Horrible horrible store. The man that sold me the bulbs for my blinker. He acted like I was pulling…read moreteeth when I practically BEGGED him for HELP. Once outside he looked at the LABOR involved, HE SAID HE NEEDED A SPECIAL TOOL!! I went to another Auto Zone (why you might ask?) This place without a clue as to my issues with other store, they TO PUT IN MY BULBS, NO SPECIAL TOOL NEEDED. I will call corporate about this store. The employees are rude, lazy and or just plain STUPID. I wonder who the manager might be? As there are all bad reviews, the lady mentioned must still be there as it smelled like a smoke stack IN the store. Sad sad sad... Stay away at all costs unless you want to be treated like a lower class citizen.. I'm surprised they are still in business!!

This is probably the worst Auto Zone ever, and I say that based on several visits there since I…read morerecently moved right down the street (and drive a car that is always in need of parts and repairs). If you're going in there to pick up a simple part and get in and out with no talking, this place is fine. It's a typical Auto Zone with tons of supplies, parts, and accessories. However, if you need any real assistance, you're in for a world of hassle and frustration. I wanted to get my battery tested since I was having issues with it (soon determined to be a near-dead alternator). The guy who went to test it didn't know how to use the little machine they use. After standing there confused for the longest time, he eventually came up with a lame reason why it was my battery's fault the test wasn't working. A few days later, I decided to pull my dead battery and take it in to get it charged. The woman behind the counter seemed baffled by my request. She took my battery to the back to charge it. She said it was charging, and it was a process that took 35 minutes. When I returned an hour later, my battery was sitting on the counter. When I went back home and plugged my battery in, it was still dead! I then turned to the Advance Auto a mile down the street and was met with superior service. When I expressed my frustration with the Auto Zone down the street, the guy said he hears that all the time. The Auto Zone about three miles away in Trenton also said they get people in there that voice the same sentiments, and that Auto Zone is okay. I was set never to return there again, but a few months later, I needed a new brake light. I figured I could go in there and be out in two minutes with no trouble. I took my burned out bulb in there to make an easy selection of a new one, but I couldn't quite find the right one since my dead bulb was corroded with the little numbers worn out. The guy looked it up on the computer, and alas, I was sold the wrong bulb.

I recently moved to the area from Sterling Heights, where I have lived for the past 20 years, and…read morewas looking for a local yard to get some parts I am looking for to use for my projects. I was not greeted at all, I had to walk past the door into the entrance to the yard in order to try to talk to someone. I was just stopping in to find out the offerings, the type of vehicles, etc., and I had my 10 year old son with me. The two "gentlemen" sitting by the table had to be addressed before they would speak to me. I tried to say what I was doing there, and why I stopped in. I was interrupted and told I had to pay $1 to see the yard. Twice. I had said that was not necessary, and tried to ask questions once again, and was told I had to pay, and my son could not accompany me. I said again I did not intend on walking the yard, I wanted to know if they had a manifest, what major tools could be used, hours of operation, etc., but got interrupted once again by a "woman" who walked out to say my son could not be here. I was interrupted again when I was saying I had no intention of going on the yard, when she said he had to stand inside the door, which was less than 5 feet away. I got sick of trying to give my business to them, and sick of being treated like an ass and left. They need the $1, to not be interrupted while sitting in their behinds, and to be rule mongers for rules not listed in any way that I saw more than they needed to represent the company in a responsible, yet reasonable and friendly way. I will drive out of my way to give my business to someone who treats me like I am a wanted customer, and will "tolerate" my investigation of services before I give the obligatory fee. Not worth my money. I will pay more elsewhere then ever go back.

I really like it. Vehicles are organized. Relatively clean yard. Many I've been in are muddy or…read moreovergrown with weeds making finding parts difficult. Selection is good, but it's luck to find parts for an uncommon vehicle. The staff is ok but one of the cashiers seems grumpy. They have a rewards program that is cool but she doesn't always ask for your phone number to register points. Other cashier cool. I recommend Parts Galore.

Maybe it's because there's something about cars that calms me down. I love working on them…read more Learning and fixing things DIY style. So this is probably the best place and one of the cheapest place to find used parts for your car. $1 to rent a wheel barrow. Bring your tools and you're ready to go hunting. Just go through rows and rows and rows of cars that they have on the lot. We were looking for wheels and a rear hatch switch for my chevy blazer. The wheels were pretty easy to find. $40/wheel is a very good deal. Specially when I'm just swapping the tires out for winter treads. The switch was a bit harder to find. I felt like we searched each and every one of the same car or similar til we found one that has the clips still intact. Anyways,, for less than $200,, I walked away with a good switch and four rims for my chevy blazer, and I'm definitely a happy camper. I'll probably be coming back again next time for other items. I really feel the happiest when I'm doing things that give me a sense of accomplishment in the end. Specially when doing dirty man stuff like ripping parts off and putting it back together in your car. And for that,, I truly do appreciate you Taylor Auto Salvage. Thank you for reading my review. I hope this helps.

Like their last reviewer, I CAN NOT IMAGINE a good reason to ever go back to the standard retail…read moretire experience. Hours long waits? Higher overall price? WHY? I, too, ordered a full set of "snow shoes" from Tire Rack for our little girl and I've got to be honest. I was skeptical. Almost everything that could go wrong sincerely tried. FedEx delivered late and it was POURING rain on my installation date, but Menard's was communicative and clear, "We'll be there!", and they were, and the entire ordeal cost about $100 less than it would have had a conceded to sitting and watching a tire shop work on someone else's car for two hours. Install took a little over an hour and went off without a hitch. And like I said, the communication, service and setting of expectations was smooth all the way through from booking to confirmation to installation and payment. Better than what you expect... Menard's is what you'd hope for. Thank you guys. If you're the future of the business, the future looks great.

I ordered tires on-line (www.tirerack.com) for delivery to my home. Menards Mobile Tire Service came to my home. All the work was done in their fully kitted out van, in my driveway. I saved ~$100 over the best in-store prices/specials and avoided unnecessary bemusement. Will I use them again? Absolutely, yes.
