The amp in my e39 bmw kept failing due to moisture issues. Vee figured it out. He waterproofed the trunk, sealed the connections to the amp, and custom made a splash guard for it and re ran the wires to prevent it happening again. He then installed a new eonon head unit, backup camera and fixed the rattle in my tailgate and replaced my old headlights. My 2002 car looks great and the audio issues are all resolved!!! read more

Giving this clown a one star is overrating him considerable..I wold give him a minus 10. I saw his add on the internet.It looked like he had a nice store front...When I called him he expressed a good understating of my car. When I went to the appoint I was driving up and down his street and I could find his address and saw no signs of a store..Finely I saw his address on a broken down house with junk cars in his driveway..I though this couldn't be the place..Shockingly it was. There was no sign of him so I called his cell phone and he told me he worked out of his house and he would be there in 15 minutes..One hour later he showed up. I could kick myself in the ass for not leaving at that moment. I would go on to bringing my car back to him five times, each and eery time I got it back the problems were worse. Finally one night he showed up at my house at 10 o'clock at night to work on it. Now my speed omitter and my instrument cluster don't work. The next time I see him it will be in small claims court..He can keep taking my posts down, but I will keep putting them up until he is out of business!!! The absolute worst. I gave him one star only because you can give a negative amount. Vee came out, looked at my marine system and said I needed a new Fusion stereo. He provided me a quotation and stated he would need a deposit so he could order the new Fusion unit and the unit would take a week to get in, that was June 25, 2021. I paid him $450.00 so he could order my replacement unit and now I can not get him back to install. It has now been over two months. After dozens of texts and phone calls I now have no other choice but to take him to court. Very sad, seemed like a nice young man. read more

Vee did an incredible job installing my amp and sub to the factory system. He mounted the amp to the chassis behind the trunk wall so it's hidden and I can simply disconnect the sub speaker cables and remove the box if needing more space. Impressive. Just a heads up, he is meticulous which takes time so make sure you have adequate time for him to access your vehicle. I'd absolutely recommend. read more

I had V come to my motorhome in early January to fix a problem and he took a part with him and I gave him $100 deposit and after leaving him many text messages because his answer device was full but was able to finally leave one message, I never heard back from him and had to leave Sarasota for home without the part or service as of March 28th. If there were an option to give 0 stars that would be my selection. Our experience with V was not a positive one. V does not follow through with what he says he will do. He does not arrive when he says he will arrive He does not keep you informed as to why he doesn't arrive at an agreed upon time. He does NOT REFUND MONEY as agreed upon. I called ALL over about having an amplifier replaced in my GMC Acadia....until I found Vee. He came over and quickly found the problem. And instead of replacing it...HE FIXED IT! Something everybody told me was "impossible." VEE is a genius! All the YouTube videos said it's too hard to access, and you need very special hard to find tools. He had all the testing equipment, soldering guns, and special tools.....no waiting around for special orders. What a Guy! read more

I usually do not write negative reports, however, Vee cost me $2600 to have a short repaired at Lexus that he caused trying to install a radio on my 2005 Lexus SC430. I paid Vee $660 for work performed and got nothing out of this installation. I paid an additional $400 to another installer to finish the installation. You get promises when he will show up and you wait to see if he will show up. Very unreliable & I am out $3260 because of Vee's incompetence. V came out to work on my boat stereo and repair one of the speakers that wasn't working. He diagnosed the problem in minutes. I asked him to "cleanup" what the previous person did who installed the system last year. He rewired everything and made it right all the through. It looked like it was done in the factory! BUYER BEWARE!!! I was looking to upgrade my stereo in my car. I looked online and saw the reviews for Acidic Audio and decided to give him a shot. He came to my house showed me my options and hired him. He said he needed to check to see if his supplier had the parts. He told me that the subwoofer I wanted was on order but the supplier had the other parts and he would be by the next day to get money to get the other parts and start the install that day. He showed up the next day to inform me that they didn't have the other parts either. No biggie. I gave him 700.00 deposit for parts. He told me he would be back the next week to install. 5 days later he called me and said parts were but the subwoofer wasn't he said he would just make a box that would fit. He told me it would be 5 hours to install. He showed up at noon. 5 hours turned into 12 hours. I had to tell him to come back the next day. He showed up next day put everything together but he didn't bring the subwoofer he would make.He made it so all he would have to do when he came back is drop it in. 3 weeks have gone by. He didn't return my message to calls. I found out a family member used him and were friends. He reached out to him to see what was up. The next week I finally spoke to him and he told me he was sick the week before. He said he would take care of it in the upcoming days. I gave him 3 days and called him this time his car was broke down. He told me he would get to me by the weekend. Weekend came and went. So now I had to purchase my own subwoofer and have someone else install it. I paid 75% of the labor and all of the parts. read more

I am writing this review to thank "v" for his awesome work. I sunk ( half sunk ) my boat and after I got it dried out ( drain plugged again whoops) and cleaned up put it away for 6 months due to a back surgery. Unfortunately salt water got into my stereo system subwoofers (wetsounds revo xxx) speaker I paid 800 for last year so was pretty depressed when it didn't play. I did not Know if it was the amp or wires or speakers so on advice of SRQ custom stereo called acidic ... they said his " on-site " electronic repair was scone to none. V came out at 8 pm on Friday night and while I chatted with him he methodically tracked down the problems and fixed them 100%. Having watched him work I can say he has a gift. If you ever need on-site repairs he is the one to call! He is beyond capable and his prices are unbeatable. I've already ordered a Bluetooth add on and will have him back out next week. read more

Acidic Audio is fantastic! My girlfriend's truck had 3 out of 4 blown speakers, and I wanted to get her all new ones for her birthday, and I knew nothing about audio equipment. I called and talked to V, he was knowledgeable, polite, and very professional. And his pricing was cheaper than other quotes I had gotten. He told me which size speakers to buy and where to get them. I got 2 brand new pairs of Kickers and he squeezed me in to his schedule late at night, installed all 4 speakers quickly and properly, and while he was working on the truck he discovered a wiring problem in the driver's side rear door causing the dome light and speaker to not work. Even though that was not part of my original quote, he fixed the problem on the spot by re-wiring the whole door. V's skills go way beyond audio equipment, he is a smart dude who will take care of you! My girlfriend is thrilled with her new speaker system and we couldn't be happier. read more
