When I walked in, I noticed how clean and stocked this store was. Definitely well taken care of. The man at the desk asked my car make and model, and quickly found the wipers I needed to replace on my car. There were plenty of options to choose from, some cheap, some pricey. I paid $29 for a replacement. While I was there, I had mentioned that on my way over, my check engine light went on. So after he rang me up, we went outside and he used his handy dandy scanner to check and see what was causing the check engine light to be on. Some sort of evap leak in something (LOL, I truly am not a car girl). I feel like some places would charge you an arm and a leg just to find out simple things, and they do it for free! He told me where I could go for next steps, and made me feel more comfortable that my car was going to be just fine. Great location, great staff, super helpful.

I was cool with it, paid my $400 for it and was in another shop 2 days later because the clamps on the hose were not tight at all, I could turn them with my fingers. Now I'm out more than double the money because of a tow and another diagnostic and repair I had to pay for. They're nice people but I paid $400 days for a 4 inch elbow hose and a lack of attention to detail that caused a failure on my vehicle. Thought this was going to be my go to place because they were so helpful but they've costed me more money than necessary.

This was so much fun! I have not been here in almost 2 years…read more They have created a production/processing area that is separated the pickable cars from the new cars. The check in process is automated now making it simpler and faster to check in. Admission is $3.00 per person. When paying for admission, it is important to ask the cashier to pull up the inventory and tell you whether they have the make and model you are looking for. We received the row location for our vehicle. The lot is well laid out and marked so that you can find your pick quickly and get to work removing what you need. We received great customer service throughout the process. You should bring the tools necessary to remove the part you want from the car. They provide a wheel barrel for you to place place parts in and bring them to checkout. I was impressed with the improved check in, the cars they had for sale, the cleanliness of the pick lot and the amount of space allowed between each vehicle to help you get to the part you want without squeezing by.

I'm a little uneasy based on a few reviews I've read of this place due to my experience. I'll…read moreupdate as the situation continues and give fair updates as it is resolved: I took my older 19 ft Chevy G30 van there a month and a half ago. I had my vehicle towed there (it's $600 for each tow) and even spoke to someone there, told them what kind of vehicle and what was wrong and was told to bring it in for an estimate. NOBODY told me it would be $158/hour to diagnose...nobody. I even spoke to the mechanic once it was there, someone at the front desk and there was NO mention of this. I read some of the other reviews and I'm getting the sense they definitely take advantage of people if the situation calls for it. I called twice to get a status with no response or call back in that month and a half worth of time. Finally called yesterday and was put on hold a few times (it seemed they were looking into an issue), then a new service writer told me that he just started three days ago, read the notes that said to just "call owner" and says oh gee that would be $158/hour since it wasn't running (nobody at the get go told me that, nor after or since until now) AND my vehicle has been sitting there for a month and a half or more!? I would have made other plans if I knew this. So then to top it off, I get hung up on (I was completely calm on the phone), call back, leave a message and then eventually connect about an hour later. Now all of a sudden he says that the lead mechanic already did 1.5 of work that I'd be charged for and fixed a switch and got it started but won't stay running and needs more work. The lack of communication in this is absolutely astounding and now how do I trust anything!? All I got was an oops sorry nobody called you and told you how much it would be or even gave you anything in writing or authorized any work!? My family owns a shop farther away and that is completely illegal!! I have no choice now but to have them continue and told them to cut it off at a certain amount of hours. I will update once this situation is complete and fairly if resolved. Now I'm skeptical but if I can't at least get the vehicle running to make it to my house, I will have to get another $600 tow. If they can tell me what's wrong with it, even better. I'm hoping for the best and will update once this is resolved.

When I got the car back my headlights did not work. I went back to let them know and left my car there. They said they would take a look. Another week went by and I had to call again to follow up. They said I would need to take the car to Tidewater Auto Electric because of the wiring. I did a quick Google search and it suggested to check the headlight relay and ballasts. I ordered the parts on Amazon and changed them myself. I am not a mechanic and was able to figure it out. The headlights worked after that. They have a Superman figure displayed there at the register. I guess headlight work is Superman's kryptonite. I would be very cautious of the accountability at this shop.
