The clothes were neatly separated by women's and men's, sizes on the circle racks. T-shirts, sweaters, pants, coats were all on their own racks. I was greeted right away when I walked in. There was a security guard. I didn't find anything I like but I did see some cool shirts and items. It was a nice place to look around and to see what kinda unique gear they got. A quaint store with good lighting and friendly staff, this thrift shop isn't big but does curate a nice little collection - I saw cute tops, dresses, scarves, handbags, and jewelry. Everything was tidy and in its right place. I'm not sure if there's a dressing room since I didn't use one, but there are plenty of mirrors around the store that you can use. Bonus: all proceeds go towards their affiliated animal rescue! I picked up a patterned skirt and T-shirt here for less than $20, and my friend got a few items as well. Checking out was easy breezy, and they let us know that they're able to take most donations (though if you have anything large, best to call in ahead of time). I'd missed the once-an-hour bus that goes right by Savers. I took the bus that goes the long way around and got off across the development and a park. When i arrived at Savers, the clerks said only items they can resell. After I explained that I'd called and been told "everything" and that i didn't drive, the clerks let me leave my unusable recycling. I have no idea if they just trashed it. Very disappointing. ​

PROS: Super clean and very well organized!! Great home goods and shoe options. The few items that caught my eye were very well priced, and overall it felt easy and enjoyable to shop here. CON: The selection was a bit lacking, and I didn't find anything particularly exciting or unique. Lots of very basic pieces, though they did have a large variety of jeans. First up, the find of the day was the Kate Spade leather purse. It was untagged and sold to me for $10. It doesn't need much TLC, so I'll call that a come up. The second is the animal print bag by Anthropologie. Calf hair on the outside and though there's some wear, it is so minimal. It was a good find especially because I prefer smaller bags. The tan bag might not be leather, but it was cute and reminded me of simpler times so I got it. It's an easy book bag or something to throw a kindle/iPad in and head out. Lastly is the Abbott Vintage leatherwork bag. Practically new and $6.99. I've come here over the years and have lucked up on bags, sometimes shoes, and usually coats or blazers. I'll continue to come back as long as they're here, though I lucked up so good that it might be a while. Oh wait... all clothing is $2.99 January 23 & 24. I just might be back sooner than later!

This College Ave location is the everyday stop when you need to grab anything from vintage starter jackets, I've gotten retro J.Crew pieces here in additions to Y2K Nike pieces. Try them out if you're on the block. Parking can be busy, but there are 2hr free spots on the nearest block where the store is. It's also independently owned by a young cool duo.
