My elderly father accidentally fell and broke his parents' heirloom marble coffee table that he'd…read morepainstakingly moved from place to place for decades. My father was heartbroken. I promised him I would have the marble pieces shaped, polished, and distributed to family members as treasured mementos of our grandparents. The thought filled him with great joy. I brought the table pieces to Stonegates even though this isn't something any marble shop would normally do. Stonegates was warm, encouraging, and supportive of my project. They gave me a fair quote up front and held to it. They did their very best to make as many usable, interesting shapes from the pieces so that everybody could have something to use as a cutting board, or coaster, or bookend, or paperweight. The entire process went smoothly, and the family is just so happy with the results. Stonegates' assistance turned what was a very sad situation into heirlooms we will all treasure and hand down to the next generation. Thank you so much, Stonegates, for all your help!

One is already causing discoloration. I have treated this granite like a baby, carefully and consistently cleaning according to instructions. Now, I have been informed that the product and work are not guaranteed after closing although the builder claimed a 1 year warranty when we purchased the property. I would recommend that other developers and individuals choose a business that stands behind its products & work. Stonegate has come around and worked with me to make a sincere effort to address the problems. I appreciate that they have stayed in touch and recently been proactive in reaching out.

After a week it was installation time, guys came, put the tops in place and I noticed that 2 pieces were cut short, waited for "the big boss" to come by and determine 1 piece needed to be replaced, no biggie. For the other piece, which was a 10' run with sink and stove return, he said he could "fix it to fit"...HA! Well here we are on day 2 and the countertop looks worse then it did yesterday..... Tried talking to the the "big boss" and got no where, very frustrating... Forced to settle with it and try to make my own adjustments for the tiled backsplash to cover the large gaps between the countertop edge and the wall just to get the kitchen finished. Not happy!

Sandro is such a pleasant guy to work with, we are very appreciative of their service and highly recommend them to everyone.

They also repointed my brick foundation and installed a chimney cap. I am very pleased with the work they did and now I am going to be hiring them again to install a patio and walkway with pavers as well as have my driveway repaved. I have been looking for a quality mason for years since I have many clients (I am a Realtor and I own a property management company) that have asked me for a good mason contact which I was not able to provide until now. Steve will tell you he got permits, but he did not for my job and when we parted ways before completion, he kicked in my door to collect his tools rather than coordinate with me for an amicable pick-up. I tried to work with Steve, but he is very hostile and he is a not to be trusted. He also claimed that he got materials cheaper because they "fell off the truck". I had no desire to use stolen property to renovate mine. Our property was in NH.

Bruno may not mean to scam you, but he will take your money and then do nothing for months. He will not apply for permits, and he will tell you your town/city is the problem. He will blame every delay or broken promise on circumstances outside of his own control. During that time, he will use your money to finish his other projects or (probably) pay his other bills. If you ask for your money back, he will tell you he has bought materials but never provide any proof. If you call Bruno out for his poor performance, he will gaslight you and again blame everyone but himself, including you. I decided to work with Bruno despite a few bad reviews. I figured everyone makes mistakes. But when Bruno makes them, he will not make them right. The only reason I have not pursued a lawsuit against him is that lawyers cost money and Bruno has a history of not paying the settlements against him. It's possible that Bruno has improved his business practices in the year since we last interacted, but I wouldn't bet on it. Neither should you.

We had our kitchen renovated and even after we hit a major snag and had a few hiccups, they remained dedicated to completing the job well, rather than rushing through. The crew was respectful and we always felt like they really worked hard to ensure we were happy. Beckmann construction very clearly knows what they are doing and are great at it.
