Breakfast menu

I came here for breakfast each day while staying in the hotel at a conference. Here's the long and short of it: -Quick service, for the most part -The Classic with chicken sausage and whole wheat toast was a great start to my day! The chicken sausage was very tasty. -They bring out a whoooole spread of jams and butter to go with your toast. It was almost overwhelming...in a good way, haha. -If you order tea, it's bagged but actually reasonably nice. Every once in a while you come upon a hotel restaurant that uses the worst bagged tea available, so I appreciated that this wasn't the case at Adamus. Solid spot!

Happy hour special - Rum and pineapple juice with the highest quality of black cherries. Delicious!

Decided to come here with my two good co-worker friends on 1/24/19 to try their Happy Hour before going to see "Kinky Boots". They are located in the Silversmith hotel. I looked up their menu in advance and it looked good so wanted to see how it was going to be. This is such a beautiful space! Wall Lighting was SWAG! Cozy chairs and couches and a funky vibe. We ordered many of the happy hour drinks and food that included flatbread, sliders and donut holes with cinnamon sprinkles. The shrimp pictured was pure happiness. Colossal sized with a yummy asian sauce. I could of had 5 orders of just that, LOL! The fried pickles were actually sweet, not dill, sliced which I'm not used to. Usually, with fried pickles I've had are whole pickles that are dill. This was an unique twist and I couldn't stop eating them! Comes with two different sauces. I loved being here. After a stressful work/school day, it's wonderful to come here and unwind. It's not your typical loud bar. Fancy and chill. I can't wait to come back here. Wondering if they have outdoor seating during the warm months. Try them out, you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

We stopped by for a work happy hour but I ended up asking for information to host a private party. This lounge is gorgeous, has plenty of space to mingle and enjoy, and Manuel behind the bar can teach a mixing class to the pros. Ask him to surprise you. You will not be disappointed.

Denver Omlet, home fries delicious!!

This is the restaurant inside of our beautiful hotel Silversmith. We were seated immediately in a booth with our own personal TV. Our waitress immediately and took our drink order which for my wife and I was coffee this morning. She provided us with a menu which had limited items, which to me is great means they do a few things really good. My wife selected the continental breakfast which consisted of wscrambled eggs, iron skillet seared potatoes, sausage links with toast. I got the Denver Omelet eggs, ham, peppers, onions with cheese it also comes with the pan seared potatoes. The food was delicious. The iron pan seared potatoes were as we make them in Kentucky. Our breakfast ended with our waitress providing us with our to go cup of coffee with a smile. I would recommend you try this restaurant especially if you are staying in the Silversmith Hotel Chicago Downtown. Our coffee was endless as our waitress worked hard to please us.

Chicken sliders for happy hour

Adamus has a very reaonsably-priced happy hour, so my friends have come here twice to enjoy it. The happy hour differs from the online version of the menu, and includes $9 appetizers, $7 rail cocktails, $6 wines, and $5 beers. FOOD: The margherita flatbread is pretty good, although It was a teensy bit doughier than I like my flatbreads. I wouldn't call it artisanal is presentation, but it certainly gets the job done. The chicken sliders do not feature chicken patties as most chicken sliders do. These are rather thin cuts of (what I assume is) chicken breast that are not breaded. Also the cuts aren't particularly well seasoned, but the bacon helps to counteract that. The food here is what you might expect of bar food. It's good, but not great. DRINKS: The drinks here are straightforward-- I've only ever has the wines, rails, and beers that are on special, so I cannot speak for the cocktails. SERVICE: Service here is slow if you sit at a table or any of the lounge chairs that are not at the bar. It got to a point where I was just ordering two wines at a time, because trying to wait our server out was proving difficult. Eventually, we just started leaving the table to order our drinks and food. It was kind of uncalled for because there weren't enough people sitting around the bar to justify the wait time. But, I didn't mind walking over so I'm not really complaining, just informing. ATMOSPHERE: Its a beautiful lobby in a great location. The decor is nice. Its dimly lit, with average volume, so its a good place for a date or a girl's night. Honestly, I was a little disappointed about the discrepancies between the online and in-location menus. I think that should be updated online. But all in all, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel lobby bar in the loop. And the happy hour lasts from 5pm-8pm, which I also appreciate. So we'll probably be back, and I'm going to try some of the other menu items for diversity.

Best Happy Hour!

One of the BEST Happy Hours in the city. Hours are 5pm to 8pm which I think is more ideal than other happy hours that end at 6 or 7pm. Lots of selections too! See the menu photo I posted.

Don't think I will be coming back, the place was pretty empty for after work drinks. Service was lackluster. We were never offered water, at one point I went and grabbed waters from their water station for hotel guests.

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. It's was slow so I don't think they were stressing with too many tables. That kind of place should knock your socks off - but it was on the low end of mediocre. I wouldn't go there again for food. Maybe it's a decent place to go to the bar but since I don't drink I can't help much on that end.

Advertises as $100+ pricing so I'm like ok this is gonna be a nice dinner. What you don't see unless you're looking closely - It's in a medium end Marriott - not mad at that but it's not a stand alone restaurant. The menu looked absolutely nothing like they show on the restaurant website. It was cheap looking. Same food options as website. The ambiance was well designed but - hotel restaurant vibes. Ordered the tuna crudo. Nothing to write home about. The mussels - I'm maybe gonna wake up with food poisoning tomorrow. The bucatini pesto pasta looked like regurgitated peas baby food and overcooked pasta. I sent it back kindly. And the chicken thighs were cooked. Like, that's all I can say. So I paid, still hungry. Cause the chicken thighs had basically no meat. Crudo is naturally so small and the mussels equally. Left and am now at Hampton Social eating a delicious lobster roll and tomato bisque. The highlight! The people sitting next to me asked me if o was a good critic! Haha - best compliment ever! But disappointment of a restaurant.

We were so happy with everything! Our server was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and on top of their game! We never waited for anything. They were immediately refilling our waters, offering more bread, removing dirty plates, replacing silverware, and offering the next course. It was perfect! The views!!! I think there's not a table in NoMi that doesn't have an amazing view. The main, large window faces the lake (East). Arriving just at 7, you get the full affect of the city, and lake, and then the sunset and lights of the buildings. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't get enough of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, but honestly it could have been a pit and I wouldn't have noticed. You'll be focused on the views for the entire evening. The food!!! Everything is very fresh. It's all well-prepared. Everything was delicious. There's a good variety of dishes to choose from. Plenty of healthy, low-carb options. We each ordered our own appetizers. I had the crispy Maitake mushrooms and my husband had the mussels. We both loved our food and left nothing on our plates. Excellent choices, that we highly recommend. As our main course we shared the sushi platter. The seafood was fresh and the sushi didn't have too much rice. It was the perfect amount of food with our appetizers. They have an extensive wine and drink menu. For drinks I had a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and my husband had a red blend. For dessert we weren't really hungry enough to eat anything else but my husband wanted a pallet cleanser. They have a few sorbets. My husband settled on the cherry cola sorbet. They brought it out with a little chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary" in French. They did not add it to our bill. Very sweet of them. It was probably one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. The bill was about $230 before tip. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.

We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.
