Acorn Safe & Lock is the only locksmith I will ever use and I have made sure to tell all of my friends and associates about my experience. This is a dependable, fair, and honest company. We had a very unfortunate incident in the wee hours of the morning. Our home was broken into while we were asleep. No one was hurt and the guy did not get away with much because my husband awoke to catch him in the act and chased him out of the house. As a result of this incident we needed some lock work handled asap. Based upon the reviews on this site we decided to call Acorn Lock & Safe. It was early in the morning when we called so we left a message on the machine. The owner, Kevin, called back within the hour. This was all before 8am. He said he would be right over. Kevin showed up as promised ( right away). He knew exactly what we needed and had everything with him. He was super quick & efficient. I was really frazzled but felt so much better after Kevin worked on our locks and added security locks to our sliders. The cost for the work was very reasonable. There are really no words or any review that can properly convey how grateful I am that there are good people and businesses out there such as Kevin and Acorn Safe & Lock. My deadbolt decided to break this morning right before my family and I were supposed to leave town. I started googling how to do it yourself and tried to figure out how I was going to get to Lowe's to buy a replacement lock with the 1000 other things I needed to accomplish before I left. Finally I thought, this is ridiculous, I'm calling a professional. After consulting Yelp, I was so fortunate to come across Acorn Safe & Lock. The reviews caught my attention, primarily that the owner was the one to come out and that the prices were fair. I called him and he answered at 8:45 am and was so professional. He didn't hesitate to quote me a price range over the phone and even suggested how I may fix it myself in case it was a simple fix. He showed up at the estimated time which was perfect. He fixed my lock vs replacing it and explained exactly what was wrong with it. He guaranteed his work by telling me if the issue occurred again that I could proactively get the deadbolt at lowes and he would come replace it for half his hourly rate since he had already worked on it this time. And even better the price was the low end of the quote! I told him how much I appreciated his service quality and you could really tell how much he cared about delivering top notch work.
