Christian has done jobs for us that other plumbers outright refused to do - replacing a hose bib that required tearing apart a wall, fixing a dog shower that again required digging into the wall, rebuilding a backflow pressure zone assembly. I will refer to him as "old school" because he knew what he was doing and provided excellent service. He helped me by fixing things instead of replacing things saving me a lot of money. In June 2021, a PVC nipple connecting our water meter to our main water line separated and we lost about 15,000 gallons of water. Because of our prior experiences with Adept Plumbing, I contacted Christian to schedule a visit to repair the line. As usual, Christian came out to our home quickly and assessed the problem. He concluded that the overall connection to our water meter needed to be replaced. He carefully considered how to perform the job and completed it successfully at a reasonable price. It is clear that the new piping configuration is much better than the original installation and we won't have to worry about this problem recurring. We have used Adept Plumbing for several other jobs over the years and Christian always does a great job at reasonable cost. But before that he asks good questions on the phone to make sure you don't arrange for services you don't need. Does another test upon arrival to ensure you need the big repair. Knows his stuff. Improves on previous plumber's work. Builds in measures so if it needs a repair in future- parts are more accessible. You get a sense of Christian's honesty throughout. Note: his quote was not the lowest, and it wasn't the highest either. But you could deduce from his questions and thorough explanations that you were getting a much better service than many might provide. He says he stays one man now in order to be totally accountable. I don't ever leave reviews but I feel like we should since we received excellent service. Christian and his wife came out to fix our shower handle and to replace our pressure regulator valve. Typically my husband fixes everything but I didn't know the brand of our shower fixtures. And upon my sending him a picture, he knew the brand right away and he ordered a cartridge. He was at our house within a couple of days. We were not having an emergency. This was not an easy job and they knocked it out in an hour. They cleaned up and left everything very tidy. Great service from Christian! Happy to find quality plumber who works efficiently and does not try sell services like membership clubs or other nonsense. Other plumbing companies flat rate charge based on a book to boost profits- for example, installing a toilet rebuild kit is $350 and two toilets is $700 even though the time it took was 90 minutes. Christian and his wife were recommended to me by some friends of mine. They were great. Called last night, and they came out this morning. Fixed my kitchen sink, which had been backing up horribly, and showed me what to do to help maintain it so it (fingers crossed) doesn't happen again. Christian called me back with 15 minutes of me leaving a message about my clogged toilet and was over at my house an hour and a half after that. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and really wanted to show me how everything worked. He gave me options and didn't push the upsell. His visit lasted about a half hour total. I wish I had known that he doesn't take credit or debit cards before I called him though, as I don't have checks or keep that much cash on hand. On Monday morning we were scrambling to find a plumber who could help with a gas leak AND a leaking toilet (happy Monday!!) and all the plumbers were of course dealing with very busy schedules. I had Christian out yet again last week. This time for a septic line full of roots. I had actually had a few other plumbers give their opinion on what needed to be done and after telling Christian their view he set me straight. Rather than dig down and patch the broken piece of pipe we needed to dig up and expose the entire pipe to determine where the stress which originally cracked the pipe was, replace/repair the pipe and then make adjustments in the pipe to elevate the stress that caused the break in the first place. Christian and his crew showed up early. His helpers spent all day digging up my yard and Christian spend many hours working his magic speaking a combination of English, French and Spanish. He's quiet the interesting man. All said and done they were there all day, roots were removed, pipes were repaired, sand was put in to surround the pipe and salt was packed around it as well as plastic to keep future roots away. And for piece of mind we ran the camera through the pipe one more time so that I could see everything was good. The best part: Christian's initial quote was cheap. As much as some of the other plumbers ballpark estimates for patching. When the bill arrived it came out to 30% less than the quote. Not bad for having work done 8 hours. Hopefully I won't need to call on Christian again anytime soon but any plumbing need I or any of my friends may need will get his number. read more

Just had Christian save the day here! Such a pleasure. At 5:00 PM at my business, we discovered that our toilet was clogged. We only have one bathroom and patients and staff need to clearly have access to a working restroom.
