We decided to give them a try and get a pizza to go. Friday is "pizza night". I gave them a call and a very friendly young lady took my order. She was friendly and helpful. We tried the thick style with half meatball and half pepperoni. Would take 40 minutes to be ready for pickup. Pickup was super easy. They have spaces right out front for pickup orders. The pizza was quite heavy ! We are new to this thick Chicago style pizza. The pizza was delicious !!! Quite delicious. It isn't something we could eat every week. It's quite a heavy meal. Once in a while this is quite a treat. Next time we will try their thinner crust pizza. I especially loved the chunky tomato' sauce on top. Give them a try. You will be glad you did !

Garlic knots after a bite --shows you how crispy the outside is but gives that chewy dough texture when you bite it. Absolutely amazing!

We drove from northeast Raleigh to give ACME a try & ordered a supreme deep dish & the garlic knots. I cannot stop thinking about the garlic knots and it has been a few days since we tried it. It is not your typical basic garlic knots! Very crispy on the outside and chewy texture but soft inside. The best combos if you're a texture eater! The deep dish has been probably the best one in NC that we have tried and we had couple different ones in Chicago before. I will definitely be back to try other things on their menu! From our experience of ordering takeout--the staff is super nice and everything is very clean. They were ready within 30 min whereas other deep dish places usually requires 45 min to an hour. Only cons is the parking lot for that area is a bit of a pain sometimes. I use to dine at the previous restaurant at this location so I have quite a bit of experience with their parking.

The Margaritas pizza had good slightly firm crust. Good for folding your pizza over and taking a bite. The sauce was nice and tomatoey. Very flavorful and delicious. The vegetarian deep dish was deep!! The mushroom flavor, olives, tomato sauce and cheese all blended really good together. It was delicious!! It took a while for our food to come out, but service was all around good. The music was very 2010s.

    Large Meathead deep dish pizza

This pizza is priced worse then a gallon of gas during the housing crisis. I paid $42 for the Meathead deep dish large pizza, which is insane for a large pizza. I don't care if it's dipped in gold, but $42 is insane for one pizza. The crust was super thick, and the meat was fake and artificial tasting. Cheese and sauce honestly not bad, and staff was incredibly nice. But overall, this is insanely overpriced and leaves a lot to be desired.

A friend wanted to try out this place and figured why not try it out since it's been awhile that I've had a deep dish pizza. It wasn't really busy in there so it was relatively quiet in there. We order the half portion of the garlic knots, they are huge, delicious, and worth the money. Usually the wait is between 30-45 minutes, which is understandable. The pizza was very filling and quite flavorful. The cheese pull for the slices was wonderful to observe. Definitely worth to give this place a try for first timers.

The customer service is fantastic! Thank you Julia. Plenty of parking, location is cozy with multiple televisions mounted throughout.. Nice menu selections and the lunch menu looks good too. We ordered a small deep dish pizza which is actually large enough to feed 3. No substitutions are allowed on the pizza combos? So, for me ... don't care for bacon OR meatballs and could not swap them out for roasted red peppers and pineapples - that didn't put a smile on my face. Any whooo, the pizza was slightly undercooked- crust was mushy and the veggies weren't as crisp (may have been sautéed a tad bit prior to cooking.) The sauce and cheese - on point! Pie wasn't that hot? Would recommend with a reminder to cook completely. And again, the customer service was awesome.

Very seldom do you find a place that can do deep dish and hand-tossed well...Acme does! Definitely enough for leftovers if ordering a medium deep dish for two or hand tossed. The cheese is so delicious and tastes fresh. The wait for the deep dish is worth it!

    Garlic knots - Insanely good!!

I am SO thrilled to have Acme Pizza in town! My husband and I regularly drive 30 minutes to eat at the Holly Springs location! I jumped up and cheered when I first heard they were coming to Morrisville! This location is 5 minutes from my home!! The Garlic knots are something I dream of! It is seriously one of the best things I've ever tasted. The pizza here is fantastic...but the garlic knots are out of this world! Our party of 6 ordered a full order of garlic knots (10 knots), a large Acme Classic: sausage, mushroom, green pepper, onion, mozzarella on a hand tossed crust; a large Margherita pizza on a hand tossed crust, and a medium deep dish pepperoni, garlic pizza. We all ate a lot and were happy to still have leftover pizza to take home. One of the things that always stand out in my mind is the wonderful service we always experienced in Holly Springs. Morrisville is just as great! Our server gave us a discount on our deep dish pizza because it took a bit longer to bake than expected. If you plan to have dinner there and want to save some time, order your deep dish pizza in advance. It takes about 30 minutes for them to make it, but it is worth the wait!

Bottom line: I've had some good visits to the new ACME Pizza. I enjoyed the small cheese pizza, the burger (the bun a bit dry though), and the Caesar salad I've had during experiences there. A bit disappointed that they do not have pizza by the slice all the time, but only around lunch time weekdays. The Deets: I saw the new location of ACME Pizza in the Grace Park area of Morrisville (with their first ACME being located in Holly Springs), and the Yelper in me just had to see what was going on. I've had two visits there. They have a nice clean restaurant with bar and table areas, and the bar seats have a good view of the kitchen (both times I opted for the bar seating). The first visit I thought I'd just swing by and get a slice of pizza to see how it was...well...I found out they only do pizza by the slice from 11a-3p Mon-Fri and it was late afternoon when I visited, so I was out of luck for just one slice. It was a bit disappointing, since I won't be able to come over during lunch time most of the time. However, they do have a pretty extensive menu with apps, salads, burgers, subs, strombolis, calzones, and of course pizzas. I started off with a small Caesar salad and enjoyed it, liked that it was generous with the cheese. Next, I went with their ACME Angus Burger which the menu describes as a half pound of Angus beef with lettuce, tomato, and onion included. I went with no onions and tomato but decided to add on cheese ($1.00 to add). The burger itself was good portion and juicy without being overly greasy or hard to eat. I enjoyed the burger itself a lot and it was tasty but if I am splitting hairs, I do have to say I thought the bun was pretty dry and wish the bun tasted fresher. The fries I got to accompany the burger were as expected and good. On to my next visit, where I decided to get their smallest pizza size and have it be a hand tossed cheese pizza. They do have deep dish pizza as well (being that they advertise as Chicago style) but I'm not a thick crust/thick pizza person. Their smallest sized pizza is a bit larger than a personal pizza but a hungry person can tackle one if motivated. The hand tossed cheese pizza was pretty good, I liked it. Again I am more of a thin and crispy type of crust pizza person but I do like what I had here at ACME. Each one of my visits, service was very positive, pleasant, and helpful with no complaints. As far as price points for each of the individual items I have tried, the small Caesar salad was $6.45; the Angus burger (without add-ons) was $12.95; and the smallest sized cheese pizza was $11.95. I do see on their menu that they do dine-in, pick-up, and delivery. Any way of those that you try ACME, you are likely to enjoy the meal.

Small mixed greens salad with balsamic herb vinaigrette

very decorative, ambiance is very impressive. staff are very friendly and wonderful. My father and I went here for dinner tonight and was very impressed! The ambiance is very eclectic and different with wonderful quotes on the walls. The staff are very friendly and courteous as soon as you walk through the door. The pizza is incredible!! We ordered the Acme Classic pizza which is sweet Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Very good pizza!! I had a Small mixed greens salad with balsamic herb vinaigrette. It was very fresh and delicious, and a good portion size for a small salad. The wine and beer list is impressive with local breweries and a good selection of varietal wines. Acme pizza is a great pizza joint to hang out in and makes a great neighborhood restaurant to visit on a regular basis. You are welcomed with a cheery smile and good spirits in the pizza place. It does make you feel like you are at home when you come here, so I look forward to coming back here with my father the next time I am in town.

    Delicious deep dish cheese

After eating Giordano's Pizza in Chicago, I always searched for a deep dish pizza to compare. Finally got my chance to compare Acme Pizza on #NationalPizzaDay and boy, they did not disappoint! The sauce, the cheese, the crust, Wow! I ordered a medium cheese, deep dish and brought it home to enjoy. If you've never had deep dish, come here because the taste combination is perfect! I will warn you, one piece is a lot of Pizza, order accordingly.

    Small deep dish pizza.

First time at Acme Pizza. Wife and I ordered wedge salad and the lettuce was limp and wilted. It was really bad. We also ordered two small deep dish pizzas. I can't say that I ever had a real Chicago deep dish pizza, but ours were terrible. They both had way too much sauce, they were not hot, and had very little flavor. We had three pieces each and left the rest. To make the experience even more memorable (not in a good way), the bill was $70.00 with no alcohol. We won't be going back to Acme Pizza.

The birthday girl turned 94 and it was her first time at Rigos. She loved it and is looking forward to returning. She chose the lasagna that came with bread and salad. The salads and hot bread came out first then a short time later the entrees. Both entrees were delivered quickly and hot. Both were delicious.. I was about to order 2 but ended up buying only 1 after being surprised to see that price spiked to $35. It's not like they added any premium ingredients or enhanced it any way. Yeah, it's specialty good but not worth $35 in my book. On top of that, there's a $2 service fee for a pick up order, and when asked to get extra masala sauce and garlic sauce, I got charged extra for those on top of the overpriced pizza. Final bill reached to about $44. For that amount, I could get 2 Extra Large pizzas at Marco's. As much as I love Rigo's Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, I just think the price increase is ridiculous. At least 1 small container of garlic sauce should be complimentary (like Marco's) but can't believe they charged me extra for that. The lady at the cashier was friendly, and gave me some crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese for free, so that part was nice, but sadly, I probably won't be returning to Rigo's anytime soon after this disappointing experience. Ambiance is small and casual space so Rigo's is more ideal for take out. | Overall Score: 3.4/5

What makes a good Italian restaurant. First of all, it has to have an owner who takes pride in their food, service, AND atmosphere, and Ro, the owner here (short for Rosemarie), delivers on all fronts. The location is perfect, in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The outdoor seating area is spacious and attractive. The indoor space is pleasant. The servers are kind and conscientious (shoutout to Tiffany), and the food is exactly what you want in an Italian restaurant -- great red sauce, all the red sauce favorites, made with quality ingredients (no greasy cheap mozzarella here!), hearty sandwiches and stromboli, great pizza, and some lesser-known dishes. I've had the pizza, the meatball sandwich, the chicken parm (I told you I'm from New Jersey where that's what we call it, though I DON'T call "mozzarella" "mutzadell"), the chicken/mozzarella panini, and the chicken marsala. All of them are perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The broccoli and spinach sides are perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of garlic. The most recent time I was there (April 11, 2026) there was a very young singer of American standards named Liam Rocka. It's unusual to see a guy that young in a porkpie-type hat, suit, and natty red pocket square. This young man has the crooner phrasing down to a T, though he occasionally ventures off-key, because while Sinatra made it sound easy, this stuff is really hard to sing, and it's a delight to see someone this young loving this music. He gets bonus points with me for apparently having discovered Frank Sinatra by watching old Warner Bros. cartoons. The most recent time I was there, I stupidly left my credit card in the folder with the check, and when I called, Ro got on the phone and said she has it, and I went down and retrieved it. And she required me to prove who I was to get it, which is important. I've taken my retirees group here for lunch in the past, and I'll schedule another lunch there soon. At a time when restaurants are increasingly moving to the "fast casual" model, with plastic cutlery and takeout containers, Georgina's is a welcome throwback to the way restaurants should be. Go! Mangia!

So had to order the soup separately, which was very good, but then when my meatball sandwich came out it was without the side I choose, since I was told I had to pick one. Then I had to remind the waitress I asked for the side to be packaged to go. The sauce on the sandwich was good, as was the bread, but the meatball itself was a bit bland. My spouse had the chicken marsala with pasta and started with a salad. She really enjoyed the balsamic vinegarette. She did feel the marsala could stand to be a bit sweeter. Oddly her dinner entree did not come with any bread or an offer for any. Georgina, you confound me with your rules. We only return every now because we forget what we disliked until we're here. Both of the pizzas were yummy, we shared the Piccante Pizza and I got the Pepperoni Pizza to go for my daughter. Lastly, the noodles. These were not bad, but I would not get them again as they were a little bland. That being said, they were on the kid's menu so no big deal, we really just wanted to try them out. I would absolutely go back to this location, as well as the Cary location as I have tried it in the past but never left a review. We enjoyed the entire experience!
