I was recently scammed by an impostor company- CK Locksmith- and found myself in a position of having to replace the locks that the impostor installed at the advice of law enforcement. I went to the CK Lockshop store in Boynton Beach and they were very courteous and professional. They did not try to push any expensive locks. Furthermore, they gave me a 20% discount because I had been the victim of a scam. The technician came to my house within 1/2 hour. I went to have a key copied at the Delray location, and while they didn't have the key I needed I was told they did have them at the Boynton location. They called the Boynton store and told them to expect me. However, when I arrived at Boynton they wouldn't copy the key for me for me anyway due to bureaucratic gobblespeak. Why send me to that store and waste my time if they wouldn't follow through. I for one won't be back. read more

This despicable company illegally reported me to credit bureau for non-payment of a contract. They "automatically" renew security monitoring contracts for THREE-YEAR periods. After being a great paying company for seven years, we went out of business due to the economy. We notified them in September of 2010 to end our service. We had already paid through December 31, 2010. Now they want IMMEDIATE payment through February 2013. They just slapped me with an $800 bill and reported be to credit bureau for over $800. But what makes this illegal is that this was a corporate obligation. There was no personal guarantee. They are despicable! read more

I needed two new key fobs reprogrammed for use with my car. The associate was courteous and, however I was quoted two different prices - before and after the service Before the service, I had told the associate that I needed two fobs reprogrammed and showed him both fobs. I was told a price of $75, which was steep as it is, but decided that giving a bit more for to a local business instead of the dealership was worth it. When reprogramming was done, I was then told $75 for *EACH* fob - for a total of $150!! Mind you, the dealership was actually CHEAPER. They quoted me a price of $65 for both. Even if the dealership charged $65 for each fob, it STILL would have been cheaper to go with them. I could have created a scene, but decided against it after a long day of work, though I did mention to the associate that he told me the pricing was $75. This business did not make their pricing clear to this patron. Quite frankly, I feel fleeced. read more

Called as I need all doors rekeyed. Good news came right out. Bad news he could not change locks as there were no keys. Ok I get that, instead he said I need to go to showroom to pick out. I explained I don't know locks and just want one that will cover same area. Anyway after going around I will find someone who can come to me and assist. Did I mention I paid $90 for the service call. He rekeyed my front door which I did not need. He said I knew. Well if I knew I would have stopped him. I was clear when I call in what I needed. $150 charge the one door that worked rekeyed and no solution for the other six. You would think the manager or owner would reach out when they have a dissatisfied customer. A good job goi g to dome company that understands service. read more
