Meh. The chicken soft tacos were dry, flavorless, and overcooked. The beef crispy tacos were rock hard so VERY overcooked and frankly inedible. The fish taco was good but a small piece buried in cabbage. Rice and beans standard. My daughter's crispy beef tacos were OK but again the meat was overcooked. The service was ok amd the place was clean. It was just average...at best. And average doesn't get my money a second time. After thinking about it I revised the score. It was just bad. I was trying to be nice but really....I would rather eat dry dog food rather than eat this stuff. I hear Purina has a dog food for middle age dogs that is pretty tasty. read more

Not even sure how this business is still in business. This place is basically an over priced Mexican fast food joint. A lot of the customers don't seem to mind paying the over priced food but I sure do mind. Their fries are weak and not even worth the 10 dollars. There was barely any cheese the small amount of cheese on the fries wasn't even melte, the fries were cold and not crispy at all. Their sauce cart has like two sauces. Won't be my first or third choice for lunch. It was a pretty disappointing visit, food wise. Pros: - Recently opened (clean environment) - Friendly staff - Large portion Cons: - Food was not great. Portion is great but it's not worth eating if it's not good. Very very bland. - Price is on par with better Mexican joins - Chain feel Restaurant (like a Chipotle or a Taco Del Mar) I was really disappointed by how bland the food was, especially for the refried beans and rice. Usually restaurants that serve bland food are "healthy conscious" and in this case, I wasn't looking forward to eat a healthy meal. Usually Mexican food have a very seasoned and strong taste. I love getting carne asada fries here and that you also have an option of getting a full order or half order. The fries are even somewhat still crispy which is a plus. They don't skip on the toppings either. My go to spot when craving carne asada fries. read more

Had lunch here and had to wait for someone to come behind the counter to take our orders when the restaurant was literally empty. No seating at all inside and out. I would recommend they step up on customer service and have a seating area available for customers to enjoy their food. read more

Came on a taco Tuesday so, tacos are $1.25 a piece! Deals! Ordered online. It was ready when I arrived. I had 2 fish tacos, 3 carne asada tacos, and 3 chicken tacos. Along with a small side of refried beans. Fish taco was great... not a big fan of fish... but, that fish taco was life! Carne asada tacos were tender and delicious. This place is great for a quick, yummy meal. They have a large menu and reasonable prices. There is a fresh salsa bar as well with different salsas, fresh cut lime and spicy pickled carrots and jalapeños. This place has good food at a good price! I work across the street in one of the business parks and there arent many options for good Mexican food. I ordered 3 rolled tacos w/ chicken ($3.50 - includes guac and cheese) and a grilled chicken torta ($6) It doesnt seem like a lot of food but I was stuffed after I forced myself to finish it all. The only knock on the torta is that the meat was grounded up - it is not what I was expecting but maybe I should've. This order was to go and the food was packaged well and didnt fall apart by the time I got back to work. Apparently, they have $0.99 tacos on Taco Tuesday. Their carne asada is marinated very well! I can't complain. The salsa bar was clean, stocked, and had reasonable sized sauce containers- not the super small ones. I'd have to pack many small ones at other places. The carne asada fries are pretty good. It comes with guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. You can also choose a half or full size order. The place is pretty clean and bright. It really lightens up the atmosphere. The girls at the counter were very friendly, quick, and professional. Prices are very affordable. On the back of their to-go menu, they have catering options. There was an option that caught my eye for my small office crew: 20 tacos with a family size order of beans and rice, and chips and salsa for $39.99. That's actually a pretty good deal! Good mexican restaurant near work. On Tuesdays they have 99 cent tacos. Order as many as you want with any meat you like. It's kind of a regular outing we do as a team :) Othewise they have a good selection of burritos/plates with standard mexican fare. Portions are generous and service is really quick. read more

This place is totally legit. Great food great service and extremely fast. Honestly i work right down the street and there is little to no restaurants around this part of town for us to be able to order/ eat from when your on lunch. Of course you can order Uber but sometimes you just don't know what your going to get. That's definitely not the case with these guys! Every single time I've gone there whether it's breakfast or lunch they have always been on point with their food and service. I will caution you that during lunchtime and they are extremely and I mean extremely busy but I think that goes to say their food and servers speaks for themselves. So happy this spot finally opened. It's been "coming soon" for what seems like a few years. For those of you who love San Diego/Southern CA Mexican food, Aceituno's will fit the bill. It doesn't quite have that "good dirty" flavor to it like an Alberta's. It's cleaner and still very good. It reminds me of Vallarta Express. They have all of my favorites from San Diego. Carne asada fries, California burrito, horchata, rolled tacos with guacamole, and $0.99 Taco Tuesday. Good portions. I'm set! They have a salsa bar with the usual red and green salsa with the extra fixings. I usually stick with the red and it's quite flavorful with a little kick. They open at 6am on the weekdays and they serve breakfast burritos. Haven't had a burrito yet. I think they're a little on the expensive side at $7. In the grand scheme of things, $7 isn't bad at all. Compared to other Mexican joints that offer a similar menu, it's on the high side. The tacos come with a good portion of meat. The fish tacos are flavorful but the batter isn't crispy when you bite into it. I'll be returning here for more than just taco Tuesday. read more

Overall a disappointing meal. This is about the 4th time I've gone here and the beef they use for their orders seems to be cooked in water, so it's extremely bland, it can't even be considered as carne asada, just cooked beef. Their salsa selection is severely lacking, and even what is there is watered down and excessively spicy. The way they get their orders out extremely fast is because they precook a lot of their protien for their orders, made extremely evident by the lack of noise coming from the kitchen when orders are received. Looked around while waiting and found the place to be clean. Food came out and it was as I expected. The flavors didn't stand out, but they did taste good and were priced very nicely. Prices for most items on their expansive menu were also good. I've repeatedly returned for their breakfast burritos since they open so early. We were gonna eat at Saimin Says but decided to finally give Aceituno's a try. It's a new, nice, clean little restaurant. We ordered the 12pc "rolled tacos", 6 chicken and 6 beef and a full size order of carne asada fries. The rolled tacos are pretty much taquitos lol. Everything was pretty good except the cheese they sprinkled on the rolled tacos wasn't melted. Could've took the extra 30 seconds to melt the cheese! Would've made my experience that much better haha. I'm just nitpicking. Also found out that they're about to open a restaurant by Bestbuy at Southcenter! Came here for lunch and the service was friendly and good(it was walk to the counter and order). I ordered an enchalda / taco combo plate with rice and beans. The taco and enchalda were mediocre at best. The crisp taco shell had visable oil pooled on it and the beef inside was cooked crisp. The rice was decent and the beans just didn't seem as good as I'm used to. This place isn't really a taqueria and not really an americanized Mexican restaurant, it's kind of an americanized taqueria which doesn't work for me. This place is OK but you can find much better food in the area. It might just be me, the folks that work there were nice and the place was busy, so you be the judge. read more

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the customer service. The day I went a heavy set women took my order and she was just so rude.
