. My favorite thing on the menu hands down is the red pork tamales but the cheese and green chili tamales are a close second

The atmosphere is another highlight calm , cozy, and inviting with the feel of a comfortable home-style breakfast setting. For our meal I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, scrambled eggs and potatoes while my spouse had a BLT with potatoes. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were well prepared and enjoyable and my spouse was satisfied with their dish except how her lettuce and tomatoes were soggy. Unfortunately the chicken fried chicken was undercooked. At the time I didn't immediately realize this as the texture seemed soft due to the gravy. It wasn't until later that I recognized the issue and I ended up feeling unwell after the meal. This was very disappointing and ultimately impacted my overall experience. While the service and ambiance were strong positives the food safety concern is significant. I hope the restaurant takes extra care in the kitchen moving forward.

There is a lovely patio and plenty of seating inside but this is a popular spot for good reason! Service is cheerful and expedient throughout. We started with the Mexican cold brew coffee and it might be the best coffee I have had in the area!! It was OUTSTANDING!!! Get it! It's the perfect blend of cold brew, horchata, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon and I think I could drink it everyday!! We each ordered a skillet, I had the chili relleno skillet with chicken and pancakes for the side and they must be putting magic in those pancakes because they were special. I'm not a big pancake person and I couldn't get enough. They were fluffy and yet they didn't fall apart and I could taste the vanilla they use in the batter. The skillet was massive and delicious and the rellenos were crisp all topped with a hearty portion of expertly prepared green chili. My husband had a different skillet and modified it to add extra proteins and also the rellenos. They were happy to accommodate. What a fabulous brunch experience! I wish I lived closer! I would certainly be a regular! This place is fabulous!!!!!

And, my, oh my, as soon as we parked, we saw the line. Thank goodness, these folks were on their game and despite a decently long line to be seated, they were able to get us in pretty quickly and continued to do so with others, throughout our entire visit. This is teamwork at its best - front and back of the house killing it. We ordered brunch cocktails (bloody mary and mimosa), shared one of their seasonal specials (churro french toast) and had entrees (chilaquiles and crispy rellenos & eggs). Yes, before you think it, yes, we ordered way too much food but took some home with us. Service was really great - fast and cooked to order. Our server checked on us often but not so much that we felt rushed (despite seeing all the folks waiting to be seated, lol). It was a great meal that we'd drive back for. Brunch House has a great vibe - a bit of an upscale diner feel with really elevated food. We will def return in the fall and maybe sit outside. Do yourself a favor, add them to your short list.

Unfortunately they ran out of tofu so I ordered regular tofu (not the same), but I thought the BYO breakfast sandwich was decent. I also ordered a hot latte which came out cold. I can count on one hand the amount of times I sent something back at a restaurant - I sent it back. It came out as cool as the other side of the pillow. The 90s hip hop that was playing really got me energized in the morning but overall the place was very low energy. Only two tables occupied.

Located in a strip mall, with ample free parking, we found this little gem. There was a 20% off check-in offer that convinced us to give them a shot. On entry, we were asked if we'd been in before & given process instructions. Fast Casual - cool. Easy enough: take menus, sit (inside or out) and pick, return to the counter to order & pay (show check-in offer when ordering), take your table number & sit back down. Your food comes out, you eat, clear your table & exit. Don't think that means you'll be ignored tho. The staff are happy to help! Service was fast, staff are friendly & in excellent spirits - no grumpy people either day. Bonus for remembering us on our return. Prices were reasonable for quality & servings plenty big. They initially forgot the drinks on our 1st visit, then refunded them for the delay. This wasn't necessary but was appreciated. I mean, we did come back the next day, both to show our appreciation & because it really was fabulous. Those dippy d's - so simple, yet so good. The Cubano Quesadilla was only slightly preferred over the BIG Breakfast Burrito. On day 2, we split the 3pc & Quesadilla- perfect amount for the 2 of us. Just now getting ready to look for our lunch spot & book marked these guys for our next visit! 5/5 on everything - I do mean everything!

Seated in a booth. Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. I had to ask the hostess to ask our waitress to bring our drinks because we never saw our waitress again after placing our order. She brought the waters and 1 minute later our food arrived lukewarm. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. Would not return.

In no particular order, all of these servers have gone above and beyond. It's gratifying to walk in and feel recognized. You are welcomed here and can trust that you will be taken care of. What complements this talented team is supportive and productive leadership. I've met one of the managers, Peter, who always shakes my hand. When there was a problem with my order, another manager, Taylor Risco, swiftly and efficiently resolved the issue. The cherry on top was that Taylor Risco probably overcompensated me for what was honestly a very minor inconvenience. Together, the team here continuously demonstrates altruism, respect, and genuine care for their customers. For context, my day job is working at a brunch diner in Denver. Even so, whenever I dine out for breakfast, this First Watch is special for me and many others in this community. Kudos to this team and the culture they have cultivated.
