Looking for a dog trainer who is professional, and knows his stuff? Look no further Adam is your guy! Jasper, my two-year-old Lab completed an eight-week program. We met Adam for an evaluation after my sister decided to move forward with training her pup. Adam recommended both dogs be trained to maintain consistency and structure for both pets on the same property. Boy, am I glad we did. After meeting Adam, it was evident that he knew what he was talking about. During these eight weeks we worked on building a solid foundation that consists of a well-balanced relationship to include structure, trust, and leadership. I learned the leash was not only a tool to hold Jasper back rather than a tool for communication. Jasper is a confident happy go lucky dog. However sometimes his confidence can get him into trouble. We worked on getting Jasper comfortable with being in the back seat and allowing me to guide him. It wasn't always rainbows and butterflies but with Adams guidance and reassurances I was able to be more confident in my leadership. Every session started with updates where Adam would listen and provide feedback. Some of that feedback has stuck with me well after our program has ended. His energy was second to none, always giving Jasper an opportunity to comply while holding him accountable for what was expected and praising when successful. Now Jasper has a solid recall, walks in a beautiful heel, and manages stressful situations with ease. I no longer must think twice about bringing him along with me. I will add that when we are out and about we always get compliments and statements like "wow, your dog is so well behaved. My dog would never do that" to which I respond with "we have a great dog trainer, Adam trains dogs, check him out." I wholeheartedly trust and recommend Adam and hope you do the same you won't be disappointed.

First, we must apologize to Adam as this review is long overdue. We worked with Adam last summer with our one-year-old Husky/Pitbull mix, Summer. We were struggling with recall, leash behavior, and mild reactivity with other dogs. We worked together for a total of about 6 weeks and from the start, Adam's energy and approach to training completely sold us. Adam pretty quickly figured out how smart Summer was and talked us through her behaviors and how he would correct for them, making sure we understood the process the whole time. He was blunt when necessary about our own behaviors, taught us his techniques and built our confidence to where we could form our own relationships with Summer built upon respect and structure. Almost 8 months later, we can definitely say this changed our lives. We bring Summer everywhere we can and are never worried about her behavior. We were worried at first that with so much structure we might lose her personality, but we've noticed it get bigger (if that's possible) because she trusts us. We ebb and flow with how strict we are and we've found a balance that works for us; if we notice her getting lazy, we just restrict her freedoms a bit and we get back pretty quick. She is happier, we are happier, and we owe it all to Adam.

We were referred to Adam by a friend who adopted two poodle puppies in February. We were also thinking of adopting 2 puppies ( Old English Sheepdogs). Before we even brought the puppies home we contacted Adam and he gave us ideas on how to deal with 2 puppies at once. We decided to have Adam board and train the puppies in his home. This was the best decision we have ever made. They were good dogs, but had a crazy amount of energy and were very stubborn. After the first two weeks we could see a huge improvement in their behavior. At the end of four weeks they were so well behaved it was like a miracle! Adam was so awesome with the puppies they came home trained but still had all their goofiness. Adam has changed our lives in a very positive way, he not only trains dogs he trained us as owners. We can take Goose and Echo anywhere, we can go out to eat and they will just lay down next to us and chill until it's time to go. They greet people in such a gentle way, never jumping or being obnoxious. I honestly would never have a dog again that is not trained. I highly recommend Adam he is the best!

8 Sessions. That's all it took for my dog to be able to have perfect off leash training amongst many other fantastic obedience behaviors. I get stopped constantly by people who compliment me on how well trained my dog is. This is all thanks to Adam and his fantastic training style. He explains everything from the psychology of the dog to the dynamic of your relationship together. Truly a fantastic dog trainer. Highly highly highly recommend!

Now she is less far less anxious and a happy bully.

We had tried what felt like everything and his separation anxiety was so bad that it got to the point that my partner and I basically gave up our social lives, had to coordinate with one another one of us would be going to the market or if it would be a trip where we both can go but someone sits in the car with our dog. We met the team at K9 Logic Dog Training and they assessed our dog and determined what kind of training program would be best for him to address his separation anxiety and the other skills we wanted to work on. Within a week we noticed progress. We finally were able to leave the house for an hour and go to the market together. Week by week the time has gradually gotten longer where we have been able to leave him alone for longer periods of time to reclaim our social life back. I was skeptical at first, but after that first week I became a believer. We are so happy with the results that for the purpose of just giving him structure and routine we signed him up for more classes and he LOVES being at school. We've also participated in the weekend group training sessions and they are so helpful to not only give our dog routine, but it's a great way to reinforce structure and keep him sharp with everything he learned at school. Signing up for training with K9 Logic Dog Training was the best decision we could made for our dog to set him up for success.

Our dog, Comet, struggled with leash reactivity after a bad encounter, and walks had become really stressful. This program made a huge difference! Comet spent one full day a week at the facility, and we worked on reinforcing everything at home in between sessions. We worked with Shea, who was amazing, knowledgeable, supportive, and great at explaining how to handle Comet's reactivity. The 30-minute sessions at pickup were especially helpful and really built our confidence. The pricing felt very reasonable for the value, and we also love the community they've created. Comet has made major progress, and we're excited to keep building on everything she's learned!

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Jesse and Proud Paws. During our initial…read moreconsultation, we explained our specific situation: a young puppy in a home with a 2-year-old toddler, and a desire to build good habits early before problems could develop. Jesse assured us that she had experience with this kind of dynamic. She strongly encouraged us to sign up for her "Puppy Rockstar" package which is eight sessions for $1,360. She came across as personable, confident, and knowledgeable, so we trusted her and paid in full upfront (though this was optional). Despite carefully following the program (including more than triple the 10 min minimum daily training time she advised) our puppy's behavior deteriorated. After three sessions, it was clear her training methods (which relied entirely on treat-based reward and offered no alternate tools or structure) weren't effective for our situation. We made the hard decision to go with a more intensive program elsewhere. When we contacted Jesse to explain our situation and request a prorated refund for the five unused sessions, she refused, citing a strict "no refunds" clause in her paper work packet. Her only offer was to put our remaining sessions on hold and extend their expiration, even though we made clear that we had already moved to other training out of necessity. It is important to note that the contract also included a clause discouraging us from working with or even taking advice from any other trainer during the program. In our view, this kind of exclusivity, especially in a situation involving a toddler and a rapidly escalating behavioral issue, was unreasonable and not in the best interest of our family or the puppy. Ultimately, we had to prioritize safety and act against the restriction as quickly as possible, even though we initially agreed in good faith. I made this clear to Jesse and offered a fair compromise, in my opinion, of allowing her to retain payment for an additional unused session as a gesture of goodwill. She declined. I voiced my frustration and, frankly, shock at her stance. When I told her I would be leaving a review of our experience, she said that doing so was "threatening her business." I clarified that we were sharing our honest experience so others could make informed choices. My wife and I don't see it that way-we believe sharing an honest account is important for other families deciding who to welcome into their homes with training. Her communication about resolving these issues reflects a rigid and transactional mindset rather than a client-focused one. That was particularly disappointing given how kind and understanding she initially seemed. I strongly advise others to approach with caution: If you choose to work with Proud Paws, I recommend avoiding prepayment, requesting a copy of any contract, and understanding there may be little room to adapt if things don't go as expected. Check out my other reviews-I hate leaving negative ones and have only done so once before. I much rather spread positive news with people and typically have much better luck on yelp finding the right providers. As an update: our puppy has been with a new trainer for just one week, and the change has been dramatic. She's calmer, better behaved, and able to interact positively with our toddler. It's been a complete turnaround. We're beyond relieved that we made the change, though still hurting from the way our family was treated here. Photo from that visit-because every review needs one moment of joy-attached.

Greyson was reactive, and even the jingle of another dog's collar or hearing a bark would immediately set him off. Walks and outings were stressful because I was constantly worried about how he would react. From the very beginning, Emily was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both of us succeed. Greyson has completed private training sessions and a board and train with Emily and her team, and the progress has been incredible. One of the biggest improvements has been in his reactivity. Since working with Emily, he has become much more focused, calmer, and better able to work through situations that would have previously triggered a reaction. Not only has his reactivity improved, but his obedience, confidence, and overall behavior have as well. What I liked most was that Emily didn't just work with Greyson. She also took the time to explain things to us and show us how to continue the training at home. What I appreciated most was that Emily was honest about the process. She didn't promise overnight results or a quick fix. Instead, she gave us a clear plan, realistic expectations, and the tools we needed to continue helping Greyson succeed. She was always available to answer questions and support us throughout the process. It's clear that Emily and her team genuinely care about the dogs they work with and want both the dogs and their owners to be successful. As a dog owner, there is no better feeling than knowing your dog is in good hands, and I completely trust Emily and her team with Greyson. The amount of dedication, knowledge, and care they put into their work is amazing. We are beyond grateful for everything they have done for Greyson and our family. If you're looking for a trainer who truly cares, takes the time to understand your dog, and delivers real results, I highly recommend Emily's K9 Training. Working with Emily and her team has been one of the best investments we've made for Greyson, and we look forward to continuing our training journey with them.

We enrolled Poppy, our 4 month old puppy at the time, in their 10-day reverse board-and-train program. I wasn't expecting her to come out perfectly trained in 10 days, but I did expect the level of intensive training they advertised on their site. The trainer we got was sweet and had a calm energy, which I liked since Poppy was skittish around new people. But the actual training didn't come close to matching what was promised. We have security cameras at home, so I could see exactly what was happening while we were gone. Most days were only 5-10 minutes of actual training. The rest of the time the trainer was watching TV or on her phone. If we'd wanted someone to watch TV with our puppy, we could've asked a neighbor for free. By the end of it, Poppy knew "sit" and "down" and not much else. The separation anxiety and potty training work we'd specifically talked about before signing up hadn't really progressed. I want to be clear, my problem wasn't that she wasn't fully trained in 10 days. It's that we paid for a specific service and didn't get it. I emailed the owner, Jeff, sent him the video clips, and asked for a partial refund. He wouldn't address any of it directly, just offered services that were already included in our package and turned down the refund. Then he was rude to my husband on the phone, which threw me because my husband is about as easygoing as they come and almost never gets worked up over anything. I also found it concerning that the exit document I was given included a clause saying clients agreed not to post negative reviews. I never signed it, but seeing that made me question how much honest customer feedback actually makes it online. Super shady. We ended up going with a different trainer afterward, and Poppy turned out exactly how we'd expected her to after actual, consistent training. Maybe we just got unlucky with the trainer. I can only go off our own experience, but between the training we actually received and how they handled it afterward, I wouldn't recommend them.
