We looked for what we needed, i walked around because i didn't actually need anything. While my bf had a question, the guy answered it and attempted to look it up for us. After that we figured it out but i listened to the employees chatting while my bf finished up. The employees literally hate their jobs. It was the conversation they were actively having. The one guy who opened the door was complaining about how he handled a call with a customer, the was complaining about the job. The girl was agreeing. Then another employee walked in and literally said that he hated his job. Do not work in customer service if you don't want to handle customers... it's that simple. Your entire job is customer service, if you don't like it find something else, but complaining in-front of countless customers is ridiculous, and sad.

I had some large scrapes of paint I needed to remove (my neighbor got too close in his car...). Before the guy would recommend anything, he wanted to go out to the parking lot and see the damage to make sure he was recommending the right products. How many sales people would take the time to do that??? Not many... Anyway, after only spending $12 I was able to remove all of the paint on my truck that didn't match my color... and of course save my neighbor a ton of money who was ready to file a claim against his policy for me. If you need auto parts, this is the place to go.

I do regret that there is not ONE universal network to share. If you see a part online that is available at another location not your own, you may be asked to re-input your data at this location also. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The have general auto knowledge, and store merchandise familiarity. Most visits are walk in. Tell them your vehicle info, ad the part you need. They offer good, better, best quality. Most will know of a special and tune you into a promotion("add $2 to qualify for a 20% discount"). Returns could not be easer. Mechanics always buy more than they might need, because you never know what you'll find when you get it apart. Just keep your receipt for the easiest process. Lots of specialty tools to rent for FREE. You pay for the tool as if you are buying it. You get a full refund after you return the tool set, clean and in tact. No daily or hourly rate. Family members that call me with an automotive question, I always send to AAP for a free diagnostic test, and the codes. They can tell you what the check engine codes mean. "Gas cap is not tight" Yes, that is more common than you think. Google your code before just handing it to anyone that is going to say PAY ME!

If you're a AAA member, don't forget to show your card for a 10% discount on most items. Really the only problem I've ever had was with the Napa brand wiper blade "Curve." Then the guy right next to me was told to "finish his sentence" like a child because the dumb girl at the counter didn't know what part he was looking for even though he very clearly explained it and she misunderstood. There's more competent employees at a McDonald's on Cleveland avenue than this store.
