Contacted APC via yelp and received an almost instant reply. The rep was courteous to my schedule and availability and we were able to schedule a visit with no issues. APC reached out to me prior to the techs arrival. Once the tech arrived he was super attentive to my concerns and needs. He assured me I was not the only person with these concerns and would take a look in my attic and crawl space to critter proof it. I was happy with the techs suggestions and quote and they were able to schedule me for next day service ( A++ in my book). I was not home the next day but my wife did mention they went over there plan of action with her and in no time it was completed. Traps where set for any residual critters with a scheduled follow up visit and more to follow. Active pest control is INCREDIBLE!!!! My service technician Bobby Brown came out on time and he went beyond the level of service that I was expecting (WAY BEYOND). I'm so impressed with this young man and he level of professionalism and knowledge. On my original quote they had quoted to close up 7 openings and upon further inspection I needed to close more. Bobby called the field manager out and they inspected further and APC honored the original quote and closed up ALL my openings. In the summer, I installed new grass that may have come with a flea problem, yuck! I researched several companies and decided to go with Active pest control and they did not disappoint! Their customer service is TOP NOTCH! They're reliable, friendly, accommodating, and their price is fair. They took care of my problem on one visit but I had them keep coming out every month during the spring/summer season. I love that I don't need to be home for them to come spray my yard and I absolutely LOVE that they call me with reminders that they're coming. The email invoices are also a plus! Same day Update: I was super impressed with Mayra the rep at Active pest control that immediately called me and followed up on my issues and gave the perfect service that I expected. I wanna update this review for the fact that it was probably only one person that ruined my complete review to begin with. And again their treatment works. They are honoring my credit now and am pleased with her concern for me as a customer. Luckily Infinity was not the only employee there. Just beware of her. Mayra and the other treatment workers here can get 5 stars in my book. We haven't made the decision to keep service yet but I appreciate the better service. Old: Note: This review is about the customer service agent on the toll free line, named Infinity. Initially, it was a call to basically ask me to hurry up and make a decision on when to service or continue, but it led to me inquiring about a $50 credit I was suppose on my account for opening 2 accounts with them, but she wasn't very cooperative and aggressive. Not the service/attitude I need for my business or home, I chose to move on. There was another clerk I talked to that was suppose to transfer the credit but didn't so they didn't honor it, so be careful with opening multiple accounts, because it could get confusing. I am giving an extra star because the pest control does work for the quarterly periods they were here, but not worth dealing with Infinity the office clerk. so, if you ask me if I can give stars for Progress then I will give extra. There's plenty of pest control companies out there and yes its hard to find a good one, but its trial and error. The employees there come and go that are coming to service the office and some weren't even familiar with our needs. The sales man Yuki that sold it to me was not clear with the companies policy and didn't explain a lot of details, but obviously just wanted to make a sale. I guess it goes back to reading the fine print that I never have time to go. Nice guy, but not informative. I see other reviews that Yuki is still with the company but Infinity told me he's no longer there. Go figure! In the end thank you Active pest control for servicing us with getting rid of the water bugs and cockroaches, but no thank you Infinity for your attitude. read more

Living in an older house by a hill, there have been a few "pest" problems in the past. This year, we've had a couple unwelcome visitors inside the house. I contacted Active Pest Control by e-mail and they got back to me right away. Alex Nunez came out and assessed the situation. During this pandemic, Alex was very considerate of wearing a mask and keeping his distance while communicating. Was very punctual both times he came out. He looked around the house and on the roof checking for holes. Found many points of entry. He sealed up those holes, cracks and gaps and laid out some traps. Hopefully that'll do the trick. My unit had an explosion of German roaches over the summer. I was only home once a week so they loved being left alone in a warm, dark apartment. So gross! I called Active and had them come spray and get on the monthly maintenance plan. The first technician who came out explained their process thoroughly and what to expect in regards to sightings during the first 10 days. He came back 5 days after the first bomb/spray with additional poison to get the last little ones. Im happy to report that those suckers are long gone! My condo is in an older building in Long Beach so unfortunately bugs are going to be an issue which is why I went with the monthly plan. We have used Active Pest Control twice and have been satisfied both times. The first time was when we had a cockroach infestation in 2018. Our technician came out and gave us the full run down of the steps and gave us an estimate of when we can return back to the house after he ran the mist. They did a follow up 2 weeks later to make sure that all expectations were met. Now 2 years later there are still no signs of cockroaches. Additionally we had many black widows along the eaves of the house and that has been greatly reduced. We use to have at least 20 coming out every evening but these days there are 1 or 2 every now and then. Theyre outside so you cant control them so i think the reduction is a success! And more recently we had a wasp problem with some of their nests being about the size of baseballs. I contacted Active Pest Control in the evening and they immediately arranged to come out early next morning and took care of our problem. We no longer have a wasp problem. The speed, price, and results were outstanding. I will reach out to them again for any future pest control. read more

This is the 2nd time we used their services. The 1st time was for termite inspections for purchasing the house. Good customer service and they were able to expedite the termite report when I needed it in a bind. I called them again when we moved in to the house to remove a few of wasps nest around the house. Alex and his partner came on time and was really patient with me (I was on a conf. Call). They were able to explain to me what type of service they will be doing and what was the total charges going to be. Not only they got rid of the wasps nest, they helped to check for other pests around the house and sprayed some treatment for spiders and ants around the perimeter of the house.
