Jeff is the best!! I bought a fixer upper in Idyllwild that came with all kinds of bug issues (pantry moth infestation in the cabinets, carpenter ants in the siding that had brought on woodpecker damage, and many other of bugs that had found their way inside during our renovation). Jeff got rid of the bugs and set up an ongoing maintenance plan within my budget. He is kind, honest, and a great communicator. I have peace of mind knowing that my home will not be taken over by bugs, and am immensely grateful! read more

.Very thin skinned owner...... Accused me of yelling at him and "fired" me as a customer. All I did was to remind him to call me prior to spraying so I can put my dogs away so they didn't get poisoned. He sprayed wildly when he did spray. read more

I had a couple of minutes on the phone with Jeff, initially, but I assure you he knew what was going on at my home with this unknown bug to me. I set up an appointment for Jeff to come out to my place. I couldn't be there but I had someone else there to cover for me. He was on time and was helpful with the person taking my place for the appointment. I was informed Jeff was very friendly and very helpful explaining the situation to my roommate. Jeff was extremely honest and upfront with cost and I thought very reasonable. He does warranty his work and gives receipts. A true businessman that knows customer service. I will continue to use Acorn Pest Control for my future pest needs and refer him to anyone in need of a great pest control company. Thank you Jeff. read more

Jeff is a great guy, very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend. We live in an area with scorpions and haven't seen one since using him. read more

We have been using Acorn Pest Control for years! He is always timely and no matter what we ask of him, he always finds a way to squeeze us into his busy schedule! He is affordable as well and is very honest. He knows his stuff too! He is definitely the best of the best! Thanks Jeff! read more

It was the time of year when I just knew it was a matter of time before ants and spiders were going to become a real problem around my house. I've tried several exterminators over the years but found the service to be lacking in professionalism. I saw Jeff's truck at my neighbors house and managed to speak with him before he left the neighborhood. He was great! I had an appointment scheduled for a few days later. He was on time ad thorough. He reminded me to keep my pets in until everything dried, and even suggested a certain type of lightbulb to help keep the bugs away from my front door light at night. I will definitely use them again. If you need an exterminator- call Jeff! read more

Not a big fan of mice. They sneak in, no matter how well you seal up the place. In Idyllwild, we kept seeing the leavings of the little critters (which they never show you in Disney films). We contacted Acorn Pest Control, and put them on a regular cycle. Not only did they keep us mouse-free, but they made suggestions when they noticed something that might go wrong. We've worked with Acorn for many years, and they are completely reliable. If you want to avoid coming face to face with rodents, choose Acorn. They are good people. read more

I have had a great experience with this company. I'm fairly new to Idyllwild and they have helped with making the house secure and are amazingly responsive to issues. Their level of personal service and attention is really amazing. Highly recommend. read more

I called from out of state trying to find a more eco-friendly pest control method. Not sure whether I talked to Jeff -- and won't have a chance to complete the treatment he suggested for a few days -- but he gave me a good diy tip - nice guy! read more

Jeff from Acorn Pest Control came out to our house this last week to help us understand our rodent and ant situation. He was one of the nicest, coolest guys we've worked with in a long time. He was so knowledgeable (he's been doing this for decades), taught us a ton as we walked around the inside and outside of our house, and he gave us an honest assessment of how he could and could not help us, which we really appreciated. I get tired of vendors promising us the world and then we either never hear from them again or they don't deliver the agreed service. Jeff at Acorn is now our go-to guy; glad to have him in our Rolodex! read more

Fantastic service!! My house was being invaded by earwigs, silkworm type grossness-es, and little beetles. I tried a few diy tricks but I had finally had it this morning. The reviews seemed good so I reached out. A few hours later they were here! Right before Thanksgiving too which I didn't at all expect. These guys were down to earth and did a thorough job for a great price. Jeff reccomended service every two months and I'll be sticking to that. Thanks guys! read more

Jeff is one of those standup guys that takes care of his customers even when they're not paying... He came out and checked our cabin for rodents and it turned out we didn't have any... No charge! We will definitely be calling Jeff if we have any other pest control needs! read more

Jeff with Acorn Pest Control! You rock. I have to give this guy 5 stars for his business. Not only does he show up when he says he's going to, but he does a fantastic job, doesn't cut corners, always has great advice, he has very reasonable prices. Thank you for doing a great job Jeff! read more

Had this company doing our pest control. Sprays wildly all over everything including our brand new furniture. Tried to reason with him and tell him we would have to spray more carefully especially with the toddlers we have in the house. When we went through this rainy season he keep trying to come out and we told him as much as it is raining it would be a waste of time and that we would call him to schedule a day. He called my wife and set up a day. Then he tried to come out a week early. We told him no it is for next week and this week would not work. He told us we were causing him to lose money and we should find someone else. We obliged with pleasure. One star is being generous. read more

In August, I had a sudden increase in yellow jacket activity at our Idyllwild vacation home (and was also concerned about possibility of bats in attic). Jeff the owner came out quickly, thoroughly inspected for both issues, and offered great advice. Also very friendly! I'll call him first for any future issues or concerns. read more

I can't say enough about Jeff and how much he and his crew helped us out. We bought a new cabin in Idyllwild there was rat infested in the crawlspace. He spent an amazing amount of time and meticulously rid of the place after two weeks of baiting and trapping and the best part is he and his partner in crime cleaned everything up and disinfected the entire place. His work ethic is amazing... But what would you expect from an ex marine. Thank you Jeff for saving the day read more

I first contacted Jeff with Acorn Pest Control when I had a problem with bats in Idyllwild. He immediately came out and took care of the problem. I hired him for regular maintenance and his service is stellar. He always texts me when he has completed his service. He called me immediately when he discovered a flood in my cabin and notified the water company to turn off the water. Since using Acorn I have been very satisfied. I highly recommend Jeff and his company. read more

Jeff is awesome! He does pest maintenance on the property in Idyllwild, not many want to make the trek out there but he's very very reliable. We had huge spiders inside cabin and all over deck ...HUGE spiders... but they aren't there anymore thanks to his skills! Moths inside cabin are no longer there as well and a rat problem under the house was taken care of with his diligence. He's honest and reliable! I definitely recommend! read more

Acorn pest control service is by far the best we've had! We've tried many long time, well known pest companies in town over the years and Acorn blows them out of the water! He is very reliable, accommodating, thorough and excellent service. His service has great results,. No more bugs of any kind and the products lasts well up to the next month, we don't have unwanted visitors showing before then. Thank you for your service! read more

I will hands down absolutely use Acorn for all of my pest control needs. Jeff is an outstanding man and follows up to see how his service was. The gentleman scheduled the appointment, and called to confirm if we were still on. He was very meticulous on areas that needed attention and I never had to call Acorn back for a re treatment. Most of the other companies I've used companies in the past that employs uneducated, unprofessional and rude people. I was pleasantly surprised to meet Jeff and his experiences in his field. Thank you Acorn for servicing outside of the Hemet/Idywild area! read more

I have used this company for years and have found their work to be excellent. The friends that I have referred them to are also very pleased with the service. I also hooked them up to do the work for an organization that I belong to taking care of the building outside, inside, the bar and kitchen and the quality of service has been exceptional. I have found that the owner, Jeff, will always go the extra mile to get the job done right. read more
