My family is known for our love, attention and dedication to our dogs and she treated us like we were the most irresponsible pet owners ever because we followed the advise of our dog's doctor. She went so far as to quote laws that aren't even fact. Another thing is they draw you in with pictures of dogs on their website then they are no where to be found. Also, I hope none of y'all are there if an incident breaks out as they allow people well beyond the capacity of the building limits in at one time. I think the purpose behind this organization is great. They should definitely look for a better "leader". One more educated and caring. All in all I can't be too upset. They weighed him and took him away. They called about 4 hrs later for me to pick him up. I've never had this done to any of my dogs before, but they took really good care of my baby. Dr. D and her mobile clinic is a godsend! Not only do my cats get to stay at home, they get top-notch care because Dr. D is SUCH an animal lover. She is very gentle and caring with the animals she is treating, in addition to being quite knowledgable about any health problems your pet might be facing. Plus, having her come to your place means you get great one-on-one service so you don't have to explain to 3 different techs why you brought your cat in today. No luck! We agreed to foster and she completed a basic screening and offered assistance with vaccinations and arrangement to have the dog neutered. We will foster the dog until a suitable family is found. Her communication has been great and we sincerely appreciate her help for these animals that are left on the streets.

I will say she got attached to me pretty quickly. She was terrified of a lot of things and people especially kids. But the next day she started to growl at my granddaughter when she was loud or even when she was running around. And she also snapped at my daughter if she got to close to me. If I didn't have 4 grandchildren that come over a lot. I would have worked with her. I ended up giving her back. I gave them all the information what happened and I got yelled at and said I didn't give her a chance and every rescue dog is like this. Now I have rescues, my daughter has a rescue and my mom has 2. Not all are like that. So obviously I know not every rescue dog is like this. I tried to explain that I can not do any fear aggressive dog bc of my grandkids. I will not take that chance. As a professional she should have understood that she was not the right fit and needs to go to a home with no young kids and nothing really loud. I was already sad that she wasn't going to work out and felt guilty. By yelling at me, she made feel worse about this and put me in tears. I just wish she understood I couldn't take this chance around my grandchildren. And by my 30 something years of experience I don't think she would have gotten over her fear with people. She would hide behind me and growl and at one point snap. She just really needs to be worked with and socialized with people. I am writing this review just because I got yelled for returning the pup the next day. No rescue should ever do this. Even when you disagree.
