Ryan and Cody are amazing ! I have experienced car audio at several places ( from high end to budget ) and they rank at the top. They are doing a custom install for my 2003 Jeep TJ ( I am doing this in stages ): Round one was head unit (with android auto), back up camera, blue tooth ( my jeep is heavily modified ). Round two will consist of amp and speakers ( jeeps are noisy, so they need good power to be heard ). Next will be my 2008 Porsche TT - which has an archaic Porsche Communication Management System ( they do lots of dealer work - so this is not new for them ). Many other audio shops fail at trying to integrate into Porsche systems ( they are proprietary & unnecessarily complicated ). For SRQ - this is straight forward. It will be a gut and replace - so has to be compatible and meticulous. Ryan recommends the appropriate equipment ( he likes Sony decks - but can mate to Audison and Hertz speakers and amps if appropriate ). He knows what is best for your application. Cody is a artisan ! Never answers the calls. I personally drove there spoke to one of the employees and he said to text my message to the owner. 4 to 5 texts later and more calls than that no one ever return my text. don't waste your money ryan the owner is a liar and doesn't keep his word unfortunately, I brought my truck to him for a second time for some upgrades. He kept the truck for two weeks didn't complete. The job told me he was moving to a new Location and then he would complete it when he got settled not true wasn't getting in. The location was going out of business so while he had my truck for two weeks he used crappy equipment subpar wires and it cost me another $3000 to have it corrected run run for the hills do not go to this guy read more

Ryan is a stand up guy. His work is excellent and custom, no out of box, crossed wires, yuck installation like I had at another place in SRQ that I won't name. I'm a mom with 4 kids so you're asking, what does this lady need with a custom car guy? Well my kids need good entertainment on long road trips and he custom remade my console in my conversion van, he also installed a train horn for me....mistake me for a soccer mom? Guess what...COVER YOUR EARS. His quote for the custom console btw was nearly $400 LESS than the other place I originally went to and it's beautiful. Three weeks prior to this review of SRQ Customs, I had scheduled an appointment to have new speakers installed, a 5 channel amp, and a 10 inch sub put into my vehicle. The person who scheduled me was the owner and he had me coming back on Thursday the 27th a week later, at 0900H. I handed over my car keys on time and had someone drive me home. Around 1400H I received a call asking me to call them back, and when I did they said they were not able to look at my car that day. I asked if they could keep my car overnight and work on it the next day, and they said that they were completely booked for that day and that the next open time would be next week on Friday the 4th. I bring my vehicle earlier in the day (0530) as agreed on, and I ordered an Uber home. At approximately 1309H, the owner texts me and states that my vehicle was not able to be looked at again and that they didn't have an open spot. I had to inconvenience the same person to bring me back to my vehicle and the owner immediately left to "run errands" while Adam (an employee) came out to explain things to me. I explained how this all could have been avoided if they had just let me know before I brought my car in that they were unable to work on it for the foreseeable future. Adam explained to me that they didn't even have the parts to work on my vehicle (missing the amp and the box due to COVID related manufacturing problems). I appreciate Adam apologizing on the behalf of the business, but I am still upset that 3 weeks were wasted and $30 on an Uber when they could've informed me that they were completely tied up with other projects before I drove down. I am also upset that the owner had an employee handle the situation instead of himself. It pains me to write a bad review of a place since I never complain about services, but this was absolutely ridiculous and a giant waste of my time and money, as well as my friends time. I don't understand how this company could knowingly have me bring my vehicle down when they knew they did not even have the parts to put into my vehicle in the first place at the start of the first visit, as well as the second. read more

Spent over $4000.00 with this company and now that the box that SRQ built is only 2 months old and the box cracked and I had waited over 4 months to have it built for me, kept telling me machine is broken. Well im gonna bring it to Mad Marks which is in Bradenton and let you know of any updates. I would not recommend SRQ as it takes took long to get things done, they don't honor there warranty and only has one employee. Ryan's pricing is completely fair, and his installations are absolutely flawless. Ignore the post about Mad Mark's. They did an install on my vehicle 9 years ago, it never WAS installed correctly, and they scratched up my dash in the process of the install. They also refused to fix it. I was disappointed. Ryan, however, has done 3 or 4 different jobs on my cars the last 4 years, and other than the GREAT sound, I couldn't even tell that SRQ was inside my car. They left it flawless and perfect. And, when I DID have one issue (a speaker wire and wiggled off inside the door), he fixed it without question, for FREE. He has GREAT customer service, and I'm a client for life. Terrible customer service. I think they waited till I came in to start the job. It was supposed to be 3 hours. My car was not finished until 6:30pm. My appointment was 9am. In the owners defense, he had a family emergency and was not there to help/supervise his employees. He did offer 44.00 off my bill. I had to go back today because a piece of my dashboard was left off and not in my jeep. I do wish I had been kept in the loop with a phone call regarding the situation so I could have rescheduled. I also wish I had been called to let me know that part of my vehicle was still at the shop. I raised the "star" from 1 to 3...that's the best I can do with all things considered. read more

SRQ does an awesome job! I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did on my Raptor. They were able to build the best sounding, loudest sub enclosure within the constraints of the back seat. The rest of the stereo also sounds amazing and I was able to keep the factory head unit. SRQ installed Rigid lights, a remote starter and bypassed the rear and front and rear cameras! Absolutely terrible service. Go to Mad Marks in Bradenton if you want a good, working system that'll last. It's worth the drive trust me.. SRQ Customs messed up my car in multiple ways and not to mention the sound system never worked for more than one day without the sub popping. I've had plenty of car audio installations and this was by far one of the worst. Car smelled like paint for a week when I picked it up and they never uninstalled all the wires (like they said they would) so that they could save themselves 20$.. They only tucked the wires under my seat and broke my trunk button in the process.. I had to bring it to Mad Marks just to get it all to work. They're also overpriced by a lot at Srq customs even with no JL Audio or known brands. read more
