Another excellent meal. I become a fan of Hoops pizza. Especially the thin crusty crust the have. I ordered the Garaden Pizza for the vegetables. Then add Canadian bacon, pepperoni, this time i added the cups pepperoni. Thus made a delicious meal I use the protein to slow my glucose. My granddaughter was with us. She wanted the basket bits. We got a variety of pizzas and the owner was kind enough to bring it to the house. They have gluten free pizza and are very accommodating for someone with a gluten intolerance. We ordered 3 delivery pizzas on a Saturday evening. They were diverted promptly and tasted fantastic. The crusts were everything the other reviews said: chewy, tasty, nice crisp with a bit of char, and not under-done. The ingredients on each pizza (triple double pepperoni, full court press, margherita - all Neapolitan style) were fresh and abundant. The pepperoni in particular wasn't skimped on! The only thing I would have appreciated would have been is if someone had texted to let us know they delivered the pizza. We do have a sign out front that says don't knock or ring the doorbell so they left the pizza on a chair on the front porch, but we didn't know it was there for almost 10 minutes. Otherwise, Grade A stuff from this place!!! (Also, we were so hungry & they were so good that we were plowing through all three pizzas before I thought to stop & take pictures!) New to the area and ate here for the first time tonight! We had the grandma's special (I think thats what its called). A thick pizza with half cheese and half italian sausage. The sauce was on top of the cheese. It was so amazingly good!! I can't remember the last time I had such a good pizza!! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very polite!! What a nice addition to Pittsboro! Nice, helpful, knowledgeable employees! Beer and wine now with a great selection of regional beer and a cider on tap along with wines and Prosecco on tap. We split the autumn pear salad, which was amazing, and the 3 point shot pizza. The pizza is good quality and delicious. However the real star for me was that autumn pear salad. It's blink-and-you'll-miss-it tucked away by Aromatic and Cackalacky, but well worth the annoyance of going all the way down to the roundabout if you accidentally overshoot it. Relatively small new pizza place in Pittsboro. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. The place is very nice and clean. I went with a group and everyone liked their food. I ordered a Neapolitan Margherita pizza which which according to the menu comes with sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. But it came with one slice of cherry tomato on each slice of pizza that hadn't been cooked so I just had to take it off. The pizza tasted good. I will probably be back to try them again. Next time I think I'll check out the Hawaiian pizza. read more

TL;DR: Tasty, but small pizza, skimpy toppings, expensive, forced tipping Our first time at Hoops and I wish I had a better experience to offer. Based on the price we thought we were getting a large pizza, but turned out to be medium/small with lots of crust and skimpy toppings. The pizza itself was about $20, what we're used to paying for a large everywhere else. The online ordering process forces you to tip, the minimum being 15%. Not sure what I was tipping for since I picked it up and the person just handed it to me. On the plus side, the ingredients were mostly fresh, and it was tasty. read more

i just randomly found Hoops and my daughter and I went in and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the place and then the absolute best customer service ever!
