I need a urine stain removed in a corner of my sectional.Agent told me that one of the staff is nearby and can come same day. RJ was very knowledgeable and explained process, cost $250 (flat rate) The sectional is clean and he offered to clean it for $500. I asked for a discount and told him I only needed the stained area done.I relied on his expertise to do the job. 15 minutes on the job he said stains won't come off! cost- $220 for a 15 minute job!He was so in a hurry to leave with my $230 that he did not even give me an estimate for my tiles to be cleaned in the future. So after paying nearly 400 dollars. This company damaged my carpet, left crud all over my wood floor, scuffed my walls, and didn't even get some of the stains out. I got a quote to have my carpet repaired which was several hundred dollars over what I paid to have my carpet cleaned. Rather than deal with this company again I simply asked for a refund, which they won't give. Would never recommend this company. Update- Their carpet repair guy said that he could repair my carpet but that it won't match my existing carpet. Spoke to customer service and explained this is unacceptable. They want me to just accept a crap job and non matching carpet and a partial refund. Not going to happen! read more

My friend referred me to this place because she said they did an awesome job and she loved the citrus scent and pet friendly method of cleaning they used. The technician, RJ, was very detailed and professional. He assessed my carpets and we decided a Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) was needed since we have pets and two young children. I was so thrilled to see that the stains were lifted and the carpets were so clean! I seriously was thinking of replacing the carpets on my stairs because the dogs love to hang out on the landing and lick their paws, thus creating a large soiled spot. I didn't think that could be removed but it was. RJ was meticulous and made sure he got the spots out that were not highly visible - like the edges of the laundry room, under the beds, in the closets and even removed all of the tiny pet hair near the baseboards. I would highly recommend this carpet cleaning service. Ask for RJ! Also, my friend was right - the citrus scent is subtle and clean. read more

Truly a positive experience with them. It's our second time having active chem dry, taking care of our carpet and rugs. You can see the difference immediately and drying doesn't take long either. I was extremely happy with my entire appointment! The technicians RJ and Fredrick showed up promptly at 9AM and immediately got to work. RJ was knowledgeable and friendly in answering all my questions regarding a quote, the cleaning process, and billing. The appointment took 2 hours for deep cleaning 2 bedrooms, living room, set of stairs, and a 3-seater couch. It would have been a shorter appointment but RJ and Fredrick took extra time to tackling the stains on my couch. They were so professional and worked so effectively as a team. Thank you to Lily who helped me setup the appointment. She was friendly and helpful in answering all my initial questions. This was my first time using this company and it won't be my last. I highly recommend their service. read more

They did the greatest job! We were amazed at the stains that they were able to get out! Not to mention that they responded quickly and were able to come out the same week. Rj, our technician, was great and had a great attitude. He really worked hard and did a thorough job even despite the 100 degree weather. Couldn't be any happier! read more

I am very pleased with Active Chem-Dry! I was the last appointment of the day and the guys came towards the end of the 4 hour window I was quoted. Lilly called to let me know they were still on another job, but they would come right after. It was a nice gesture and they still made it in the estimated time window. RJ showed up and apologized for running behind schedule and had a smile on his face when he shook my hand. They went to work right away and the quote the gave me was the price I was charged. They even did a few freebies as a thank you for my patience. They worked way later than I imagined they should, just to make sure it was done properly. In the end, the carpets looked brand new and exceeded my expectations. A+ for customer service and A+ on the cleaning. While I don't look forward to seeing my kids dirty up the carpets again, at least I know who to call when the time comes! Thanks again! read more

Honest review I tried this one because of its excellent review. That's why I think I need to share my experience. 1. Never answered my calls throughout the whole communication process. It is not usual for a business to not answer the call but only do "call back". Even when you call a busy doctors office your phone will be pick up and say "can you hold?" 2. Finally got a call back and made appointment for a few days later, I got a call on the same day we had appointment and the customer service said I have to reschedule. I have a busy schedule and already push things around for that day. It's very unprofessional. 3. Customer service told me I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived, but when I was at work I got a call saying they're already there. I asked why didn't I get a call, they said they called earlier and the phone was disconnected. (Hello! The number you called and I answered is the same and I didn't see any missed calls.) 4. After rushing back home they gave me an estimate of 435.75, 575.95 and 705.75. We have five bedrooms and a stairs and a small hallway. I was tired to reschedule and didn't wanna waste my time so I just said ok I chose second high price. I left for a while to pick up my son and when I came back they're almost done. Its pretty fast. Only 1.5 hours. I went to check upstairs rooms and I smell something bad from my second master bathroom. Sorry but I hate strangers pooping in my house. 5. After I paid almost 600, they left, and I found my standing heater has a broken leg. 6. They did not move my furnitures and did not clean carpet under my bed (which is four legs standing style). Which is okay. But when thinking about paying almost 600, I FEEL really bad. I just don't wanna see them again. In short, I feel I overpaid for this service and I'm not happy. read more

RJ was very friendly AND thorough. Our carpets were filthy... and our stairs showed where we had walked. (-_-"). RJ spent a lot of time on our stairs and got them back to nearly new conditions. Save your money to just replace your carpet. I have so many complaints about this service I can't even bring myself full justice in this review. For starters, they HOSE you to even ATTEMPT to treat pet stains. Literally DOUBLED the price of cleaning my whole house just for spots in the living room. They charged us $300 to base clean 2 small bedrooms and a living room. However, he so "kindly" included an area rug at a discounted price. Then he charged us $300 just to use their pet cleaner which obviously did not work. For starters, I am in my twenties and have zero experience with carpet cleaning.. So, when the cleaner quoted me I was shocked but I am a renter, so I needed to make it right and have these carpets cleaned. However, I spoke to my mom a few minutes later and she said she had never heard of anyone paying over $600 for carpet cleaning. She demanded I tell him to stop immediately and let him know he was taking advantage of me because I am young and didn't know better. Long story short, he had already sprayed down a bunch of stuff and couldn't just stop but insisted this was going to clean our carpets and if it didn't he would come back. Well, guess what he did have to come back. After less than a week all the spots returned, so he returned to spot clean.. well guess what, they are back again and We need to replace our Living room carpet which will cost just as much as this cleaning. This AWFUL company took our money for their gain. Shame on you Active Chem Dry, we will not be back and you Update ... it only looks worse over time. Got a quote to replace carpet.. $870. This stupid "service" they provided would have covered a large portion. Thanks for nothing Chem Dry and thanks for fooling us into using your service. read more

Amazing job RJ! I called for my spring carpet cleaning and Lily was able to fit me in quickly. Plus, RJ was running ahead of schedule so he was able to come early. As always, he did a great job getting my old tired carpet looking fresh and clean. RJ also knows how critical it is to make sure there isn't any residue left behind because it causes problems with my Persian cat. RJ was also very sensitive to my budget and we worked out a deal that fit my budget and the needs of the carpet. Thanks RJ - I'll see you again in the Fall! read more

An excellent job with great customer service! Provides a courtesy call 30 minutes before to inform you the technician is on their way. RJ was friendly, professional and thorough providing an explanation of the process and different carpet and upholstery cleaning options. Our carpets needed a general clean after 3 years of general wear and tear. The process took a couple hours for a 2 Bd condo and the carpet turned out great. After RJ finished, he provided general maintenance tips. I highly recommend them! They also provide a 30 day guarantee and will come back if you are unhappy with anything. read more

They are definitely worth the 5 stars everyone has given. Honest about pricing, free estimate. Were also honest about the possibility of not getting out the stain. We decided to proceed anyway. They got it out as best as possible and also gave another suggestion / left us with some sulfur spray which did the trick! (do not try this at home!) Pricing was also very fair! read more

I hired this company months ago when I purchased my new home in Irvine. They did a great job on some really dirty carpet I was considering replacing. I finally had them back out to clean my upholstery, and once again they did an amazing job. These guys are true professionals and really know how to pay attention to detail. Not only did they get my furniture looking brand new, they really took care of my wood floors by placing drop clothes underneath my sofas and protecting the legs from scratching the floors. That was one of my main concerns because the floors were just installed. Nothing better than having a service company in your home that you know you can trust. Hats off once again to active chem dry. They are my go to from now on. read more

We scheduled for carpet cleaning with this company because of its five star reviews. Since it is local so it makes sense to use them. I called to schedule a week in advance. Day of my appt. from 12 to 3pm, they showed up at 1220, and within an hour it was done. I had a simple carget cleaning because the house is still very new. They are fast, professional and very nice. The owner explained very clear before he started. Before he left; he gave us a free profession sport remover. That was so kind of him. My carpet was dry within two hours. We are happy with the service and definitely use them again in the future. read more

With the holidays coming I really needed to have my carpets cleaned. Of course I waited to the last minute, chem dry called me back within 30 minutes with a quote and an available appt. I can't recall who assisted me on the phone, but she was super friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. Robert arrived at the quoted time actually a little early. He was very nice and professional as he assessed my dirty carpet. It was a smaller area that he quickly cleaned. He did an amazing job!! When he was finished he answered all my questions to my satisfaction! I am very pleased with Robert and Chem dry! Would definitely recommend and use them again! read more

Scheduling was simple and they arrived right on time. They cleaned the downstairs (including deep cleaning) and a bedroom upstairs and the carpets look fantastic! They look brand new. All in all this is a phenomenal company that has outstanding customer service. I will not hesitate to use active chem-dry for any carpet cleaning in the future. Pro's: customer service, scheduling, promptness, safe (natural) cleaning products, carpets look great, incredibly friendly workers. Con's: None! read more

We recently had our home remodeled which included the popcorn ceilings being scraped and everything being sanded and painted. Our light fabric couch was incredibly dusty and dirty after the remodel even though it had been covered with a tarp. No matter how much I vacuumed it, if I touched it, dust would literally fly off and it had a strange, sticky feeling. That stickiness was attracting cat hair and more dust. Since I am highly allergic to dust, it really grossed me out. I considered throwing it away; however, my friend recommended I give Active Chem-Dry a call to see what they could do. I am so glad I called them! The couch literally looks brand new and it has a wonderful citrus fragrance from the deodorizer that RJ recommended. It only took about 45 minutes for RJ and Vince to clean the couch and after several hours it was completely dry. There is no stickiness, no dirt attracting residue, no dripping on the hardwood floor from the chemicals and it smells terrific. I am really impressed with the result and also with RJ and Vince's professionalism. RJ called beforehand to confirm their arrival and he was super nice, personable and polite. Afterwards, RJ offered a 30 day money back guarantee if I wasn't happy with the result. I would definitely recommend Active Chem-Dry. read more

A company I have come to count on!! This team always goes above and beyond to ensure that we are happy and today was no exception. I sent my initial request for carpet cleaning via email to Active Chem-Dry because I reviewed numerous carpet cleaning companies and this one stood out from the rest. I received an immediate response of my request by Lilly. Since I was moving into a new home whereby the previous owner had a pet, I wanted to ensure I found a reputable carpet cleaning company who could customize my carpet cleaning to meet my expectations and eliminate any pet odors and stains. I knew I would have to invest a bit more more in this type of cleaning, and also received an estimate prior to the services received. RJay and his team came into my home and demonstrated the utmost professionalism and expertise in the services they provided. They also stood by their work and take pride in what they dol which is very important to me. He listened to what I wanted, walked me through the general cleaning as well as the pet stain removal and cleaning process, and reiterated his commitment to excellence and assuring customer satisfaction. Active Chem-Dry exceeded my expectations from the coordination of my appointment, keeping me informed of estimated arrival time, thank you Lily, timeliness, assessment of services, exceptional attention to detail and overall customer service provided by RJay and his team. My carpets looks amazing; with zero pet stains or odors at all. You could use any carpet cleaning company at any price point, but why settle for marginal results when you can get amazing results with with an established, professional, results-oriented, Active Chem-Dry. Thanks so much and see you all again in about six months! read more

We moved into our new house literally 4 days ago and the entire 2nd story of the home was wall to wall carpet which had a lot of wear and tear (stains and indentations from furniture). We have a 10 month old crawling baby so we were really concerned about the cleanliness of our carpet. We even considered replacing it but the cost was too high. Our next best option was to hire a carpet cleaner. We found Chem dry through yelp and called for a same day appointment. We really needed the service asap so we could start putting our furniture upstairs. As soon as I explained my situation they accommodated me and were at my house three hours later. My upstairs area measures about 1500 Sq ft and consists of 4 bed rooms and a loft. To deep clean that whole area it took about 2 hours. When they left I walked upstairs to take a look and the stains were gone. The carpet looked completely different like a brand new carpet. I wish I had pictures of the before and after! Also, I have steam cleaned my carpets before through a different company which also did a good job but my carpets were moist for the next two days. This time immediately after they were finished I walked upstairs with clean socks so I wouldn't dirty the carpet and it felt almost dry! Incredible difference!!! I'm so happy with the results and efficiency of this company that I will hire them again for any future needs. They also left me a bottle of solution to spot clean any future spills/messes. Really nice guys! Highly recommend! read more

Active Chem dry is an A+ business. I called and they were in great communication and super accessible with my schedule. AJ was exceptional and beyond trust worthy. I opened the doors to our business and he created magic! He called me to keep me updated (Check) He offered a deep clean coupon (Check) He was super professional (Check) It was as if he was a family member...truly. I then asked if he would be able to come to my residence for some cleaning. It was a go,e very next day and once again, boom...clean as a whistle. Once again, he provided step by step communication. He measured and then quoted me different prices for specific services. *You have to understand that a quote over the phone is an estimate. Once they arrive is when they can actually give you a real quote because there are degrees of options. All in all, I would defiantly hire again...my wool rugs are gorgeous once again and our office is presentable. Thanks! read more
