Simon listened carefully to what mattered most to me--especially the owl's face, eyes, and unforgettable gaze--while using his artistic freedom to interpret the moment. He truly delivered. The owl's eyes have incredible depth, and the delicate linework and shading throughout the face, feathers, leaves, and mandarins are beautiful. He even incorporated a meaningful date I requested at the last minute, which I love. The session lasted approximately seven hours, including much-appreciated breaks. Since it was my first tattoo, Simon regularly checked on how I was feeling and whether I was experiencing any pain. He has a gentle hand, and the discomfort was completely bearable and honestly not bad at all. His patience, attentiveness, and attention to detail made the experience comfortable and positive. Simon also provided detailed aftercare instructions and asked me to send a photo after one month to check how it healed. He includes a complimentary first touch-up if needed, which shows his continued care and professionalism. Inkxtreme is modern, clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. The lines are uneven, the thickness is inconsistent, and the geometric elements are crooked and poorly aligned. The shading is patchy and inconsistent, with areas that look unfinished and overworked. There are multiple OBVIOUS imperfections that should have been addressed before considering the tattoo finished. What made the experience even worse was the artist's attitude when I returned to discuss the possibility of a retouch. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. He also made insulting comments about the amount of tip I gave him. A tip is at the customer's discretion and should never be used as a reason to insult or disrespect a customer. I paid for a permanent piece of artwork and expected professionalism, attention to detail, and basic respect. Instead, I was left with a tattoo that I'm unhappy with, an uncomfortable experience, and the possibility of having to spend even more money with another artist to correct the work. I would not recommend getting a polynesian tattoo here, the reason I came back to this spot is because of Gary, he did me a solid for doing a tiny dragon behind my ear. And for the artist that said he could have charged me more, but instead gave me a discount, buddy..... look at your work! This does not cost $2,000. I would have been more happy to get turned down and I mean, come on, if this ain't your forte and can't do these types of design, then just say so! I could have gone somewhere else and find an artist that is actually specializing in Polynesian tattoo. For me, the poor execution of the tattoo combined with the way I was treated afterward made this an experience I would not repeat.

He said he didn't know, which was perfectly fine, but the way he responded afterward left me wondering if he was being sarcastic or mocking me. It felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly made me hesitant to return. These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. Still, that first impression was annoying enough that I've never looked back since. If you decide to visit, I recommend coming with a friend, especially if it's your first time. I have seen Adored Ink plenty of times on Instagram from friends who have gotten tattoos before and I noticed that their business is right down the street from me! I got my very first tattoo done by Usagi and she made my first tattoo experience amazing! I was told a lot that spine tattoos hurt a lot and the pain would be a 10/10 but in all honesty, I didn't feel much pain, which is a blessing LOL. I would rate the pain a 2/10. I felt so relaxed and at peace getting this piece done for me. Usagi was really friendly and super kind towards me and my sister. All the girls were super sweet towards my nephew, even when he was throwing a fit LOL, who we couldn't get a baby sister for and even gave him some gummies. The vibe is super cute and super clean, overall, shout out to my girl Usagi for being so kind and understanding with everything I wanted for my tattoo. Not only is this place super cute but the artists are all super nice and friendly. I got one of my tattoos done by a student she was sweet, nice & overall really gentle with my tattoo. This one didn't hurt at all but it also wasn't my first. I also got the nano brow service done by Sav. I hardly felt any pain at all and it seemed to go by very quickly, they came out soo good my brows have never looked better!! The shape and cut of my nails are perfect, and I left her studio feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated.
