Elmer at Valle Builders was a great partner: very hands on on all of the construction/build work; extremely communicative, especially around the timelines of various subcontractors and inspectors; and transparent when the inevitable change order situations came up. He has also collected a great set of subcontractor partners (including electrician, plumber, painter, tiler, and even an unexpected roofer when we realized that we needed to cut into our roofline to vent our new bathroom fan). We have a number of other renovations we'd like to do with our house, and without hesitation, we will reach out to Valle Builders when the time is right. We whole-heartedly recommend Valle Builders!

He offers a quote over pictures via text. His rate was one of the most competitive with availability in the near term. There was another company that I was considering, but decided to go with Northern Tile Works because Alex was very professional in communication. On the day of the appointment, Alex texted me an ETA. He came to inspect the issue and started working right away. You could tell that he is extremely detail oriented and takes pride in his hard work! He was very respectful of our property, which is always an added bonus when working with contractors. He even went beyond what we asked and helped fix a bathroom counter mold issue. We are very pleased with his work! I was a little hesitant with the booking initially because not many Yelp reviews here, but he has many Google reviews. Adding my review here, since I highly recommend his company! I'd definitely hire him again in the future, if needed! Alex takes check and can issue an invoice upon request. Thank you Alex!

Alex was even able and willing to replace a baseboard in the bedroom that had been damaged for a long time. I'd be OK if he gave me a date for work but he hasn't. I think I hired him Fall 2024. He started work in Spring 2025. I've posted some new photos of issues. I'm posting ones that are easy to see on camera. There are various places where tapping on the stucco returns a hollow knock. Frustrating.

After a Servpro demolition team throughout all the damaged furniture, carpets, wall boards and wall insulation and treated for mold, I started looking to hire a construction company to rebuild: insulation, wall boards, damaged sub flooring, plastering, painting, flooring, and the damaged baseboard heating. Using Yelp and Angie I requested a work proposal and cost estimate from 6 contractors, half of which never got back to me. LB Special Projects owner took time with me to explain the work to be done and answer all my questions. It was clear that he knew his business down to as much details as I wanted to know. His company went beyond the work I requested because they have a high standard of quality. They know you'll be living with the work they do. It's apparent from other reviews that this is a 5 star company. If you need tile... Upon walking into DiFlumeri tile, I was slightly concerned that there wouldn't be as many options. Some of the other tile stores are twice the size of this store. I was COMPLETELY wrong! They have an excellent selection of beautiful quality tiles and are extremely well versed in their trade (so be sure to walk in and talk to someone immediately about your ideas as there are items that are tucked away and not readily visible). We worked predominantly with Basilo and were so impressed with him. He's knowledgeable and offers options that work for the customer, period. No up selling, no pressure, and no judgement. He never made us feel like were taking up his time and was just super helpful (this on a busy Saturday). This store truly is a rare find! Last night after work (they are conveniently open until 8PM on Tues & Thurs), we purchased some amazing Italian tile for our bathroom at a price that was the best around for the quality purchased, seriously. I honestly will never set foot into another tile store in this state (already been to most of them at this point). While others are personable or offer a big selection or are price competitive...
