ACME plumbing did a great job on my sewer lateral. They kept me informed about the whole process. Props to Ed and Trevor for keeping me informed about the day-to-day process of this procedure. It's all new to me. I love the consideration from Ed and his team on a well done job. I look forward to having ACME work on any additional plumbing projects for my home. Overall, the price came in exactly as quoted and the replacement of the hole and lawn was priceless, it is hard to believe there was even a hole on the corner of the lawn. read more

Love these people. I have an old house with old pipes. Ed has been working in Salinas for decades and him and his guys know the area, know how to fix everything. Would not call anybody else if you paid me, trust goes a long way and these guys know what's going on. read more

Unfortunately we have had 3 major plumbing issues in the last month . It's an older house, so totally expected. Fortunately, we know Acme Plumbing and they are GREAT!! Trevor is super responsive and smart enough to send the same guy each time so he knows the ins and outs of our house. Will is AWESOME, I just feel bad he's had to crawl into the depths underneath our house so many times. 2 of our issues were on a Sunday, and still their pricing was totally reasonable and worth every penny (especially since one was a sewer back up!! ) I would HIGHLY recommend Acme Plumbing for any of your needs!! read more

Trevor and Tony - 5 stars! Acme Plumbing is simply the best, with top notch customer service starting with Trevor who provided me straight-forward details and guidance on next steps for installing my whole house water filter and softener. Acme Plumbing had the best rates (and most knowledgeable) of 4-5 other companies I contacted. Trevor even walked me through the process before I committed to the job. Tony is simply awesome, and was able to install my filters and softener same day. He is a pro at what he does and seamlessly understands all parts, outlets and installation mechanisms. He also taught me a few things about what I need to do to change the filter, and helped me field questions to the manufacturer for how to operate the Bluetooth system. I highly recommend Acme Plumbing!!!! 5 stars thanks! read more

Had an issue with their guy Trevor and instead of helping to fix the issue regardless of fault maybe with price or you know try to tailor for the customer he didn't. Businesses lose loyal customers because they fail to accomodate or recognize when they either mess up via wording or other things. Anyway I will never do business with them again. read more

Replaced kitchen faucet and unclogged bathroom sink. Service was excellent but came after upon time.

Quick and detailed response after a yelp inquiry listing their price and availability. Anthony was efficient and detailed and was able to clean and reseal my gas dryer line and replaced the flexible hose attaching it to the dryer for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them. read more

Please do not use Acme Plumbing~ After 10 minutes, having been paid $149, the agent declared my home air heater was so old it could not be fixed. So he sent an estimate for around $4000. I called another local company, who also noticed how old the system was, but jumped in and repaired two key parts, billing a total of $1000. The heater works as new. Shame on bellows. Instead of working to fix the problem, it jumped to the best return for themselves. Not fraud. But nearly. read more

In the midst of caring for my terminally ill father, my parent's water heater broke. Ed had a worker out within 45 min and was able to resolve the issue. We appreciated Nick's kindness and knowledge in the field while showing patience to talk through our options with us. read more

We had a water line break in our front yard and water was flowing into the gutter. Trevor from Acme Plumbing responded and the problem was bigger than anticipated. It took a day and a half to resolve but Trevor resolved it, even to the point of working into the night (until 9 PM) the first day, a Friday. He then returned Saturday morning and took the entire day to finish the job. He then returned on Sunday morning to insure the leak was in fact stopped before covering the hole. He went above and beyond as far as I was concerned. When he showed me the cost of the service, I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it was going to cost much more. read more

Anthony was friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, and did a very good job on our faucets. Thank you.

While it did take more than the expected time to complete the job, thy were very cooperative to facilitate and provide the needed repairs. They went above and beyond to make sure the work was done properly and professionally. I highly recommend them. read more

Wow! I called at 9am and at 10:15 Mark shows up. He quickly assed the issued and went to his work truck and grabbed his tools. He snaked the toilet and found that was not the issue. Turns out there was a build up of calcium around the water drain into the bowl. He chiseled the calcium out so it would flush properly. Yeah!! He recommended a new toilet but at least it worked for now. I appreciated the quality service, kindness and quick response. I would 100% recommend. read more

Great service received from Mark today at Acme. He arrived with 20 minutes of calling. Quickly diagnosed a busted pipe and took care of the issue. Friendly and easy to work with, he was respectful of the property and made sure everything was working before leaving. Will definitely use Acme again and highly recommend their services. read more

Ed the owner is a piece of work. Hung up on me when I had a question about the amount due and said he would sue me. There was no mention by me of not paying for their service. And they did not provide a written estimate which is probably why we had a different take on the final amount. I had to email, text several times and eventually called and spoke with their office manager to pay the bill as we never received an invoice. You may not experience Ed's fury but why risk dealing with the possibility? read more

Awesome work. I appreciate how quickly they got back to me and resolved my issue. I used them for an emergency and they were quick to help.

We are very happy with the response time and straightforwardness on the work needed to be done. They did a good job and backed their work which says slot to us! We would definitely use them again. read more

Acme is a mixed bag. They have helped us out of emergency situations in short order, but when it comes to more finesse work, we get left out in the cold. Communication is poor. We've had them change the schedule with no notice, only to find out they weren't coming by that day after all, and we missed work for nothing, MULTIPLE times. Craftsmanship is ok. Again, if it's an emergency fix, Acme is there for you. But they actually broke our shower spout (and misaligned the handle) in repairing a leak in a different part of the house. I understand if they can't patch the walls (that's a drywaller's job), but we're still waiting for our shower handle and valve repair weeks later. I believe they have forgotten about us. :( Professionalism is poor. Is leaving a mud trail through your home necessary? After NOT repairing the problem, the mud is adding insult to injury. You can certainly do better. I'm sure that if we were friends or family we'd get a better quality service. Sadly, we're just us. read more

I would rate -5 if I can. He over charged me on a simple BBQ hose fix. I would strongly not recommend.

The contractors/employees did a good job working. This was the second time I requested them but unfortunately the last. Work was good but the owner was very shady this time around. He informed me it was 102 an hour plus parts and taxes. My bill supposed to have been 372.00 for 3 hours of labor and parts/taxes. He tried to charge me 678.00. He was charging me 202 a hour and told me it was due to two guys he sent. Now, if I knew this was his rules in general I may have checked elsewhere. He said 102 a hour not per hour per plumber. When I was discussing this with him over the phone he tried to intimidate me and threaten me with a lawsuit if I wasn't to pay. I expressed to him that I will pay the correct amount of 372 but not this extra stuff you tried to sneak in. He then tried to negotiate and throwing all these numbers at me and I told him that that won't cut it. I'll pay the agreement you told me. He then said, "I guess I'll sue you" and hung up. He then called the contractors and they discussed stuff and said that 372 was good. (Now waiting game and hoping he doesn't try and charge me more than I agreed and signed for.) Again, ratings is due to the owner/boss NOT the workers. The workers did a great job and was very nice and professional. read more

Quick, honest and reliable. Ed was quick to answer and did not charge for things that did not need attention.

Ed called me right back and let me know one of his guys just finished a job and would be arriving within an hour!
