Their front desk has always been courteous and up front regarding costs and time estimates. BUT--- I most appreciate their honesty after the last service. I had two damaged tires replaced and asked them to replace the brakes as well while the car was there. Another auto shop had told me a few months earlier at the state inspection I should have that done but i didn't have time that day. Turns out that other shop was just trying to get more $ out of me. Bills auto informed me there was still adequate life in those brakes after inspection. They did not replace them although it would've been some quick and easy profit. The tire replacement was done at a fair price. We've had other places price match for lower but the cost was still reasonable.

On one hand, the initial sales process with Habby and Kayla was excellent--professional, smooth, and pressure-free. I also really love the car. On the other hand, the finance department subsequently engaged in a deceptive product substitution that has resulted in a months-long administrative nightmare. During my financial signing, I was presented with a digital selection screen explicitly branded and marketed as the manufacturer's official Subaru Added Security (SAS) protection program. I agreed to purchase these official plans for a total of $4,103.00. However, without my knowledge or consent, the finance department switched the finalized paperwork to third-party contracts administered by Fidelity Warranty Services (JM&A Group). When I discovered the unauthorized switch, the Finance Director, Emmir Quiroga, explicitly admitted the discrepancy in writing on April 30th and agreed to void the third-party contracts and convert them to the authentic, backdated factory SAS plans. I signed and returned the cancellation documents that exact same day. It has taken over a month and a formal escalation to Subaru Customer Advocacy, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), and Better Business Bureau just to get a basic status update. It is ridiculous that a dealership requires corporate and state-level intervention just to honor a written agreement. I highly recommend the sales staff here, but look at your final finance paperwork with a magnifying glass before signing.

(First, let me say the car I bought from Sheehy Ford, brand new in 2014, has had multiple mechanical issues since I bought it. Biggest waste of money ever in my life). Well, I was on my way to work Friday on I-66 Eastbound just passing the 234 business on-ramp when my engine light came on and my engine revved up like it was stuck in a low gear. I pulled over and called Geico for Roadside Assistance. (Wonderful and caring customer service but that's for another review)! I recieved a call from Brian who works at your Horton's Wrecker Service less than 5 min after my call with Geico. Brian says he is right down the street and he's coming. He showed up about 5 min later. Maybe 10 min total I was on the side of the road. Mybe a hair less. Not bad at all. Brian pulled in and hooked up my car to the tow. I climbed in the cab. Man, it was clean in there... and smelled nice. Not what I expected honestly. Brian jumped in and we took off down 66, car in tow. He took me all the way to the Centreville exit of course so we could head back to Warrenton. We talked the whole way to Sheehy Ford. Brian is a good person and very polite. We had the best conversations and he smiled and laughed along with me. I cannot believe, but am very thankful for the very quick, reliable service and personal kindness I recieved on this very stressful morning. Due to reoccurring issues with our car battery I've had to get a jump from Horton's several times…read morein the last year or so via our geico roadside assistance. The technicians who have come out have always been incredibly kind and helpful (one even recognized me from a previous jump and gave me references for a different shop to try). The customer service rep who answers the phone on the other hand is incredibly rude, as other reviews mention. I understand that they probably don't deal with the kindest customers since people are rarely in a good mood when they're calling for a towing service, but if they can't be kind to customers they shouldn't be on the phones.

However, they don't offer it or tell you it is needed. You will be in for a surprise when it comes time to renew your tags. The manager did comp my emissions inspection. Made it a little bit better but still very frustrating to have not been told.

Initially, I received excellent service from Julian, a serviceman who assisted me at the front desk. He provided a lot of helpful information about my warranty and offered various services related to the lights. While waiting for the repairs, Julian kept me informed about the expected duration and when the parts would arrive. I appreciated his communication. However, things took a turn when Julian had to consult with his service manager, Tamara, regarding the battery and whether it would be covered by the warranty. It was at this point that problems arose. Tamara suddenly claimed that none of the work on the lights would be covered due to pre-existing superficial damage to one of the taillights, which I had not mentioned when dropping off the vehicle. It's important to note that the issue I brought in the vehicle for concerned all four lights malfunctioning, not just the damaged taillight. Throughout the process, Tamara displayed rudeness and a lack of professionalism, refusing to assist me in any way and making the situation needlessly difficult. To make matters worse, Tamara decided to reissue a report that had already been sent to me, now including a charge for a diagnostic fee for the lights. The existence of the small damage was already known when I dropped off the vehicle, and no mention was made of a diagnostic fee until Tamara became involved. When I arrived at the office, I was surprised to find a new bill that included this charge, even though Julian had previously sent me the same bill without it. Julian seemed almost embarrassed to hand me the updated bill, knowing that Tamara had added the charge. Throughout the entire process, Julian tried his best to maintain professionalism and rectified the situation by removing the obviously unfounded diagnostic charge. Moreover, when I entered the office, Julian was kind and provided me with good service, acting as if there were no issues. However, Tamara positioned herself aggressively close to me, making me feel confronted, and repeatedly asked if I was satisfied with her service, despite our previous conflicts and my expressed dissatisfaction. It appeared to be an intentional attempt to provoke a reaction. Overall, the experience with Julian was positive, but Tamara's behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and tarnished the reputation of your company. I was under the impression that inspections were covered by my warranty based on previous visits, but Tamara insisted otherwise unless I could provide specific warranty clauses. In the end, it all felt very unprofessional and was an embarrassment to your company's name."
