honor its warranty. Unfortunately, that never happened. I cannot recommend US Turf based on my experience. If customer service and warranty support are important to you, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
