I am a real-estate agent in Boston and often have clients looking to update their homes before selling to increase appeal or after buying to customize it to their preferences. After my first experience with Adamo Stone Design, I am now excited to recommend them to all of my clients! In an effort to increase the value of a home in Milton, one client was in desperate need of a quick kitchen counter renovation. Knowing this would not be their forever-home, they let cost and deadline drive their decision. They found a cheap stone company south of Boston. Once the deposit was sent, the stone company barely reached out and finally installed a low quality counter using an unapproved slab selection. Not only did they leave a mess but when my client asked for a certificate of insurance, they couldn't provide one. Red flag! My clients then contacted me very stressed about the renovation, so I contacted a good friend of mine who has been in the interior design industry forever. Luckily he recommended Adamo Stone Design to us. This time my clients wanted a second opinion, so I agreed to accompany them to Adamo's showroom in Dorchester. When my clients and I visited Adamo, we were immediately shown a large on-site inventory as opposed to showroom samples. This helped expedite the process and provide several cost efficient options that would appeal to buyers yet still be within budget. They were then able to template, deliver, and install the following week. We made sure ahead of time that the company was fully insured, which it is, and when it came time to install, they removed the previous counter and left the home looking immaculate. So what did I learn? Always advise clients to factor in the reputation of a company they are choosing to update their home. Yes, cost and timing are very important but this high-end showroom was very approachable and offered a large selection of materials for many budgets. Adamo Stone Design listened to my clients' situation and helped them come up with a solution to increase the value of their home without going over budget. If a company has been around for a while, it is for a reason. read more

I recently purchased a commercial condo f an office/showroom for my business. I decided to go with a granite desk and credenza to give it an upscale look to match the quality products we represent. I was off Cape for a function and stopped in to Adamo Stone on my way. t was a great experience with endless inventory to choose from. I had brought a piece of the flooring I had installed to match up the stone. The owner himself walked with me out to the yard. Within a minute he showed the two he recommended. They were both perfect with the floors. I asked when I could have them delivered the Cape after checking his schedule he told me he would have it cut and shaped that week and delivered by Thursday at 4:00. Sure enough they showed up at 4:00 on Thursday as promised. They brought it in and set in place, took all the packaging with them and were very professional. I would highly recommend Adamo Stone for any of your needs. read more

Adamo Stone Design went above and beyond. When we were in the process building our home it was a builders package and we were not happy with who the contractor specked out the allowances with. With that being said we actively sought out Adamo. Excellent service and product. From the start, It was a pleasure dealing with the knowledgeable staff and professionalism. They are friendly and were eager to help as we selected material for our countertops from a very impressive variety of stock onsite at their location. Throughout the process the staff were customer-focused, provided ideas from selecting slab to template/oriented and available to answer any questions. They went above and beyond my expectations in customer service, quality products, and delivering on-time. The owner was involved during the process. I highly recommend Adamo Stone Design to contractors and homeowners. read more

Rick and his team did a phenomenal job. The granite they installed in our recently renovated kitchen in Danvers, MA. is totally unique and perfectly installed, absolutely makes the kitchen from a visual standpoint. Rick's stone selection was the best. He and his crew outlined the process and schedule in detail and met every mark. When an electrician screwed up the placement and installation of a code required outlet on the counter, he threw up his hands and said sorry, can't do anything about it now (really...). Rick got creative with the stone cutting and recommended an electrical box that completely covered for the electricians poor work. Rick and his team go above and beyond! read more

These guys were amazing! We had researched a number of stone companies for our kitchen renovations .. and could not find a stone we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. Rick at Adamo (the owner) was amazing. He had so much selection .. with great advice on what pieces would look best in the beachy decor we were looking for and at a great price! He also recommended a hone finish to our granite that added the finishing touches to that beach look! The install went perfect .. and we love the end product! We would recommend Adamo to anyone looking for extreme quality products and service at great prices. Thanks Rick and your team! read more

I have been working with Rick, Chowki, and the crew at Adamo stone for 25 years. The one thing I can say about all of them is that getting it right is the only option no matter what it takes. They are alway willing to tell it like it is, if a stone is the wrong one for the application or the quality of the stone might not be the right fit. They always have worked to please the customer if it meant working on a tight schedule or to get a job done in a time frame that is usually not attainable. They have always been one of the contractors that I have worked with that I knew would just get it done and it would be done right. read more

I give Adamo the highest rating in the kitchen and bath industry in Boston. They installed my kitchen countertops and I absolutely love them. I went to numerous different fabricators and wholesalers, none of them seemed to know what I was talking about and kept referring me elsewhere. Adamo was the only place that had service and product all in one. They are the only fabrication company who have their own stones. I love them! Great selection and affordable prices. Rick and Chowki are experts and I referred them to all of my friends. If you need a new kitchen or bath countertop then definitely go with Adamo! read more

As an architect, I've worked with many stone fabricators for over 30 years. This time involved special detailing and an oversized, 800-pound slab for our own kitchen counters. Adamo's shop work and on-site work were excellent. Fitting, pattern matching between pieces, and leveling were truly superior. Fair pricing, professionalism from their whole staff (it took six to get the large slab in place!), installation when agreed, and just the finished project I wanted. Nice people to work with, and nothing I wouldn't do again. Great project. Mike H. read more

I am a contractor in the Greater Boston South Shore Area and this was my first time working with Adamo Stone. They came highly recommended and they exceeded my expectations. It is very rare to come across a fabricator who has their own inventory on hand to choose from. They have a great selection of stone with a very knowledgeable staff. I have worked with several companies in the past and from now I on I will always recommend Adamo. Right from the beginning to end I was impressed, I give them 5 stars. read more

Every day I use my new kitchen I'm reminded of how talented Rick and his team are at Adamo Stone. Not only did he help me find beautiful stone, but his patience and experience helped me make the right decisions. The counters he did in our kitchen are the focal point of the room. I love it so much, we asked Rick to do the stone for the kitchen and bathrooms for a Cape renovation, which turned out equally beautiful. If your job requires something special, then Adamo Stone is who you need to call. read more

We purchased our granite through Adamo Stone prior to Christmas and we're so glad we did. The sales representative offered us a great deal of information and assistance. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us. He personally templated our counters and was at the job site for the installation. His installation team worked seamlessly together and they did a professional job in addition to taking the time to adjust the granite for the carpentry flaws. Thank you to everyone at Adamo! read more

I learned about Adamo Stone from a neighbor and that it had been named Best of Boston for multiple years. Their work is impeccable! I've used them for two projects, both requiring a significant amount of creativity in design and installation. Owner Rick went the extra mile to source unique materials and maximize the outcome. His installation team arrives on time, works fast and neat, and has shown themselves to be very clever and easy to work with. Highly recommended! read more

Very professional. I toured the yard and was able to secure TWO great tops. One for my outdoor bar area and one for my basement bar. They were installed within a week and they look AMAZING. The outside bar area was very tricky as they had to crane it over my house to gain access for installation, but it came out perfect. My dealings with the owner were casual and stress-free. I HIGHLY recommend the folks at Adamo Stone. read more
