As Girlfriend is approaching her 3rd birthday in November, I just wanted to take the time to say how much of a joy she has been for me, my daughter, and even my parents who have never been into animals of any kind! In fact, as we speak, Girlfriend is at the grandparents house in NC with my daughter and has been for the past month! I wasn't sure how the dog thing would go but working with Brenda was a breeze. Girlfriend has this far been a healthy and happy pup. We've only had to see a vet for check ups and minor things. She is everything I could ask for and more. Her personality is so much like mine, laid back...calm and collected, that it's unreal. I've been thinking about adding another Havanese soon. I lived in Houston at the time that I got Girlfriend but have since then relocated to MD but I wouldn't dream of using any other breeder!

A variety of worms, as she was obviously not dewormed and Giardia parasite which has now been passed to my two other dogs. Giardia has to be sent out for special testing which is not available in the 24-48 breeder request. We are now on a second round. This has been a nightmare because it is extremely contagious to humans as well. So keeping things sterilized around the clock is difficult. I have much more to add and feel free to contact me. I did advise her and she said she took all her dogs for testing I call bullshit on that, how does she know who's poops is who's, to get tested, This is very close to a puppy mill so don't be fooled by the beautiful website and promises of doggy door trained, family trained etc! It's not true! The live in huge kennels. The address on the website is not where they breed these dogs. They live at a location they don't want you to know about....i do have that address wish they would publish that and be honest. BUYER BEWARE AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS ON A DOG YOU WILL NEED MORE TO MAKE THEM HEALTHY. We are now on our third round of treating Giardia. Let me tell you this is exhausting keeping all areas sanitized, bedding constantly washed etc. I have two other dogs, they have been treated as well. vet bills, compound pharmacy prescriptions (because the medication is really foul tasting) all $ that add up. how can this breeder possible send home a healthy puppy. Remember you sign your rights away when you sign that contract. This is a very dishonest person! will look you straight in the eye like a saint, but she is not, the devil is looking at your check instead! I am posting pics of my beautiful puppy but how I wish she wasn't sick!

This is a factual review of perfect paw pups. Our trust was…read morestrong in this breeder because X years ago, we had purchased (Winston)from them previously with no problem. In April 2023, I contacted perfect paw pups regarding a new puppy for my daughter to be a companion. I felt confident that my experience would be the same as it was with Winston. On June 23rd we were shown the litter and selected the sweet little boy with the black nose and named him Mousse. It was still several weeks before we could take him home, but received updates, and any expected pet would. We watched him grow and eagerly awaited the time until he could come home. On August 26th 2023 we drove to Houston to (5 hr drive and an overnight hotel stay) to pick him up. My daughter immediately bonded with him, and we would be headed home the next day. We had been given his papers, and shot records from in home shots, not vet shots, along with a complimentary puppy starter pack, after paying the agreed upon fee of $1600, and we headed home. All seemed well for the first week, but on the 9th day we noticed he was having trouble breathing and was very lethargic. We called our vet & was told to bring him in immediately. Upon arriving at the vet, Mousse was assessed and given an x-ray. Within a few minutes, we were told that his diagnosis was congestive heart failure that he had had since birth & it was the largest heart the vet had ever seen. He was suffering and would need to be put to sleep. We are rational people and realize things happen that are outside of our control. However, the review of this breeder has nothing to do with anything I have just listed. It is 100% to do with what happened next. I contacted perfect paw pups by text . He texted back and said "with the paperwork from the vet, you can return him to us, and we still have Silver available". Later on, he said he was devasted but could sell us another one for an additional $800 that he had available or $600 additional for a pup of the next litter. Again, no apologies, no refund, just more $$$ for another puppy. We exchanged a few more messages & I sent the x-ray on to him to review. We exchanged a few more messages and planned a call after 5 pm. on 9/6, which he confirmed. I have never heard back. I am sharing this story because of the emotional toll it took on my family, especially my daughter. The absolute lack of empathy and customer service is appalling. We walked away from the $2500 for the simple reason that we wanted nothing more to do with them. Please, consider yourself warned.

Went to their website hopeful, but is eyesore terrible website design I backed out of immediately.read more

FOUND WHAT WE WANTED -…read more While on a Road Trip with my Wife in the Houston Area, we stopped in at "Pet City Houston" (Bammel Westfield) and checked out their Dogs. We have been looking for one for our Schnoodle back home and have not found on via many 'Doggie Adoption Agencies' - which has been giving us a run-around for about a year. My Wife found several really cute and well groomed Doggies there and a couple of them were what we are looking for. She picked one out, a Miniature Schnauzer, all white, about 8 months old. The Employees there were playing with the Dogs, feeding them and caring for them. This is a good sign. We petted and held the one we are interested in and my Wife decided this is the one she wants. We both agreed, and John, the guy that was helping us, set it up for us to pay for and pick-up this Cute Little Doggie early Saturday morning before we head back home. We arrived Saturday morning and John was there a little early - and we did our processing and left with our little Baby Hairy Child. Everything in Pet City Houston store was spotless clean, including the enclosures the Doggies were in - and I checked out the store really good - could find no dust or dirt. Products on display were neatly organized and the help there were Awesome. When we returned home we had her checked out by our Vet, testing and examination, and he said she is in Perfect Health. Pet City Houston (Bammel Westfield) ROCKS.

Or give it up for adoption which means it will sit in that horrible enclosure until its death then be thrown out into the trash . That is horrible this was our first time coming here not to mention they had their bearded dragons priced at around $300 just for one . And they aren't in great shape what a shame .. I never leave horrible reviews but I can't stop thinking of that bearded dragon mine is not even one yet and is very healthy in a 4X2X2 enclosure. DO BETTER .
