I selected "Plumber Near Me" because of the get pricing process for projects on Yelp. Stephen H. replied to my inquiry and collected my contact information. A plumber arrived as scheduled on 6/17 for the consultation and took $70 for the visit. I was told that the parts that needed to be replaced would need to be researched due to their age which will take a few days and if they couldn't be replaced I would be quoted a price for a rebuild, however after a week I didn't hear back from them. I called them on 6/26 to ask what was going on since there was no follow-up. Though they had my email and telephone number they admitted they sent my consultation receipt to an incorrect email address. The person I spoke with corrected it on their end and sent me my receipt and told me that the plumber would be in touch with me. Another week went by so I called them today, 7/2 and asked them to refund my consultation fee since I still have not heard back from anyone from this company. I received a call from Stephen H. which he apologized for the lack of follow-up and offered to provide a refund. I appreciate the owner reaching back out to me. I've been hoping to avoid this, but I'm done with Plumber near me in Kyle. We have had good luck until this last visit. We were connecting an ice maker (completely elective service). As usual, the guys came out and gave us a report and told us the cost for the service which was $589. A little high, but we agreed. After they successfully reconnected the line, I was presented an invoice for almost $1,000. I was flabbergasted, but paid the invoice directly to the young plumber. I shouldn't have done that, but I opted to take up the increased charge with the office. The plumber added $375 to our invoice for an hour for 2 guys. There was no explanation. I was blindsided. The real problem began when I called the office the next business day and explained the incident. The person on the phone said she would have to tàlk to her boss and they would call back and discuss. That didn't happen, but I got a text that they had to talk to the owner and he would call me. That didn't happen either until several days later. He heard my story and said he would talk to the guys and get back to me. That didn't happen either. I called back and asked for a callback, as promised, that didn't happen either. Piss poor customer service, so now I am in search for a plumber who gives good, honest service and charges a fair price. Plumber Near Me-Kyle is not that company. Beware. Oh, yeah, the see guys also left an unpatched hole in the kitchen Sheetrock. That'll be another $200 repair. It's taken me almost a month to write this negative review. Aiden was the initial plumber that came to diagnose the problem and he was the one to recommend I contact Delta Faucets. He had prior experience with them sending a replacement cartridge for free, under their lifetime warranty. Sure enough. Delta was very responsive. But as Aiden told me they won't send the part to a plumber. Dewey then came out a week or so later to replace the old cartridge w new. He was great, explained the details, showed me how/why the old one failed. These guys were personable, courteous and prompt. I'd highly recommend. read more

Had PNM come take a look at a small leak under the kitchen sink. The connection to the garbage disposal was leaking. Super easy fix but I knew something was up when the guy starts saying things like, well.... I'm gonna have to take everything apart and redo all the plumbing. I said, "Nope. No you don't, just have to detach this small pvc pipe here, not everything." He went full blown, armageddon day on it. The other thing was to replace a P-Trap, which is fully exposed on the back of the water softener. No big deal. Easy job. Quoted me $1000! told me the hourly is $250/hr. That's like sending your plumbers to Harvard Law school to fix some pipes. This is crazy stuff. Stay away. read more

Interaction was friendly and professional. The service ended up taking a few hours - the longest part was waiting for a second worker to come w/ the camera.
