I need a urine stain removed in a corner of my sectional.Agent told me that one of the staff is nearby and can come same day. So after paying nearly 400 dollars. This company damaged my carpet, left crud all over my wood floor, scuffed my walls, and didn't even get some of the stains out. I got a quote to have my carpet repaired which was several hundred dollars over what I paid to have my carpet cleaned. Rather than deal with this company again I simply asked for a refund, which they won't give. Would never recommend this company. Update- Their carpet repair guy said that he could repair my carpet but that it won't match my existing carpet. Spoke to customer service and explained this is unacceptable. My friend referred me to this place because she said they did an awesome job and she loved the citrus scent and pet friendly method of cleaning they used. The technician, RJ, was very detailed and professional. He assessed my carpets and we decided a Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) was needed since we have pets and two young children. I was so thrilled to see that the stains were lifted and the carpets were so clean! I seriously was thinking of replacing the carpets on my stairs because the dogs love to hang out on the landing and lick their paws, thus creating a large soiled spot. I didn't think that could be removed but it was. RJ was meticulous and made sure he got the spots out that were not highly visible - like the edges of the laundry room, under the beds, in the closets and even removed all of the tiny pet hair near the baseboards. Honest review I tried this one because of its excellent review. That's why I think I need to share my experience. 1. Never answered my calls throughout the whole communication process. It is not usual for a business to not answer the call but only do "call back". Even when you call a busy doctors office your phone will be pick up and say "can you hold?" 2. Finally got a call back and made appointment for a few days later, I got a call on the same day we had appointment and the customer service said I have to reschedule. I have a busy schedule and already push things around for that day. It's very unprofessional. 3. Customer service told me I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived, but when I was at work I got a call saying they're already there. I asked why didn't I get a call, they said they called earlier and the phone was disconnected. (Hello! The number you called and I answered is the same and I didn't see any missed calls.) 4. After rushing back home they gave me an estimate of 435.75, 575.95 and 705.75. We have five bedrooms and a stairs and a small hallway. I was tired to reschedule and didn't wanna waste my time so I just said ok I chose second high price. I left for a while to pick up my son and when I came back they're almost done. Its pretty fast. Only 1.5 hours. I went to check upstairs rooms and I smell something bad from my second master bathroom. Sorry but I hate strangers pooping in my house. 5. After I paid almost 600, they left, and I found my standing heater has a broken leg. 6. They did not move my furnitures and did not clean carpet under my bed (which is four legs standing style). Which is okay. But when thinking about paying almost 600, I FEEL really bad. I just don't wanna see them again. In short, I feel I overpaid for this service and I'm not happy. read more

Save your money to just replace your carpet. I have so many complaints about this service I can't even bring myself full justice in this review. For starters, they HOSE you to even ATTEMPT to treat pet stains. Literally DOUBLED the price of cleaning my whole house just for spots in the living room. They charged us $300 to base clean 2 small bedrooms and a living room. However, he so "kindly" included an area rug at a discounted price. Then he charged us $300 just to use their pet cleaner which obviously did not work. For starters, I am in my twenties and have zero experience with carpet cleaning.. So, when the cleaner quoted me I was shocked but I am a renter, so I needed to make it right and have these carpets cleaned. However, I spoke to my mom a few minutes later and she said she had never heard of anyone paying over $600 for carpet cleaning. She demanded I tell him to stop immediately and let him know he was taking advantage of me because I am young and didn't know better. Long story short, he had already sprayed down a bunch of stuff and couldn't just stop but insisted this was going to clean our carpets and if it didn't he would come back. Well, guess what he did have to come back. After less than a week all the spots returned, so he returned to spot clean.. well guess what, they are back again and We need to replace our Living room carpet which will cost just as much as this cleaning. This AWFUL company took our money for their gain. Shame on you Active Chem Dry, we will not be back and you Update ... it only looks worse over time. Got a quote to replace carpet.. $870. We recently had our home remodeled which included the popcorn ceilings being scraped and everything being sanded and painted. Our light fabric couch was incredibly dusty and dirty after the remodel even though it had been covered with a tarp. I've been steam cleaning my carpets and rugs for years. I have a steam cleaner and I thought it did a decent job.
