They discovered the leak quickly and fixed it better than it was for a very reasonable price. Our water was only off for three hours.

My neighbor and I both had our water heater replaced by Chad and his crew. Great guys, good work, fair price... what more can you ask.

Excellent, no nonsense and confident service. Several things to note. His price, at $110 is…read moreexcellent. His prices for parts were a bit on the high side, so my bill was slightly higher than anticipated because we needed lots of, yes... parts. However, he came the next morning at 8:00 a.m. Is very professional, and courteous and I felt comfortable with him. He also did an excellent job and left the space clean. I'll pay extra for that. And next time, maybe I won't need parts, ha! Truly--highly recommend.

Honestly the work is good...as it should be from a master plumber…read more The issue I have is the issue I've had with literally every plumber ever. They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. It is what it is. If I was able to do it myself, I would've. Live and learn Learn a trade kids lol

I recently had an unfortunate situation, at my home, where I found my tank water heater, was…read moreleaking out of the bottom, into the overflow reservoir, and out the overflow pipe, into the yard, at a rather heavy rate. It was near emergency status, because if it gave way, and increased flow, it would have flooded part of my home and my garage. With this information in mind, I took to Yelp to get information and bids from licensed plumbers in my area, that could assist me ASAP. I was very clear in my request and stated that I would most likely need immediate service, even though it was a late Friday afternoon and upcoming weekend. I received notification immediately from Clear and Present Plumbing, and began messaging back in forth with David, the owner. He was very professional and thoughtful in his communication, and patient with my barrage of questions. I did receive other communication from some other local, and nationally recognized companies, while speaking with David, but their responses felt generic and not as genuine. I mentioned to David that several of my neighbors had used his services before, and mentioned the company on our Facebook neighborhood page, so I felt very comfortable doing business with them based off of that. We agreed on the time it would be done, and the set cost of the services. The pricing was extremely competitive, especially since I was receiving "after hours" service. David offered me several payment and financing options, as well, which was refreshing. I was advised that his licensed plumber Travis, would be reaching out to me at a specific time frame, on Saturday. Travis contacted me ahead of schedule and advised me he was on the way to complete my project. Travis arrived with a clean work vehicle, uniform, and positive attitude. He completed the work quickly, with competency and respect for my property. He tested that everything was working properly, and cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, for any of your plumbing needs.

For all things irrigation I would highly recommend them. The latest was adding drip line irrigation to a landscaping job. They got me booked pretty fast, and the crew did a great job in a short time. The first drainage solution they installed didn't work. Before work started, I tried to get clarity on their drain design, but the receptionist couldn't answer my questions. They said the team lead would call me, but that call never came. After the first design didn't work, I had to follow up myself to get them to come back out, and it took another 3-4 weeks before they returned. They did come back and implement a better solution, but the installation skips what I understand to be standard practice: a proper burrito wrap (fabric, gravel, pipe, gravel, sand, closed wrap). Without it, I'm genuinely concerned the drain will silt up and fail within a few years, meaning I'll be digging it back up on my own dime. Again, the guys on the job were pleasant and efficient. I just wish the communication and the craftsmanship matched that. For a project like this where you're burying the work underground and hoping it holds for decades, the details matter.
