If I can give zero stars I would. We used Wes because he came highly recommended by a friend that used him and really we liked him the most out of all the other contractors. He currently is avoiding our calls and text messages because he owes us money for a service that wasn't completed thru our contract. Himself and the electrician sub contractor he hired both confirmed we could have electrical done a certain way and when they started the work it was nothing what we asked for; in fact they ruined our canopy and we asked them to stop and fired the electrician. His electrician was also at a 7th no show and Wes felt we were in the wrong for firing his electrician! Yet Wes never showed up to our site after to see the mess and damage they left behind. He tried saying he will give us a partial refund but never acted on that or anything that we left unfinished! We are So disappointed with this hire and not professional at all!! read more

We had our pool done by Wes started around May 2021 and completed October 2021. We experienced a bunch of hiccups during the process so it took longer than the promised date of completion. For instance, him not putting the automatic cleaner that's why he had to redo it. Despite all the headaches and mistakes done we proceeded and finished the project with him. Until we discovered during our pool maintenance for a standard fill and re-polishing. We found that our plaster was done incorrectly. We've had inspector come check and they said it was not done right that's why there's holes on the plaster. We reached out to him since it should be under warranty and for weeks, he would reply with "I'll reach out to my guy", "I haven't heard back, we'll contact you". Basically a lot of brushing off. And to this day, he's still has not reached out to fix the problem. I want to share this with everyone so you can beware of the lifespan of your pool done with this company. You maybe saving some money for now, but you'll end up having to spend more than you should to fix all the errors down the road. read more

I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Acquabella. My pool plaster was still under warranty, and Wes, the owner, arranged to have my pool replastered and told me the work was covered under the warranty. I trusted that the company would handle payment to the plaster subcontractor. I later found out that the plaster company had NOT been paid, and they placed a lien on my home for approximately $10k. To be clear: I did not hire this plaster company directly. Acquabella arranged the warranty work, and I have documentation showing that this was being handled as a warranty issue. Now I am the one dealing with a lien against my property because the subcontractor says they were never paid. I have records of my original payments, warranty information, and communications regarding the replaster work. This has been an incredibly frustrating and unacceptable experience. A homeowner should not have to worry about a lien being placed on their property because a contractor failed to pay a subcontractor for work that the contractor arranged under warranty. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Acquabella or Wes. If you are considering using them, I would make absolutely sure you have everything in writing and verify that every subcontractor and supplier has been paid and that lien releases have been provided. read more

If quality is what u want. This isnt the builder for u. If u want cheaper and someone who doesnt stand by their work...then this is for u. For starters....had asked for pop up cleaners in the pool and they had done every step up to the plaster. when I had asked where the pop ups were. They forgot to put them in. Wes stated that he'd have to do it over again and tried to bargain with me. When I refused because it was his fault and they were a must for me they then half assed it instead of doing it correctly. Plumbing was done around the back of the pool aboit 6 inches under instead of how every other pipe was ran. So now I cant plant any trees or structures behind it for shade or privacy because if where the pipes were ran. The plaster has holes in it after 4 yrs and Wes gave me the run around of "im trying to get someone to look at it" for over a month. So they dont honor the warranty in the contracts or even pretend too. He tried blaming my pool.guy but I had paid a 3rd party inspector who had stated it was clearly bad plaster. Dont reccomend...obviously. if u look at reviews...a few others who had theirs built close to the same time frame also had plaster issues and no help from them or attempts to resolute the problems read more

I was referred to Wes and Acquabella Pools by my brother in law who had his pool built by them. Wes gave us a beautiful design incorporating everything we wanted done including: Spa, outdoor BBQ island, fire pit, fire bowls deck jets, landscaping, lighting and a pergola cover. It took just under 3 months to complete and the finished product was beautiful. The reason I gave 5 stars is not just the pool construction, but Wes responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. He had 6 or 7 different crews working on the project, each picked by Wes because they knew what they were doing and did it well. The City Inspections were no problem as everything was in order. Oh, and did I mention he easily underbid the other pool contractors? It was a great value for us. I highly recommend Acquabella Pools. read more

Acquabella installed the pool at my home about 3 years ago. There is a pretty significant rust spot that is growing at the bottom of the pool. I've been trying to contact Wes now for a few months and he kept telling that the plaster guy will call to set up a time to come look at it to get it repaired under warranty. Never heard from a plaster guy or Wes. It's now been two weeks and Wes stopped answering his phone completely. I'm not sure if they went of business but if they didn't then I'd absolutely recommend not using this company. Not only because it is breaking down in such a short amount of time but also the fact that they aren't trying to fix. read more

Wes installed our pool about 3 years ago. We told him last year our plastic didn't look right and is scratching (nothing has touched it make it look that way) told my husband he would fix it. Sent a guy to acid wash it. Still looks terrible! Now he's saying that the plastic warranty we had with them is only for physical damage? Whatever you do don't use them! He also did a horrible job on my mother's pool after she spent over $100k with them and she had so many problems! read more

Wes and his crew at Acqua Bella pools did an amazing job. From start to finish if there was ever a question, I could count on Wes to give me a prompt answer. Construction started almost immediately and moved along much quicker than expected. I would not hesitate to use them again on a future property. Not only will they give you an amazing pool, but they wrapped it in probably one of the best turf installs and landscaping I've had to date. read more

I rarely post a review on a certain service on the other hand Acqua Bella Pools need some good attention. Wes Thaxton is the owner and he is great to work with. He is always a text away and the response is always immediate. All the pool and other added work was all contract with him. Pergola Patio covers, pavers, extension of my retaining walls, built in BBQ PIT and FIRE PIT. I am glad all the project was all contracted with him, instead of multiple contractors I have to deal with. Romualdo is his right hand and deserves a well mentioned. Although thru the project process was not all smooth and understandable, our pool was completed and all added projects. With the exception of my pool heater is still not working remotely. This is not Acqua Bella Pools. This is on MURPHY ELECTRIC INC. and I honestly believe Wes Thaxton. He had been trying to contact them for 3 weeks now and counting. How hard it is to send someone to connect 2 wires from the pool heater to power interconnect. I know what to do but this will void my warranty if I touch it. So to MURPHY ELECTRIC INC. fix my pool heater. read more

We had our pool and spa done by Wes with Acquabella Pools. I use the spa on a weekly basis. I love how I can turn on the spa heater on my way home from work or from the gym through the iAqualink phone app and dip right in when I get home. Overall, we're very happy with how our pool and spa turned out. We love the desert modern contemporary design which goes well with our home. If you're in the Inspirada area and you're looking to build a pool/spa, you should definitely contact Wes with Acquabella Pools! read more

Living in the Vegas heat without a pool can be dreadful. So can planning to have a pool done! But not with Wes and the crew at Acquabella. They made things simple. From the time he came over to provide a free quote, to now when we have troubleshooting questions about our pool, Wes is always there to take care of us. The crew worked efficiently and had our pool done in 3 months! Not bad considering all of the supply chain and labor issues. He was also very transparent and fair regarding cost. Hard to find folks like that these days. If you're in the market for a pool, please do yourselves a favor and reach out to Wes and Acquabella. You won't be disappointed! read more

We couldn't be happier with our new pool and backyard! Wes from Acqua Bella Pools is a true professional and made sure that every detail was perfect. He's got an eye for design and was EXTREMELY helpful and patient with us when picking out our options and making changes along the way. He has EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION and always kept us in the loop on the progress and timelines. He was always willing to answer any questions we had and always made us feel like a priority. He and his crew work fast, very clean and efficient. Our total project took only ~7 WEEKS! Which is insane! Our neighbors went with another company, built a much smaller pool, and that took several months to complete. I would recommend Acqua Bella to anyone looking to build a pool. read more

We interviewed a total of 6 pool builders when we decided to invest in building a pool and spa. We had already selected another builder when we met with Wes Thaxton from Acqua Bella Pools. Immediately after meeting with Wes, we cancelled the other builder because it was very clear that Wes and Acqua Bella's top priority was ensuring that the customer got exactly the pool that they wanted. Wes was quick to respond to our many questions throughout the design and build process. Whenever we asked, Wes was prompt to come out and meet face to face to answer questions or explain next steps. Our project was completed by Acqua Bella both on time (much faster than any other builder we interviewed), and on budget. However, you simply cannot put a price tag on all of the extra effort that Wes and Acqua Bella Pools put into making absolutely sure that we, as his customers, were not merely satisfied, but also, truly happy with our new pool and spa. We highly recommend Acqua Bella Pools. Thanks to Wes and Acqua Bella, we now have the pool and spa of our dreams! read more

We just completed our pool/spa back in November 2020 and it turned out even better than we had hoped for. We had 3 bids total and Acqua Bella pools outshined the rest. Wes was very professional, took our thoughts and brought it to life. Customer service was important to us because we would be dealing with him personally for the next couple of months. The process was seamless, he takes care of HOA and city permits. We hit a snag when the excavators found caliche (sedimentary rock) while digging but nothing that couldn't be resolved. The whole process is like buying a house, you choose everything from tile to plaster to colors of cool deck and all the above. I would say that's the fun stuff! It was really nice to work with a team that gets tasks done because there are so many moving parts and if you want to make changes along the way that's ok too. Another cool feature is you can access your pool features such as heating and lighting through an app on your phone. We are beyond excited and can't wait to utilize the backyard for entertaining this upcoming year! Give Wes a call, you won't be disappointed! I will post a few pictures but the pictures won't do it justice. read more

I initially started my pool with a contractor that stole a large amount of my money, leaving me with an unfinished pool and a claim with the contractors board. I called numerous pool companies and most were not willing to consider stepping in to finish the pool, and the one other company that did come quoted me almost double what the design and build was going to cost in the first place. I about lost hope that I would ever finish the pool when a friend recommended Wes and his team. Wes immediately took my call, was sympathetic to our situation and agreed to jump on the job. His price was more than reasonable. His team came in with a mission to get it done, zero calls about delays and each person on the team was skilled in their trade. I am so happy to say my pool is now finished and I am beyond happy with the outcome. Highly recommend! read more

I had initially contracted another pool builder for our project but Wes was so highly recommended that I wanted to get a second quote before we started our project. Wes came out and we went over the entire backyard and he not only was competitive on the pricing but the quoted timeframe was much faster and uses only top of the line equipment. We had the pleasure of having Wes come to our home to take measurements. Although we ended up going with another company, we just wanted to share our experience. We loved Wes from the start! He was just an awesome guy all around. He is kind, very knowledgeable, patient, and has a great eye for design. Also Wes is very fair in his quotes and by judging what others have reviewed and the look of the pools, their pricing is more than worth it. What we loved most about Wes was that he didn't rush or pressure us, he tried hard to make sure we were happy and told us the truth about things that would be good and what wouldn't be. We really appreciated all that he had to say and he made a beautifully designed 3d pool design for us too. Basically he treated us like he would family.
