I paid $29 for a replacement. While I was there, I had mentioned that on my way over, my check engine light went on. So after he rang me up, we went outside and he used his handy dandy scanner to check and see what was causing the check engine light to be on. Some sort of evap leak in something (LOL, I truly am not a car girl). I feel like some places would charge you an arm and a leg just to find out simple things, and they do it for free! We arrived 25 minutes later and they were still open waiting on us- Chase aired up our tire and gave it a quick once over and said we'd be good for the rest of our trip. I even told the front desk that if they couldn't get to it, I would gladly come pick it up so I wasn't taking up their space unnecessarily. Rather than simply explaining that they were too busy to look at my vehicle, he blamed me repeatedly for them not being able to work on it -- even though no confirmed appointment was ever created, no system entry was made, and no communication was sent to me to establish a scheduled date. I acknowledged my mistake in not coming Wednesday or calling ahead, but the way the situation was handled was dismissive, rude, and lacked any basic customer service. A simple "We're booked today, we'll try for tomorrow" would have gone a long way. Instead, after leaving my car there all day with no updates, I received a message saying it was "ready for pickup" -- even though they never inspected it. The entire experience left me disappointed and feeling like my time and concerns weren't valued.
